The sound is typical to all of bose audio products from headphones to speakers with the ability to push maximum volume with no distortion. The bass is incredible and the acoustics are crisp. I will never want to watch TV or a movie using the TV speakers again. The drawback is the massive lotion bottle size remote that controls the unit and the bricked power cord. Avoid wasting your money on imitation soundbars and just buy yourself a bose. It is a solid investment.
