Hooking up was easy. Setting up with the TV was easy. Turned on the TV expecting night and day difference, but there was none. Realizing my TV only has 8 watts of power going to the audio, the Bose sounded good but not amazing like my other Bose products(computer speakers, car stereo). So I returned it for a Samsung 100 watt amplified model which sounds great & is perfect for my bedroom TV. The Solo 5 really needs to add a little power to be effective.

I bought this sound bar for the TV mounted on the wall in my home office. I knew it was good but it sounds even clearer than I had hoped.

What's not sure when I got it home it would sound as good as what it sounded in the store. However it was exceptional.

It sounds good but it can be better. No bottoms so you need to increase the volume with a huge remote control. Expensive.

Just what I needed. Much better sound that the speakers in my Samsung 43" TV. But that's to be expected for anything that's made by Bose.

This is a great soundbar, no surprise as it's a Bose. It adds great sound when uou don't necessarily ned the whole surround sound thing.

The Bose sound bar is as described. It works flawlessly. Glad we got this one. The remote is a universal and also works great.

This is a wonderful speaker for TV in a small room. Nice rich bass and clear treble. In the bedroom we didn't want a sub-woofer to clutter things up. This certainly clarifies the sound and fills the room to enhance movie watching experience. It has a special setting to sharpen voices being broadcast making it more enjoyable to hear. Bose is always a crisp wonderful sound. My wife wants one for our family room, but I think it's too small for that, after all a family room needs our 7.1 theater surround system that will shake you to your core if you need it to. :)

Small space needed for this device with powerful sound output. Moderately priced without compromise to the Bose standard.
