They had issues hearing the tv. Now it’s clear and the volum doesn’t have to be set high. Best present I could have given. Great item.

Posted .Thanks for sharing your feedback! The volume level doesn’t appear on the TV screen when connected, but you can check the soundbar’s light indicator to see if the volume is increasing.
As for the bass, you can adjust it using the remote. Just press the Bass button, then use Volume Up to increase or Volume Down to decrease the bass. The status and Bluetooth lights on the soundbar will show the current bass level.

I'm using it in a bedroom, so it doesn't need to be super loud. The bass is low but audible. The remote supplied with it MUST be used, you cannot control it with a universal or with any other remote.
