Thanks for reaching out and for providing a review of the SoundLink Wireless around-ear headphones II. Sorry to hear that you had some difficulty with the volume output. There are few troubleshooting steps we suggest that can help:
Please try connecting the headphones using the audio a cable.
Perform a headset reset:
Turn the headset off and wait for 30 seconds.
Plug the headset into a USB power supply via USB cord and wait 5 seconds. (Power supply needs to be plugged into the wall with power on).
Unplug the USB cord from the headset and wait 1 minute.
Turn on the headset and test if the headset works properly.
Try testing the headphones with another device to see if the issue is consistent.
