Lightweight and comfortable to use for hours. Constructed well, using durable plastic, metal core headband and synthetic leather. Overall sound is balanced with clear vocals and ample bass. However, look elsewhere if you want more bass or listen to bass heavy music, such as the Beats Studio Wireless. These do not have active noise canceling, however I find that it is not needed since the earcups provide a good seal and block some outside noise. The volume seems to be limited and doesn't get super loud like other Bluetooth headphones, but any louder and the sound would be distorted. Bluetooth connection has been good, reconnects to device easily and has a range more than the suggested 30 feet. Pairing is a snap and can connect to multiple devices. Controls are well placed and easy to manipulate. The voice prompts are a nice touch telling you battery level and which device your are connected to. I haven't fully tested the battery life but have been able to go a whole week using the headphones two hours a day and still have juice left. When you do run out of power, you are able to use the headphones in regular wired mode.

The sound and Bluetooth connection is good. I hate that the microphone will pickup all sounds nearby and will make it horrible for phone calls. Also, the plastic will not last more than two years. I don't think i will but another Bose headphones ever.

      Hello, Luisin64150.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your SoundLink Wireless Around-Ear Headphones II. We're glad to hear you're enjoying the headset's audio quality and Bluetooth connection.

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing difficulty with your microphone. If possible, we would recommend taking calls in quieter environments with lower wind noise to improve the quality of far-end audio.

For the best assistance, please reach out to our support team directly at 1-800-367-4008. They are available M-F 9 AM to 9 PM Eastern, and this team will also be happy to look into service options if you are noticing any plastic peeling off of your headset.

Thank you again, and have a great weekend.

Extremely disappointed. Even with my HiFi sub to Tidal these sounded horrible. Bass was only good thing but it muddled the music so badly. Spend a few dollars more and get the Shure Aonic 50. It's what I did and it's night and day difference.

they sound alright, honestly after listening to them for awhile now, i like the sony's better. the earpads are kind of small and rub on the back of my ears. the sound drops out kind of often, even with my phone in my pocket or sitting next to me, other bluetooth stuff i have never cuts out until i leave the room. they are 100% plastic and feel slightly flimsy. i worry about them breaking. honestly for the money you can get much better headphones. i'm including a picture with a ruler to give you an impression of size for the earpad.

I've had a lot of the bluetooth headphones at Best Buy and these are BY FAR the best par of headphones I've ever owned. The 15 hour battery life is extremely accurate and with only 15 minutes of charing, I get 2 hours of playback. I were these for at least 5 hours a day continuously and the don't irritate my ears at all. Extremely comfortable and light weight. The Microphone on these are amazing!!! I can answer a call through my headphones and the call clarity is great, even without cables. I actually get a better call quality from these headphones then I do my phone. They can be connected to two devices at the same time, so I can be watching a youtube video on my computer and if I get a call on my phone, I can take the call and it automatically pauses the video on my computer. When the call ends, it goes back to playing the video. My biggest concern was that they would lack the bass. I listen to a lot of rap music so this was very important to me. The bass on these are amazing!! Definitely a lot crisper and tighter then the beats studio wireless. Coming from an audio snob who wears they're headphones for hours every day, buy these. I have been NOTHING but impressed with these.

I looked at and tried different headphones before dropping this much coin on headphones. My kids have beats. The Beats solo2 wireless are good headphones, but pricey. I prefer over-the-ear to on-ear. I would have to spend nearly $400 to get comparable beats. These headphones are incredible. They have a rich full sound. Regardless of what genre of music you enjoy, the Bose Sound Link II wireless headphones deliver across the board. The sound quality is great. The lows are spot on. The remainder is the spectrum is as excellent in sound quality. The battery life is wonderful. The Bluetooth is fast and efficient, connection less than 3 seconds send the phone feature works very well. The phone functions worked and sounded great. The comfort is outstanding. I wore my headphones for more than 5 hours straight. I did not experience any discomfort and didn't make my ears hot. The case is nice case and go into the case nicely. Best pair of headphones I've owned to date. I definitely would recommend these to anyone. Thank you.

These headphones are by far the lightest and most comfortable headphones I've ever owned. They weigh in slightly over 6 ounces. You can wear them for long duration and feel no fatigue or discomfort. The sound is amazing depending on the type of genre your into. If your into rap and pop I would look at getting something else do to the lack of bass. For all other types of music these are by far the best wireless headphones in the price range. I do feel the soundlink wireless could be louder. I find myself listening to music with the volume maxed most of the time.

I’ve been through quite a few Bluetooth headphones and have never really settled until now. My former-current headphones where the SOL Republic Tracks Air. When Bluetooth emerged, a lot of companies jumped on the band wagon going through stages of replicating hardwire connection sound. Apt-X technology came along but one of very few, if any go it right. It took Bose a while to come out with a headphone but when they finally did, the AE2-W was finally out the gate. I did listed to it, but it appeared to still lack that Bose quality and for over $300 bucks then, it was hard to spend that cash. Furthermore, the funny module on the side threw me off too. It was also flimsy. I waited and waited until finally, Bose released the ‘on-the-ear’ style. It sounded solid but after a while, my ears would hurt so I kept on waiting again. A few weeks ago, I got an email that Bose would release ‘over-the-ear’ version of the Bluetooth Soundlink 2. I purchased it and it now appeared that Bose finally nailed it. Out of the box, the headphones appear to be solid. Connecting the headphones was a breeze. It also had NFC capability which I loved. I quickly connected the device and started listening to a good reggae jazz. All of the elements where pronounced in its form. The quality was amazing and the fact that it had no noise canceling even makes it premium for me. For audiophiles, you can tell the difference. The next thing was that this thing is so comfortable, you can actually forget that this thing is on your ears. I wear glasses and was expecting the pads to interfere with it, but it appears that the headphones were not even there at all. It took Bose a long time to release a bluetooth headphone of this caliber, but I can see why it would take this long. I guessed they finally figured it out and it's solid and rocks.

I purchased these as well as the Beats Studio wireless noise cancelling headphones and spent about two weeks using both randomly with varying types of music. Although the Bose do not have the same level of bass, they sound better overall and the battery life is probably about double. This could be due to the noise cancelling feature of the Beats but the Bose do a decent job of keeping out the sounds around you. I also think the construction of the Bose set is better due to their flexibility. The Beats struck me as very rigid and I felt if I had pulled them too far apart that they might snap. Another plus to the Bose is that they will pair to two different devices at once. I was listening to my music on my macbook pro when a phone call rang through on my phone. Nice feature. And finally, the Bose will work with the provided cord even when the battery dies where as the Beats do not. I hope this helps you decide.

I am very happy with my purchase. they are very comfortable and the sound is great. I only need this for listening to music/videos and calls...its perfect. I think the best part is its light weight and fits my head perfectly. I have fallen asleep in bed with these on at least twice already. no damage. highly recommended item.

The Bluetooth programming is at its best in these headphones. I have had many wireless headphones and these are the best. As far as weight, comfort and functionality. It can remember multiple devices and is very easy to switch between devices. I have many Bose products and they have out lasted and audio product I have ever had. So I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they will last longer than any other headset I own. Not to mention impeccable sound quality.
