I did not compare others, but my son wanted a set for Christmas and these did the job,

Sound quality is definitely clear and balanced even at full volume. Though I wish the volume can get louder. It’s perfect for listening indoors or in quiet areas though.

Gift for 16 year old rap aficionado

He says they are more comfortable and the sound is excellent. He doesn’t borrow my beats anymore so I guess these were good.

Good quality headphones

I prefer having the sound around my ear rather than in it. These headphones have a full range of sound and are light and comfortable.

Typical Bose product: great sound at a great price. Though these headphones are not noise canceling, I use them while mowing in the summertime and they work just fine in this capacity.

They aren't noise cancelling which I knew when I purchased them; however, it does drown out most noises. They have great sound quality and are relatively comfortable. They do get hot because they hold in the heat around your ears.
