I have been waiting for a long time to purchase this amazing speaker - ever since I read the reviews and listened to them in a best buy store. SOUND QUALITY ------------------------ I have listened to a lot of others but nothing comes remotely closer to the sound quality that this one produces. The sounds are so crisp on all ranges especially the bass, which is very powerful yet soothing. DESIGN ----------- As compact as it gets! The power button, volume control and the multi-function button are placed on top of the speakers while the charging and 3.5mm jack are placed on the side. The slightly curved design and the rounded edges present a neat finish to the product. BATTERY ------------- It took around 3 hours to fully charge the battery that was down at 10%. User at 75% volume for around 4 hours and still the battery is at 70%. Very good battery life indeed! FINAL THOUGHTS -------------------------- Might look a tad expensive for its segment, but totally totally worth every penny. Overall, a must buy for every speaker enthusiast!

I do lots of field recordings with Sony MZ-B100 Mini Disc Machines as well as Sony's Linear PCM Recorder PCM-M10 (onto chip). Neither has a speaker coming anywhere close to those machine's technical capabilities. The Bose SoundLink & one patch cord lets you share. I record all of my air checks on the PCM and the Bose makes my studio portable. I don't know what Blue Tooth is! I use Bose Speaker cabinets in my studio and now I can share my creations with friends without trying to plug into their amps. Lithium battery charge is long, and it sits, when at home, on its own charging base. Great sound - great buy!

I originally bought the SoundLink III, which was a great/powerful bluetooth speaker. I exchanged it for this due to size, and the fact that I purchased home audio equipment shortly after so I only needed this for travel. This has excellent highs and lows, gets ver loud, charges quickly and lasts about 8hrs, and great bass tones for such a small speaker. In love with this speaker!

I have been thoroughly impressed with the performance and hi-fidelity sound that my Bose Soundlink Mini Bluetooth speaker. Although I have been a long time user of the Bose noise canceling headphones, this is my first Bose external speaker. I had no idea that such big sound could come forth from such a small speaker--and high quality sound, at that. Whether I'm at home or in the office, I'll turn on this speaker and my computer before I turn on my stereo system. Its portability make it extremely versatile and convenient to use in a wide variety of settings for both personal and group listening.

This speaker is small in size but BIG on sound and tone! The ease of set up and use was so fast and simple! It's great at home but is so easy to travel with, too.

I've had this speaker for about 6 months now, and I am yet to find any better ones out there. I am pretty sure I tested every single speaker that Best Buy sells, and did a lot of research before I decided on this one, but it has been worth it. Far superior sound quality, especially bass, to any other. I was first turned off by the weight of it (was a little heavier than I wanted to throw in my purse or bag for the pool) but the weight has turned out to be an asset. My sister has the color sound link and it has unfortunately blown over or off tables. The sound on this one is much better and it's not going anywhere if the wind picks up. I also really like that it is compatible with my Amazon Echo Dot as well as the ability to pause and answer my phone (if I choose, lol). Definitely worth the extra money over the colorful jr model and beats Beats Pill hands down. Great power for such a compact size. I do wish it had its own app and that it could be paired with a second one like the similarly sized and priced Sony speaker, but I'd still take one of these over two of the other. Battery seems to last 10-12 hours when constantly playing, but can go a week or longer if I'm just using it to get ready in the mornings or doing housework. Highly recommend to all ages, it's easy to set up and connects with just about every phone or tablet. Buy it! You'll love it!

Basically I had the device configured in about three minutes, and I'm an admitted techno-challenged individual. The sound easily fills the room and the quality is excellent. I traveled with it and the charge held the entire weekend (and I used it a lot). It is slightly heavy, but to me that makes it feel solid and a quality product). I would recommend this product without hesitation.

Easy to setup. Bluetooth easily connected to all of my devices. Long battery life. Docking station is a nice touch

Using my speaker daily to hear songs off my phone playlist. Good sound, easy to move around, long battery life, and nice shape and visuals. Happy with my purchase. Price could be better.

I read all the different reviews on these type of Blue tooth speakers at the same time went to listen to them on comparing sound quality. I kept on coming back to Bose. To me it had the sound I enjoyed listening to. The only thing I didn't like was the price of it, but then again that's Bose for you. You get what you pay for, and with this one I feel your getting a little more.That little amount counts for me, and will pay for its self back many times over.

I bought this Bose to replace a Zeppelin Air I bought several years ago. Now, don't get me wrong, the Zeppelin kills this in terms of sound quality, but it also takes up a much, much larger footprint, my remote died, and my wifi was spotty so my only solution was to connect a laptop to it, wired, then use my phone as a remote to control the music....not ideal. So I looked for an alternative. This unit is small, compact, meant to be taken places and I absolutely would take it to a hotel or a friend's house if I was asked. Sound quality is better than expected for such a small speaker, but on par with what you would expect from Bose. Pairing it to my phone was a snap. It's quite heavy despite its diminutive footprint which is reassuring. I bought one of the plastic cases to go with it but returned the case because it cheapened the Bose's appearance. Also, I checked out both the black and the 'pearl' or white in store. Normally I buy black electronics but I decided on the white: the black appeared almost rubbery and fingerprints smeared the surface easily. The pearl so far has masked fingerprints and just seems 'nicer'. I don't think you can do better for the price, and even though the audio quality is not the same as my Zeppelin (besides you're playing via Bluetooth), I like the compactness and versatility of the Bose.

I will Simply put Bose SoundLink Mini II is possibly the best all around portable Bluetooth speaker on the market. This speaker has plentiful of all the features such as ability to work as a speakerphone, charge through USB outlets or on its own cradle, remembering multiple Bluetooth devices and pairing to two Bluetooth devices at once. Many of the features do not really even matter to me–I'm really happy that it pairs to my phone and plays my music with wonderful audio quality. Pairing process is very simple, after selecting language in the beginning the speaker automatically put itself in pairing mode and thus able to get music playing in less than 30 seconds from the point of turning it on. There are + and - buttons on the speakers to adjust volume if needed by I personally control volume and music playback through my phone instead. Not that there's something wrong with the buttons, it's just a personal preference. I bought this bose speaker for myou office and it sounds great. The small size and design are stunning.

Speaker sound is great for its size. Hefty weight makes it stable and gives feeling of quality. Battery life was as expected for a portable speaker. Only disappointment was that we purchased two, and couldn't get them to play in sync with each other. Find this on sale, and it's a great deal.

A friend of mine bought one of these and he raved about the sound quality. I had owned other bluetooth speakers and thought they were good, until I purchased this one. The sound quality and loudness blows everything else away. It puts out a sound much larger than you would expect from something so small. I cannot say enough good things, the battery life is tremendous and the charging couldn't be easier. The call quality is very good also. I would HIGHLY recommend this over any other product in its price category. You get a ton more with Bose!

Great sound, love the size and portability. Price is a bit high but that is standard with Bose products and I don't mind paying for quality.

Bought this speaker when it was on sale and it was a great purchase. The speaker puts out amazing sound with great highs and good bass. It connects very quickly to multiple devices and the charge life is great (not sure of the exact amount of time but many hours). Charging the device seems to take a while to get it to 100% yet it charges sufficiently quick if you just want to listen for an hour or two. Overall, I’d highly recommend this speaker. Sounds amazing for such a small speaker.

Bought a JBL Flip ll Bluetooth speaker 6 months ago and it quit taking a charge. Needed something for the backyard deck and I listened to the Bose and thought "Why didn't I buy this in the first place. Yes it does cost more but with the incredible sound as well as the Bose reputation and warranty, you can not go wrong. This is one heck of a speaker packed into a small package! Never again will I let price dictate my choice..

I love this speaker! It is very easy to pair with and it has awesome sound. The battery seems to last forever as well!
