I bought the Bose Soundlink Mini for a better sound from my laptops. I got what I expected -- a great sound from this small box! Wire and bluetooth connectivity too! I paired it with my Macbook Pro on bluetooth, and listened to the Allman Brothers Jessica track -- improved response across the bass to treble when compared to the built-in speakers! I have just ordered the carrying case from Best Buy as I know I will take it on my travels.

They sound quality of this blue tooth speaker is exceptional. It was very easy to hook up to my cell phone and my iPad. It is extremely portable so I use it in my golf cart when playing golf or fishing in the neighborhood. The battery life is also very good. I have used it for about 6 hours so far on its initial charge and haven't had to recharge it yet.

Purchased one last year and it is so good that I purchased another as a gift. Great sound from a compact speaker system. This is a nice item for any music lover. Great product as expected from Bose. Worth the money. It's portable and holds the charge for days. Loud enough for any room and clear crisp sound. Easy Bluetooth connection to phone. It's made of metal and nice quality. Comes with cool flat charging base. Great buy!

I bought this because a friend of me had it and I couldn't believe how well it sounded. I fell immediately in love and decided to purchase it. I am rally happy with this. It is so small it fits pretty much anywhere you want to place it but despite of being so tiny the sound quality and deep of bass is insane. Usually people come to my house and ask where the music is coming from and they cannot believe when they see something so small can sound so deep. It is also very portable and having not only bluetooth and headphone jack in makes it more versatile. My only critic is that it cannot be paired with other speakers. It would be ideal if these little ones could be paired between them to be able to multiply the sound. Also, this doesn't have a remote control

My el cheapo blue tooth speaker died on me. I thought it was pretty decent as it sounded good and at the time I found it on a clearance rack at another store. We did not use it much at 1st, but then over the next 2 years it became something we used quite a bit. It was awesome to have a portable speaker while doing work around the house. As el cheapos do...it died. We found ourselves in the market for a new speaker. I went to Best Buy and asked the sales rep for help with blue tooth speakers. He was very helpful. He showed me everyone they had. A lot of them were very nice. But I kept going back to this speaker. It's feel. It's size. And of course it's sound. (on sale too!!) I cannot be happier. This thing is amazing! It sounds awesome! Now if you are looking to fill a stadium with awesome sound with this speaker...well you have bigger problems! But for everyday/normal usage you cannot go wrong with this speaker. It sounds awesome. Even outside at our fire pit it sound like so much more than you would expect from a speaker this size. I am not a huge tech head nor do I have music producer ears. If you are that type, you probably have the equipment you want and wouldn't think about this speaker. But if you just want a great speaker with amazing sounds for day to day use, I don't think you can find better for the price. Side note: I get better distance with the Ipad then I do my android phone. Ipad I have had 2 rooms away and still got great reception. I could only go 1 room away with my phone before it got a little choppy. Hope this helps!

Awesome sound quality for its small size, ease of carrying it around, works like a small home theater for small rooms. :)

This speaker sounds much bigger than its actual size. Very attractive addition to our kitchen. It's nice to be able to pick it up and take it somewhere else without the wire attachments. Seems to run a long time just on the battery. Connects quickly with my iPad, won't let me attach another speaker with it though. Don't know if that's due to the Bluetooth speaker, the sound bar on the TV (I tried) or the iPad.

After graduating from four years of college as a mechanical engineering major, I purchased the Bose SoundLink Mini as a graduation gift for my best friend. Throughout my studies, I had been using my UE Boom and UE Megaboom for my portable sound needs. However, I decided that my friend would prefer Bose because of the brand and because she already owned other Bose products. After unboxing the Bose SoundLink Mini and charging it up with the included charging base, I paired my iPhone 6 and played some music. I was very surprised by the bass output of this speaker. While the volume wasn't as great as my UE Booms, the bass from this little speaker and the sound quality seemed better. Overall, this is one of the best speakers you can get for the price. For indoor use, I would choose the Bose over the UE but for more active people like myself, one might want to consider the durability of the UE bluetooth speakers.

The Bose Soundlink is a great speaker. It is very compact. The sound quality is very good. I paired it with an iPhone 6 and it works flawlessly. Lasts a long time on a charge. I wouldn't hesitate getting another one of these

We use our Bose in the trailer when we're camping and at home for portable sound with our iphones. The sound is better than any other bluetooth speaker we listened to. Great solution for traveling. We even use it in the truck right now since we are waiting to upgrade the radio/cd player/sound system in our older Dodge. This model has great tones and amazing bass for its size. Good purchase.

This is the third Bose SoundLink Mini that I've bought for gifts for others. It is small, easy to use, has great sound. I'm especially impressed with the bass frequencies that it produces. I would recommend this for anyone looking for great portable sound whether it's getting ready for work, at work, on vacation, or by the pool. I also suggest getting the travel case that's not included.

My first Bose and i am so happy with it. the sound is increasable! It can fill a room. I actually use it in my car as a stereo and stream from my phone. Easy to connect to bluetooth and easy to bring with you. Highly recommend this product if you want to buy a reasonably priced bose you will NOT be dissatisfied. Sound quality is more then i expected! So very happy with my purchase!

I got to admit I was a little hesitant in the beginning to buy this because $25 I thought was excessive for a cover. But then again if I was willing to spend more than $150 for a Bose speaker than $25 more wasn't a stretch. Aside from the challenge of putting it on, I love how it looks on my speaker and the visual pleasantness. Its a good product I recommend it A+

After being in recording studios, playing guitar and singing for years? I wanted the best portable speaker. I listened to friends different brands and went to Best Buy to "sample" them all. By far, the bass, volume, clarity and overall tone was hands down the Bose. Compact, portable, cool charger, and long life lithium....I never looked back. Love it! Will fill up a room too!

Bose has done it again. For the price, it's the best. For its size, it's the best. Nothing else compares. This thing produces very rich sound, plays for hours, small enough to travel with and has a magical bass response. AMAZING!!!!

This little speaker will surprise you! Other speakers sound good in mid-range, but the upper range can be tinny, and the lower range can be non-existing. The Bose offers an upper range that is clear and solid with a lower range that is a smooth and clear - nothing "growling" or muffled. Even when it's turned up loud, it's very clear. This little speaker doesn't sound little! I listen to a variety of music from classical, acapella voice, jazz, quartet singing, and contemporary music and I enjoy listening in my office, in my sewing room, in the kitchen, in the living room, and on the go. I am very very happy with this speaker. When I first opened it, I was surprised at the weight and how sturdy the speaker feels. It's a solid little speaker, and it's small enough to put in my bag and take it with me when I go study at the library. Nothing frail or dainty about it. The bluetooth works with my iphone and ipad without a hitch. Super easy to connect and remembers the last device. You cannot talk through the speaker, but when the phone rings, the Bose speaker pauses itself while you talk on the phone. Once you hang up, the speaker resumes playing. Don't waste your time trying to compare others to the Bose - if you can afford it, get the Bose and you won't regret it.

This thing rocks! This is the second one I have purchased, this one for my son. The Bluetooth picks up from any device we use, phone, IPad, whatever. Great range in sound from the highs to the lows. Battery life is good and it has a quick recharge. You won't be sorry you spent the money on this thing. I think this one sounds better than the bigger unit.

I went to my local Best Buy with every intention of buying the JBL Charge. Being a diligent researcher, I elected to listen to all of the demo units. The JBL sounded good, significantly better than the Ultimate Ears Boom which was a disappointment. As a former live audio engineer, I have always had an aversion to Bose products because of their over-sculpted sound profile. But at the behest of the Best Buy associate, I listed to the Sound Link Mini. Immediately I knew which device was going home with me. The sound is full and well balanced. The Mids are clear and crisp, the Highs are pronounced but not over powering or piercing. The Lows are accentuated, but not to the point that the overall balance is altered. My only 2 complaints about this unit are the lack of a controlling app when connected via bluetooth. I would welcome the ability to adjust the volume from the connected device when across the room. And, the fact that the audio is sculpted by the device which negates any EQ performed by the connected media device. This is not a studio monitor. It is however a wonderful desk, speaker for enjoying a full range of musical styles.

I bought this speaker for my mom and she absolutely loves it. Has good dynamic range and clear sound. Loud enough to be heard all through the downstairs. Took it outside and listened to it for hours and didn't need to be recharged. It's small enough to take just about anywhere. Liked it so much now I need to get one for myself.
