My family has a couple other bluetooth speakers, the Jawbone Jambox and the original bose soundlink. This speaker beats the others hands down. The mini has it all, small size, loudness, and above average bass. The above mention products are good, but are not as well rounded as the mini. It is expensive, but worth the extra cost. I have not regretted this purchase, and I can't say that about the others.

Bought one for my daughter and one for my son for Christmas. The sound is fantastic. They use them at home for their music source but they crow most about the music on the go. Out at the pond to play ice hockey the music could be heard everywhere. Brought to get togethers - 4 other friends could add their music to the mix via blue tooth connection. A hit everywhere. I may have to get one for me!

My wife bought this for me as a Christmas gift after I gave her recommendations for a lower cost speaker. I was surprised she went for the Bose. She said she listened to this Bose speaker in the store and said it was the best one. I can tell you, this little guy sounds great. I kind of blows my my mind how good the sound is, especially the bass, from such a tiny little box. The build quality is excellent and the charging dock is very convenient. There are are few negatives though 1. The Bose speaker can't be charged off USB. But the charging current required is more than USB can provide. The included "Wall Wart" charger is VERY compact and well designed. So, it is not much an inconvenience. I use the dock so it is a no brainer. Also, the speaker does not require the dock to charge. There is a place to directly connect the charger. 2. If somebody calls me on the phone, i can't use the Bose as a speaker phone, like some of the other competing products. But, i would rarely use that feature anyway. If a call comes in, the speaker simply mutes itself so I can pick up my phone and answer.

I can't believe this little Bose speaker has so much rich sound coming out of it!! I have been wanting a small portable speaker and Im so very happy with this one- it's small enough to toss in my purse and has big rich sound like a much larger speaker. My friends were amazed when I played it for them!! I highly recommend everyone to try this speaker......you will not be disappointed!!!

I bought this for my husband after someone at work was showing off a speaker that played music on his phone. I went straight to Best Buy that evening. The sound is very nice--it's a Bose-- and the small size and portability are nice. We have some "cold" spots outside--not sure why--but we can usually find a place to put the speaker. If it is right near the iphone, it works great!

The Bose Soundlink Mini is the smallest device I have found with such full sound! It is portable and easy to use! I use it in the bathroom while in the shower and it is clear with no distortion even when turned up to compensate for the water or even my razor. I compared different similar devices in the store and the Mini sounded better there and did not diminish when home. GREAT PURCHASE!

Travels well, goes with carry on luggage, good battery life and sounds great

Bose can not be beat for quality of sound, this is the fifth Bose Sound Link Mini we have bought, we have bought this item for the whole family. The the size of the Bose Sound Link Mini is transportable and does not take a lot of room when you a re traveling. Connecting to Bluetooth is easy and rapid. I would recommend this product to anybody who enjoys quality of sound.

I keep this in our bathroom and probably have it on 20 minutes a day and the charge lasts just over one month. Sound quality is good. I like the compact size given the location we are using.

I tried another brand of bluetooth speaker system. I could never get it to connect reliably, and it was large. I finally took it back and bought this Bose unit. It is so far superior to the other unit, even though it is more expensive. It connects easily, and the sound quality is amazing for such a small unit. It seems well constructed, and really worth the extra cost.

Small and portable but gives great sound. No issues with pairing iPhone.

This is the perfect companion for listening to music in a hotel room while traveling, or just sitting in the backyard by the fire pit with friends. This small speaker has such full, clean sound. I have only had it for a little over a month but have had absolutely no problems with it so far.

This thing is incredible. In the literal sense of the word, even. The sound coming out of this small box is insane. Now, you won't be able to fill a club with sound with this thing, but quality and volume levels are nothing but astonishing, considering how small it is. Honestly, if you're not an HiFi enthusiast, this might be all the speaker you might ever need.

As with many others, I purchased the soft cover because of the fear of damaging the aluminum case on my Soundlink Mini. They are very well made, fit great, and allow access to all of the controls on the unit. The fit is very snug, to the point where it's almost difficult to get on until you figure out the technique. Once it is on, the speaker is well protected.

By far the best sound in the small BT speaker category. Sound quality can compete against much larger speakers. For discrete portability, ease of use and quality sound at a fair price, compared to competition up to $150 mark. This is the best you can get. However if your inclined to bigger sound and longer battery life, spend the extra $100 for the Bose Soundlink III.

ex wife got the Soundlink II in the divorce and that unit sounded great. So I was shocked by how great this unit (half the size) sounded! Probably the most expensive "impulse buy" I have made...took it on a trip and used it to rock out in the hotel room. Now sits on the kitchen counter where I use it most of the time unless traveling. Amazing little speaker.

Great sound, size, & battery life. Lives up to the Bose standards.

I can use this with my iTunes on all my devices and take it wherever I go. I use it with my iPad in my kitchen when I am cooking, with my computer in my bedroom when I am working and on my terrace with my iPhone relaxing alone or with friends. I also take it from my city apartment to my country house. It may be small but it's sound and convenience are big!
