Love the Bose speaker, has great sound, size adequate for travel also, you can take anywhere

Prior to purchasing the product I did a a investigation into like products. I found the Bose Brand to consistently received excellent reviews. After purchasing this product I was not disappointed. If I could add only one extra thing to this speaker that it does not have, it would be the ability to answer calls on the speaker via Bluetooth as you're able to and many other speakers like this one.

Very convenient. I can bring it anywhere I want to go. Space-saver too. Great product!

Speakers have a great sound quality for a portable/ bluetooth speaker. Easy to use.

Sound quality is good,even at high volume. Build quality is good. Mine is replacing the original jambox and this outperforms the jambox in all acoustic ways. Where it falls short is in mix. The jambox was never loud, and bass could be pumped up by turning the jambox to face a solid surface, bouncing the sound extended the bass. There is no such "trick" to diminish the bass on the Bose. Sound quality is good, but the bass simply overpowers - and there is no way to turn down the bass. Then there's the power cord, it isn't miniUSB, it isn't anything other than a Bose proprietary connector. My jambox shared a cord with my windows phone and my Kindle, now I get to carry another power cord. Of all those tested, I liked this one best for sound quality, I just wish I could dial back bass a bit.

The SoundLink III sounds great. Lightweight and easy to move around. Amazing bass for such a small device. I use with and IPad and also with an IPod Touch.

I purchased several lower cost products as the Bose seemed over-priced. At the end of the day I went back to the Bose. It has superior sound quality along with good size and weight for moving around the house and out camping. Do pay attention to the recommendations on where to place the unit, it has an impact on sound quality. Obtaining from Best Buy was a challenge. They did not have them out on the floor and I had to prove via my phone on their website to encourage an employee to go in the back to retrieve on of the 8 they had in stock. It also was very painful getting the attention of an employee.
