This portable Bluetooth speaker sounds awesome. Great lows and highs that are soothing not annoying. Plays for a very long time, picks up signal from a long distance, and is built like a tank. The only thing I could ask for is more control on the unit, like a pause and forward. Other than that it's perfect.

The sound resounds with bass; a sound that notoriously comes from only tower-sized speakers, yet it keeps the trebles integrity, as well. I read people undermining the treble in their reviews. It is not alterable, there is no equalizer options, this is true, but it hits the highs admirably, and with no distortion at higher volumes. The flexibility of a power source battery that lasts as long as it does is also noteworthy to me. It sounds better than my Samsung $500 dollar curved sound bar speakers for my TV. I just keep it plugged in most of the time to save power on the rechargeable Lithium battery, but when I want to transfer it, It travels a good 30 ft. from the source...and does it effortlessly. It sits firmly as well, which was one of my concerns , at first. But now that I own it --I LOVE IT!

this is a great lightweight portable device which lasts about 15 hours on one charge and sounds pretty darn good! Sound dock sound quality is better but this is great for the size and lasts many hours longer than the sound dock does...

Terrific sound as Bose always delivers. Easy to connect with Bluetooth and battery seems to last 5 to 6 hours at a time with full volume. Would have given it a 5 star rating but as with all Bose Products they are pricey.

Don't let the size of this thing fool you. The sound is so crisp and clear you'd think it's from a full sized set of high quality sound system. One of the best purchases I ever made. The Bluetooth connects without a hassle and the battery lasts a very long time. You won't regret it that's for sure.

I initially purchased a Beats Pill, which was ok but I wanted a more powerful and rich sound. So I purchsed the Bose Soundlink III. I am able to get a louder and more powerful sound. Using it with my iPhone I can elect to turn off the iPhone equalizer to allow the Bose to control the sound, or select the many iPhone sound options available depending on the type of music I am listening to. I love the fact that you can take it anywhere and that there is a cover you can purchase to keep it protected. Once fully charged, you can use it for hours without charging again. It has an automatic shut off when it is on and not used for a while as well. This is a great feature that keeps you from having to charge it often. I would recommend this product , particularly for small or confined spaces, such as an office. However, I've used mine in open spaces and it still sounds good.

I bought this Bose Bluetooth speaker to use in the house during the winter and out by the pool in the summer. Connecting my iPhone to this speaker was a piece of cake! The sound is incredible, but I would expect that from any Bose product. Great sound and a great price!!!

Not only do you get that great Bose sound, you also get a small speaker that can fill a meeting room with sound. I used it for music on a retreat and even in the gym this sound spread to every corner! I love it! I also use it around the house or for my granddaughters music. It's so small you can take it just about anywhere.
