This one has required two updates with no warning other than it quits charging. In my opinion, for the money you pay for Bose, there are other options out there with good quality that are less expensive and less headaches.

Firmware updates are sometimes required to provide new features or enhancements to the products. Occasionally bugs are found long after release so these updates can patch those issues. Remember. At the lower end of volume, it just sounds so good providing you with an excellent audio experience. Battery life is super long, and the water resistant makes you feel a little more comfortable if you take with you on your adventures.
