A more realistic price and it probably would be 5 star. There are other speakers of similar quality that are cheaper.

I run it for about an hour at Max or almost max volume and it eats up battery - according to the device it usually is down to 70 percent or so after one use like that. It is powerful, so I guess that's the trade off. If the battery lasted a little longer it would be an easy 5 star product.

However, I have issues with an occasional disruptive noise that sounds like static, even though I keep the speaker far from other electronics and metal articles, and within the recommended distance range. The noise can be so bothersome at times that the only way I can resolve it is by resetting my laptop. Besides, I cannot regulate the volume on the speaker, I can only regulate it from my laptop. As I am disappointed, I will take it back to the store after December 25th. It is still within the period for returns. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

I am glad to hear that you like the sound quality of this speaker, but I am sorry you are having intermittent audio issues as well.
