Overall very impressed with the sound. Outstanding bass and sharp mid range and treble sounds. Start up is a breeze and of course it's wireless and rechargeable so two other major pluses. Nice size and weight also. Perfect speaker to take absolutely anywhere. Very highly recommended.

There are many things to like about the Soundlink: - It is easy to set up and use. - Bluetooth connections were almost instantaneous and stayed connected. - It has a solid feel. The quality of the materials and build is obvious. - It is portable. I carried it around in my soft-sided briefcase. It is not too heavy to carry to those video conferences, wherever they may be. - The app adds some interesting features such as a handy Auto-off timer, choice of voice prompt languages and a visual indicator as to how many Bluetooth devices are connected. Where I found it lacking: the sound is very good, but not great. I found two drawbacks with the sound: distortion at the highest volumes and the bass is not what I expected. The sound is great for voice calls but doesn't enhance my enjoyment of bass-heavy classic rock music. The music would start to "clip" at around 80 dB. Keep in mind this speaker is only 6" tall, so it is "punching above its weight class." This device fills the gap in between "tinny" low-end speakers which deliver unsatisfactory sound and larger or more expensive wired speakers. Overall, I really like the ease of use and portability. It may not fill a concert hall, but it will do very nicely in a small office, garage, bedroom, or similar environment.

Sounds great and very easy to link to my phone. I like the 360 degree sound, it fills up a room or outside area with even sound. It’s a little expensive but I’m always happy with my Bose speakers so, I in the long run I always end up feeling good about it… been using it for about a month and the only issue I’ve had is, sometimes when I link up the volume seems to be stuck at a lower end ( and I can’t adjust it,, I have to unlink and relink and everything is fine ( this could be a user error on my end but, overall I’m very satisfied with this speaker)

This is my second Bose Revolve speaker, and they are amazing devices to have around the home. My original Revolve is my “singing in the shower” speaker, and the new one was for traveling and camping. With a longer battery life and better water resistance, it’ll be perfect for a relaxing weekend by the lake. These also work great with portable projectors as an on-the-go sound system for movie night while camping. Just extremely versatile. Sound is the same great quality you’ve come to expect over the decades. It doesn’t disappoint. My wife and I enjoyed our favorite tunes this weekend as we prepared the yards for the new spring season. Music was crisp and detailed, and the sound could be heard from anywhere in the yard. An excellent piece of engineering.

I really like Bose products. They make some fantastic devices with some really great sound. I've been excited to get this as it's the first bluetooth speaker I've used by Bose, and sadly I'm not sold on it. Presentation is great, the packaging is typical Bose and makes you feel you have a quality product. In the box you get your usual paperwork, the speaker and the USB cable. Basic but that's everything you need. Now this biggest flaw on this speaker is how it charges. At $200 and it being 2021, Bose have used a micro USB input. I just don't understand why they would do this, especially with the premium price point. Micro USB is outdated and can be inconvenient when having to carry an extra cable because your USB C won't work. For me this is a major let down and one I really don't understand. Build quality is very very nice. It's very solid and has a good weight about it. The base has a rubber ring on it which keeps it in place no matter how loud you listen to the speaker. On top you have your various controls that are coating in a soft touch rubber which makes it easy to hit the buttons. The sound is just ok. I've listened to many other speakers at less than half the price of this one and find that they have better sound, a more full sound and better low end. Don't get me wrong, the sound is crisp and clear, instruments come through really well and voices are nicely separated, but considering the price, it's lacking for sure. Overall it's a decent speaker but at the price point I think you have quite a lot of better options that offer better sound, connectivity and price.

This Boss speaker is definitely a solid little piece of hardware. Most of the weight is at the bottom, so the unit won't blow over in strong winds. Though I didn't have an opportunity to test it in the rain, it didn't have any issues in freezing temps. The battery seems too be good for over 10% per hour, coming in at the expected ~13hr range. It seems to charge pretty quickly too. Also note that there is a thread connection available on the bottom, presumably to be able to place these on a speaker stand of some sort. The sound seems to come from everywhere, which is good as you don't have to worry about direction/placement. The unit can get very loud if need be without distortion, however in general the sounds can be kind of throaty - nothing comes across super clear. I didn't get punchy bass, or high trebles. I think the intended use in an outdoor setting, this would be fit to purpose, especially if you have a couple of units that you intend to fill a large space with sound (you can synch multiple speakers with the Bose Connect app). The Bose Connect software was easy to find/install from the Apple Store. One thing to note, that when I ran the initial upgrade process, this took over an hour. I'm not sure why, as it shouldn't have been a download speed issue (300MB broadband). After that initial hiccup though, the marriage between the app, the speaker, and my phone has been great. The app picks up other apps (Amazon Music, Audible) that are using the speaker, allowing you to control them from it instead. You can also power on the speaker via the app simply by connecting to it, however for some reason you can't power it down - that's left to whatever timeout setting you've chosen via the app (the speaker will complain cheerfully that it's ready to connect when in this state). So far for me this has been a great addition to my home office, instead of having to wear a set of headphones to listen to some music, I can fill the room with sound.

I love it! I was seeking a portable speaker that had good sound quality both indoors and outside. The Bose Soundlink Revolve II is perfect for my listening pleasure.

I have owned many Bose products over the years, and always enjoy the sound that they bring; this new bluetooth speaker is no exception, featuring very nice sound, and easy portability. My main issues were with connectivity, both with the device and its archaic usb mini connection,(most Bose products use USB-C, why not this one?) and not being unable to connect to the bose mobile app at all. It took awhile to get a "normal" bluetooth connection to my Iphone 11 pro, but, not matter what I did, it would NOT connect to the Bose Mobile app. In spite of that, music did sound great when played through it, both inside and out, and I am sure a firmware update of 2 will help any connectivity issues. But putting Micro USB on a new, cutting edge product like this is not what I would expect from Bose. Either way, if you love Bose sound, and like the portability that this speaker offers, then go for it, you wont be disappointed.

I have several blue tooth speakers I never expected the rich and deep sound quality that came from this speaker. It is truly amazing. There is an app that installs on your phone making connectivity easy to manage. What I like about the phone app is access to the owners manual and easy troubleshooting.
