I now have two of these. For years I traveled weekly presenting around the country and I traveled with one of these to use in my presentations and in my hotel room for music. It has been banged up and dented in my luggage and still works perfectly. I recently purchased a second one so I now have one for travel and one strictly for the home. There is seriously no better speaker than this one.l

This is exactly what we wanted. Sound is great for house or outdoors. Not big or bulky. Charges up quickly.

We listened to at least five other brands before choosing the Bose; you never really know how in-store performance will translate to the real world. In fact, the Bose surpassed expectations. The sound is rich, full and true to the music. The only hassle has because of Microsoft Windows 10. That has long-known connectivity/sound problems the sales person didn't mention -- may not have known about -- but should have. Once that got straightened out, the speaker has been great.

Big Bose fan to begin with and I demoed several options on this size and price including JBL and Beats. Bose Soundlink has the best overall sound range and volume

It’s a nice Bluetooth system. Only reason I’d give it a 4/5 instead a 5 is because it doesn’t get as loud as I’d like. I live in a one bedroom apartment and if I have it in the living room I can barely hear it in the next room.
