360 degrees of Sound from Bose

This is the first speaker I have ever used that emits sound in all directions equally. After using for a while and playing with the app, I am very impressed with the ease of use, sound quality and portability of the speaker. Overall build quality - Coming in at around 6" tall, the speaker is easy to pick up and take with you wherever you are going, but has just the right amount of weight to not feel cheap. Like most Bose products, this speaker sticks with the Bose design philosophy with minimalistic styling so as not to be too intrusive in the room it is placed in. One interesting design feature is the included tripod mounting hole on the bottom of the speaker. This definitely allows for a lot of flexibility on where you can place this speaker in a room as you are not limited by where your tables, shelves, etc... happen to be located. However, I am guessing this is more for when you are having a party or if you are taking the speaker with you somewhere because I don't think most people are going to want to have a tripod mounted speaker as a permanent fixture in their homes. Sound Quality - For it's size the sounds quality is very good. The speaker is able to get very loud without noticeable distortion. Bass leaves a bit to be desired but, again, is decent considering the size. This speaker can easily fill a large room with high fidelity sound. App and Ease of Use - When the speaker is turned on, it will automatically pair with any devices it can find that it has paired with in the past - it will pair with up to 2 devices at the same time. If it does not find a recognized devices to pair with, it will immediately go into pairing mode. This is a very nice feature as you do not need to hold down any buttons for long periods of time to initiate pairing mode. The app is also well designed and shows which Bose product you are managing, which devices are connected to the speaker and allows you to disconnect devices as well. Volume can be controlled with buttons on the top of the speaker, or via the app as well. I personally prefer to use the app as it is easy to tell what the volume level is based on the slider position and percentage indicator. If you are playing music from the phone running the app, you can also see what track is being played and skip back and forth between tracks all within the Bose connect app. Bose's specialty has always been big high quality sound in a small package, and I think they used their audio engineering expertise to achieve a true 360 degree speaker that can fill a room with sound without any dead zones. This is a clear advantage over most other Bluetooth speakers out there.

Tons of sound, but lacking in the bottom end!

The mystery is finally revealed - The Bose Revolve Bluetooth Speaker is here and it is ready to wow owners with whole room or home sound! Easy to use, easy to setup, the newest speaker from Bose has tons of sound from across the sound spectrum, but can be lacking a bit in the bottom end if you are not using HD sound recordings. PROS - Enough sound to fill a room or a home! - Amazing quality of sound across the spectrum, you can hear every note and sound well - Minimal footprint - Wireless - Bluetooth - Easy Setup, Easy Connect - Solid, Well built - The must-have companion Charging Dock make for easy, no-nonsense charging - Quick charge, 1 hour to full charge CONS - Low end sounds can suffer with poor quality recordings - Only HD/Digital Recordings are recommended on this unit Battery Life still uncertain. Appears to be approximately 8-10 hours on complete charge with constant use, but this is only a guess based on 1 hour of use and 90% battery remaining. The only reason for 4 out of 5 star rating is the cost to low end frequency sound. I am concerned that not everyone will have access to HD quality sound recordings. Older non-digital recordings didn't have the same crisp sound quality on this speaker and lost the quality mostly in the lows... it got swampy and muddy. Yes, this was a result of the quality of recording, not the equipment, but when you pay for premium equipment you expect some correction for this as well, thus my rating. On everything recorded digitally, it was amazing! Enjoy!

I've been a big Bose fan forever owning a couple of headphones and TV soundbar. I currently have a Bluetooth Soundlink Mini that goes with me everywhere. The sound is amazing and it will fill an entire room. My only knock was that the sound is directional. Sound from behind was not as crisp and clear as in front. Not a huge problem but it works like most speakers delivering sound out in front. Now Bose kicks it up a notch with a great evolution of bluetooth speakers with the Soundlink Revolve! The Revolve is a rechargable vertical conical bluetooth speaker that delivers sound 360° around the speaker. It truly fills a room with great sound that you would expect from Bose. Pairing was simple and I was playing music in a matter of seconds. There are 6 buttons on top of the speaker: Power, Bluetooth, Aux input switch, Up Volume, Down Volume and Multifunction (which allows you to start, pause, next track, last track, and a mic button that you can use Siri). According to the instructions it's also NFC capable which since I'm connecting with an iPhone I can't test. There is an optional charging cradle that adds convenience to charging by setting the Revolve on the cradle rather than plugging in the speaker directly through a micro USB connection. I would suggest taking care when setting the Revolve on the cradle as I apparently accidentally touched the wrong contacts between the speaker and cradle and the speaker started emmitting a loud hum that I had to power off the speaker to get it to stop. Other than that everything works perfectly! The Soundlink Revolve replaces my Soundlink Mini in my backpack when I travel. Hats off to Bose for yet another great sound product!

Disclaimer: I received this product to use and post my views about the same. I didn't receive any money or any other benefit to do so. Also I am supposed to return the product once done with my review. About the product. Product build: Product has very sturdy build. Not so heavy, extremely portable due to small size and light weight. Won't recommend it using around swimming pool no water protect. Initial Setup: Ok so it speaks. It will tell you when it turned on, Bluetooth connect/ disconnect (along with device name, which it got connected to) Also tell battery percentage. These features are super cool. but sometimes its a bit annoying (it keeps on saying device ready to connect). Connecting phone to device was smooth, never experienced any connection drop. Sound quality: I loved the sound of this speaker. Don't under estimate sue to its small size. This speaker is good enough to fills a small to medium size room with sound. Thanks to 360 sound. No sound distortion at high volumes. Battery: Loved the battery. I used to 4 weeks now and had to charge it thrice with daily usage of 1-2 hrs. And no you cant use it as a power bank which would have been a good feature (I have a JBL charge2+ which does that). Over all: I think this product is a good value for money. Great sound , Google voice works well. awesome battery and extremely portable. You wont regret buying this thing. unless you want water protection.

Good sound in a small speaker

The speaker sound pretty good for it's size. I am no audiophile and don't really have an ear for details but I enjoy this speaker. It sounds better than my older JBL charge 2+ speaker and few other speakers that I have heard. The sound is real 360 degree and it easily fills up the biggest room in my house. It maintains the sound quality even at the max volumes (you would expect that from a $200 speaker :)). It sounds good even outdoor and in my backyard. It's small size makes it easy to carry. It holds the battery pretty good. I play it for around 30 mins everyday and I haven't charged it for almost 2 weeks. So both playback as well as stand by battery performance seems to be good. It's shock and IPX4 water resistant which means it can handle mild shocks and splashes. So, overall a pretty good speaker which sounds very good and easy to handle because if it's size and specifications (long batter life, shock and water resistance).

The BOSE name is synonymous with quality sound. This speaker lives up to the hype. At first, I was skeptical that this speaker would not meet my expectation of what a Bose's speaker should / would do. THIS LITTLE SPEAKER EPITOMIZES EVERYTHING THE BOSE BRAND PERSONIFIES! It connects easily and at a moderate volume level, I can jam out my entire house. It is LOUD and the highs are tight and lows are deep, simply amazing. My only negative would be the way the volume up works; I do have an older android. I turn the volume all the way on my phone and then on the speaker directly. Not cool but again, may just be my phone. What is cool is the speakerphone feature (works like an office conference call device). I love that you can put it in the middle of the room and my entire family can talk to Paw-Paw, with crystal clear clarity. I did down load the app but did not ever need to use it to connect to any device. I baby my device but the build is solid and heavy. That said I never plan to find out how durable it is because of my love for it. The unit sits nicely alone. I have the charging base as well and highly suggest this add on for piece of my mind stability and charge through use.

The Bose Soundlink revolve is an awesome bluetooth speaker. Unlike the older Soundlink model this one has a new circular standup design. This is great for a couple reasons. It takes up less space on the surface, the sound is 360 degrees, and it can be placed in something like a cup holder of a chair. In the box you get the speaker, a micro usb cable and and a power brick for charging. The pairing process was very simple after taking it out of the box you can simply power It on and select your language. After the language is selected you can go into your bluetooth settings and connect to the speaker. The battery life for the speaker is decent rated around 10 hours. Their is an optional docking cradle which will allow you to set the speaker on top of it for charging. It can be used while charging and then quickly grabbed for on the go. The speaker does have some weight to it but overall is lightweight and can easily be carried in a bag, My only complaint about it is that it does not seem to be extremely loud but for a speaker of this size it does what it is expected.

I am small but I got a mighty voice that will get your feet off the ground! The Bose Soundlink Revolve Bluetooth Speaker truly delivers the audio performance we all come to love and expected. This time the engineers at Bose was able to place all the features you need to stream your favor tune, in a speakers size that is not bigger than a 16oz bottle, and first time ever a true 360° room filling sound with deep and loud audio performance you can enjoy it all day long. But what I like the most about this speaks is not only about its portable sizes, the awesome sound it can reproduce and still kicking after 10 hours or more on a single charge, it is how easy I was able to pair up with my favor mobile devices with the Bose Connect Apps, with this apps I can easily manage my connection with the speakers, checking on update, and at any time if I need some help with how to operated the speaker, it provide a very easy to follow instructions for you to follow, excellent for those who are not so tech savvy.

I love how small this device is and how long it works on a charge. It is big sound for a small device that fits in your hand. It is great when you want to share your music with people. I put it on the table for breakfast or out in the yard when playing with my grandkids. Since anyone can connect and it is simple to switch devices they love sharing there I-tunes with me.

    Just another wireless bluetooth speaker

I had high hopes going into this so maybe my expectations were a little high considering this speaker was a Bose product. After unpackaging it, I initially noticed the small size of the speaker. It was very simple to set up and pair to my phone after plugging it in. A voice prompts you on what to do just like most newer Bluetooth speakers made by well known manufacturers. After pairing it I decided to give it a whirl and see what kind of sound it would produce. I have to say that I was not impressed; the low level sound that most Bose products are known to produce was not there and at high levels the sound was distorted. I listened to everything from soft rock, to EDM to hip hop to see if I experienced the same issues and I did. The speaker is convenient to unplug and move about. The sound does fill a small room since it does have directional speakers facing every direction and because of it's small size and mobility is great for outdoors, just don't expect to impress your guests at a party with it. I assumed Bose would jump on the AI bandwagon with it's latest technology to keep up with the competitors but that is not the case as this is just another wireless Bluetooth speaker. If you are in the market for one that is portable, chargeable and produces decent sound then this may be for you although at a Bose price point I would suggest shopping around.

It is so easy to connect this Bose Revolve Bluetooth Speaker; I connected this to an Apple product, the IPod, and to an android device, the Samsung Galaxy S7 telephone. It was so easy and seamless to connect this speaker to both very different devices. The speaker actually talks to you in whatever language you program it and tells you that it has acquired and connected to the device. My music started playing immediately and the sound was great. As you can see, the controls are on the top and use of this speaker is very intuitive, even for first time, non-experienced users. Great sound, easy to use, nice on the eyes, lots of power for good sound-what else would anyone want.

Pros: - Crystal Clear sound, like you would expect from a Bose product - Charges in an hour; lasts 15'ish (best estimate) - Aesthetically pleasing - Integrated with iPhone in seconds - My first Bluetooth speaker that does phone calls very, very well Cons: - Price - Bass really only works on solid surfaces that are large - No cover for micro-usb charge port; so maybe avoid dirty places Overall, this has been a great replacement to our former JBL. While the outright cost seems high, the investment in a Bose product, in my experience, is worth the money in the long run.

I couldn't wait to get this speaker and try it out I've heard a lot of Bose speakers and they sound amazing. I have to say i was a little disappointed in the sound not that great i mean if you are in the same room with it it sounds great but outside it's not so impressive. I mean the sound is good but it's better if you are inside the house or garage. The overall look is very nice and neat it is clean it does have the sound coming out 360deg out of the speaker so you can have it on the middle of a table and hear it very good. The app does really nothing for the speaker but lets you connect it or rename the speaker so you know you are connected to it. I have other speaker that sound just as good or if not better. There is a charging port on the back of it so you don't need the cradle if you don't want it. I really wish i could say a lot more about this speaker but i just can't.

Before settling on this speaker I read reviews for many models. I wanted something that sounded great through a variety of styles, but one that was also portable. I am a worship pastor, so much of my time is spent listening to music, but I don't always like having headphones on, and I don't want to disturb my friend in the office next to me. So I was looking for a speaker that had a full range of sound without having to be loud. This little speaker does it. I can clearly hear all parts, bass and treble, with ease. While it can get loud, I don't need it to be loud to comfortably hear all I need to. More than that, this speaker lives up to the Bose name with an excellent quality of sound. While it is expensive, and may not be worth it for everyone, For me and my situation it was a perfect solution.

I have always appreciated the quality and clarity of music play offered by Bose. This Christmas, my son's friend told me he was interested in buying a speaker. Ah ha! The perfect gift! He set it up in minutes and the beautiful sound streamed right out of it all around. Fantastic! He will be bringing it back to his dorm room after Winter Break and its portability will allow him to bring it anywhere for up to 12 hours of play on its battery life! Great quality, great sound, easy to use, portable, lightweight and powerful! What more could you ask for in a speaker? I'm over the moon with this purchase! Thanks Bose and thanks to Best Buy for carrying their wonderful products!

Bought this speaker a few weeks ago and my purpose is to have a descent computer speakers in my office. Hesitant about the price obviously if I'm just going to use it in my office, but I figured, if it doesn't deliver, then I can take it home and use it in my bedroom. Hooked it up on my iPhone's bluetooth and WHAM! I was blown away! The quality of music that this little bad boy delivers is out of this world. I was surprise that it delivers an excellent bass. Get this Bose speaker and you will not be disappointed! Now, I'm thinking about getting another one just for my bedroom. You'll love it because: - Quality of music - You'll be amaze at the bass - Easy to use. (My 7 year old son connects his iPad to watch YouTube) - Mobile - Price right

I am extremely happy with this little Bose speaker! I spend the greater portion of my days outside both gardening and working in my ceramics studio. The sound that comes out of the SoundLink Revolve as I drag it around the yard through the Elements, continues to amaze me. It recharges quickly (and holds a charge much longer than my Bose mini speaker). I wipe it down from dust and dirt without any problems, and often end up using it in the house (where there is a Bose sound bar option at the ready). No problems have presented with this speaker so far.

I’m not a Bose fan but of all the different devices available for me to listen to at the store this unit produced the best sound at different volume levels. Even better than the plus. Actually I went to the store to buy the JBL because I liked their sound...at least until I compare the two side by side. So why only 4 star and not 5? Well I’ve only used it a handful of times may 10 and it has dropped the Bluetooth signal 3 times, it’s paired to my iPhone 8 Plus. Also the rubber like material wrapped around the top...feels like it’s going to stretch and peel after a year or two. How would I know that after only having the until for like a month? Because it’s the same material they used on the wireless sport headphones, and I had those for 1.5 years and all of the rubber peeled off. Would I recommend this unit? Depends on what you want to use it for, how loud you are going play it and how clear you like your music to sound. If you want the best sound but Don’t mind that it’s not the loudest in the market then this unit is for you...and don’t buy the plus there is a lot of sound distortion at higher volume.
