It is amazing how well it sounds. Plays really loud and sounds Chrystal clear. Bass is great. Love the fact that it is portable. I take it everywhere. Great for party’s sounds like a big stereo system. It stays charged for a long time. And doesn’t take very long to charge. Hooks up easily to Bluetooth. Also can charge with the USB port. phone dead. Charge it with the speaker

I tested out a number of different portable speakers prior to buying this one, including the JBL Flip, the UE Megaboom 3, and the Bose Soundlink Revolve (the smaller, more affordable version of this one). This was by far the best sounding of the bunch, though also significantly more expensive than the first two. For a compact, portable speaker, the Revolve Plus delivered good volume, satisfying bass, and impressive clarity. It was a substantial improvement from the standard Revolve, which sounded hollow when playing sonically dense material. (My impression is that the standard Revolve prioritizes powering the high and low ends in these circumstances, causing some of the midrange to fall out.) I would actually recommend the cheaper Megaboom 3 over the standard Revolve, as it delivers the full spectrum of sound and has the advantages of longer battery life and improved durability. (However, the gap in clarity between the Megaboom 3 and the Revolve models is quite noticeable.) The important thing is to understand is what you want from a speaker and what you're getting here. If you want a wifi/bluetooth speaker that you intend to leave plugged in all the time, you can find ones with better sound quality. If you're willing to pay more and carry around a significantly larger device, there are other portable speakers you should consider. If you want a speaker that's ultra-durable, there are definitely better options out there (such as the Megaboom 3). If you want a speaker that you can easily carry around the house and listen to on your porch or back yard, this is a great option with impressive sound quality for its size. The only reason that I'd give it 4 stars out of 5 is that the weatherproofing could be better, the standard pricing is a bit high, and I tend to be stingy with my ratings.

he sound signature is excellent. It is deep and balanced while maintaining sufficient clarity even at higher volumes.Great sound, good bass, easy to use, and battery life is as advertised! The app has semi-control of the song you are listening to, depending on the app you are using. If using Pandora, it will show the song details at the bottom of the BOSE app. There, you can slide up the details and select pause/play or forward/skip. However, using an app that BOSE is not familiar with will show “unknown” as the song, and you won’t be able to control it (say, the WinAmp app). I imagine it will work well with most current web-based audio services. Volume can be controlled by the +/- buttons on the top of the unit or via the BOSE app. Overall, a great compact product that's portable, has a long battery life (~10 hrs), and sounds better than BOSE's other compact speaker systems in the Soundlink family.

This is a great speaker that has crisp and clear high beautiful mids and a good amount of bass. If you love your bass get the JBL xtreme(I own one) best bass in this price range. This thing gets loud I mean I can hear this speaker clearly in ever room of my two story home. Even at max volume it is perfectly clear. If your looking for a great speaker for the home you can't go wrong with this. Didn't like the look of the speaker at first but after using it for a day I realized how easy it is to move and carry around the house.

This is my 3rd Bose blue tooth speaker. Each speaker I have has it’s own purpose. This speaker is very light and I love the light grey color I purchased and the nice handle for transporting. Besides the great sound and looks the blue tooth range is unbelievable. My deck where I listen to most of my music is around 25 feet from my music source. That range is about the limit for my other two bose speakers. This speaker can be carried another 50 feet with out breaking up. So far I’m really satisfied. And also I can listen to it on low for practically all week without a charge. This speaker is a little pricey but like they say you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend this product.

Pros: Bluetooth, sleek design, light, and water resistent. Cons: Kind of expensive probably because of the name brand. For that price, I could have bought better sounding speakers with that price point. But it's probably going to be bigger

Received this for my birthday and I absolutely love it! The sound quality is superb, the volume is absolutely awesome. It's very portable, very easy to use and it's water resistant. Long batter life and very durable! This speaker is a definite MUST!

I looked at many Bluetooth speakers prior to this purchase. I read several tests/reviews from experts. The Bose Revolve + scored better than any other speaker. It has deeper bass than any other portable Bluetooth speaker but also retains good mid-range and high end sound. It can be played loudly with no distortion. The discovery and connection process is simple and dependable. This is a great speaker and worth the extra money.

I looked into several different types of outdoor speakers up to the max price of spending $600 for my backyard/pool area. I liked the quality and big sound of these little speakers and I like that they are portable. I carry them in and out when I'm doing work in different places in, around, and outside of my house. I actually bought two. Using the Bose app, I can listen connect my phone via bluetooth to one or both using two different modes, party mode (simultaneous sound) or stereo mode (left/right sounds based on song/music). Because they are lantern style, I hang them on a garden hook or on a tree limb and set up my music for chillin or working outside. Very happy with my purchase... can't go wrong with Bose. Highly recommend!!

Another great Bose product! I was replacing my old Bose Bluetooth speaker with this and couldn’t be happier. The 360 degree speaker sound is unreal and the handle along with the possibility to mount on a tripod makes this a go anywhere speaker. I use a strap to hang it from the roll cage of my off-road vehicle and it sounds great for front seat and back seat passengers at high speeds.

Purchased 1st one. Sounds much better if you place it near a wall or something to reflect the sound, and doing so also helps the bass. But it's still a mono source. So, I bought 2nd one and the result is easily 4X the music experience. The handles on top are awesome. I can grab both with one hand and take them to wherever we want music, such as dinner in the back yard. Together, they sound great! The app isn't exactly intuitive, but fairly easy to use once you watch the online video. If there's a step that seems to be taking too long or you get an error message, just give it a moment or two. Sometimes it's a little slow in finding your unit(s) and/or pairing them. And sometimes you'll get an error message, but then it quickly goes away. So far the app hasn't failed us, except on one occasion, and I'm not sure that it was the app's fault: On one occasion I had a problem pairing them. With much frustration, (since my back-yard dinner was getting cold), I went online to see how to pair them manually. While trying to find said instructions, my wife entered the house to let me know that one of them had just said, "Ready to pair." Which means that somehow it corrected itself. This incident is the ONLY reason it doesn't get 5 enthusiastic stars from me. It would be great if instructions for manually pairing them came in the box. Other than that, we really love our new, portable-music solution. They were a great hit at our 4th-of-July, back-yard party! And when it came time to move to the front yard to watch fireworks, I just grabbed 'em up in one hand and carried the music with us. Fireworks with music was a new and wonderful experience for us!

This speaker is awesome. Great sound quality. Easy to transport. Good battery life. We take and use this thing everywhere! You can't go wrong with a Bose speaker!

Amazing sound great size battery portable easy to set up and use I love it

I have over the years bought and tossed many speakers! This one here for me is the end all be all! I have never found a speaker with some much portability push out so much volume. Fact 1: my neighbors are well aware of what mood I’m in by the music I listen to. From spoken word from a podcast to some beat dropping dub step this is the only product worth it. Don’t forget the what I call the 360 sound. I’ve taken this speaker hiking, running and working out at the gym and it meets the challenges. Battery life 10/10 and the fact that it tells you who’s calling you to see if they’re worth interrupting your favorite jam is another plus. The best product I’ve ever bought.

I wanted a Bluetooth speaker, I was just going to get a cheap one, but, I went with my husband and he suggested the Bose speaker! I am so happy with my purchase. The battery is amazing! The sound is amazing! This speaker is 360 degrees and the sound goes everywhere! This speaker gets very loud too! I highly recommend this Bose speaker...

The sound that comes out of this little thing is amazing. Love how portable it is and the battery life is perfect. Try to catch on sale for an even better deal.

This is a phenomenal quality speaker if you're in the market. As someone who had used the UE Boom series prior, I can say this takes the cake. Even without a dedicated sub, this speaker kicks a ton of bass and feels like an immersive listening experience. Pick it up for some high quality tunes on the go, though it can be pricey.

I heard someone play the demo model of this device and I was sold on it immediately. The battery life is forever, the sound is great, and it gets loud. I use it daily to stream podcasts while getting dressed and use it on road trips for music in my hotel room. No complaints and no issues...worth every penny.

The sound quality is amazingly high, the battery will last all day, and it is easy to carry and mount because of the handle. I use this speaker everywhere - camping, the park, and for out door movie night. I bought a 2nd speaker to pair together and use them as an outdoor sound system when BBQ-ing.

It's among the more expensive options out there in its class, but after spending an hour or so comparing different units in the store, there was really no comparison in terms of the sound clarity, especially the ability of this unit to stay undistorted at high volume. The bass output is also surprising for such a small package. Love the design, which matches the finish of the iMac it sits next to most of the time. The handle is a great idea for carrying the item. I bought the charging base, which makes reduces cable clutter and futzing around with plugging it in. It was an expensive unit, but it seems like in this case you do get what you pay for.
