I had a Bose wired headphone, but it was broken after 10 years of use. Since I was so happy about its sounc quality I decided to gave Bose another try. I was hoping the sound quality would be same as my old headphone, just add bluetooth to be more convenient. However when I got the headphoe I immediately reallized the bluetooth version is not quite as good as my old wired one. It is very obvious that the base is no where near the old one. The mid and high frequency section is ok, but I still feel it is not as good as before. Also compared with another bluetooth headphone I tried (from SONY) the wireless range is shorter. (But it is good enough for everyday use.) The battery life is not very good. Need to recharge after 4 to 6 hour. Bose did very well in the following area: 1) It is light weight. This is really important if you wabt to wear it for more than 30 minutes. 2.The headband is perfect. It does not look as fancy as some other name brand headphones, not it is tight enough so that it won't fell off. At the same time it is not over tight, so that you still feel comfortable after long hours of wearing. 3. It can connect to two bluetooth devices at the same time. This is very convenient. You can use one for your phone, and the other for your computer. 4. Some people may not like the external bluetooth receiver, but I am ok with that. The function buttons are well designed, so that you can adjust volume, pick up calls, start / stop music very easily. In general I like this product. but just a little disappointed about its sound quakity at low frequency. Overall I think this is a very good bluetooth headphone.

I used to own Beats Solo wireless but the headband broke after 2 years of use. Now I'm giving a try to Bose wireless and it's a pleasant experience. Sound quality is great, they feel sturdier than the Beats and they're very comfortable to wear. The Bluetooth comes in a detachable device if you want to use the cord instead, which is about 5" long. The volume isn't the loudest and the bass isn't too boosted, if this is what you were expecting.

I am a longtime Bose user which is the #1 reason for buying these. The pluses: Clean frequency response, very comfortable to wear for hours of use, the over ear fit is great when walking down a noisy street because it actually took about 5 seconds to realize an ambulance siren was approaching. The minuses: Should be $100 less, bass is adequate, could be amped up, the max volume on a scale from 1-10 is a 7.5 which on the one hand is loud enough to listen to classic rock without causing hearing loss but won't be good for anyone under 35 who wants to impress their friends by how stupid they are trying to lose their hearing!

Must admit although I detest the pricey part of the overpriced brand Bose, the product is of sound quality. The sound quality is amazing with around the ear comfort unparalleled. The only drawback is that of amplitude. When the headphones are streaming through bluetooth it feels that its at about 70% of max volume compared to when I plug em in through cable (Glad such an option exists) That said it is thus far the best wirelss headphones I've owned.

The sound quality of these compared to my wireless Beats is vastly superior. The bass is not muddy and the highs (which were nonexistent on the Beats) are clear and realistic. The Beats reminded me of why people sometimes refer to headphones as "cans" because that's how they sounded: like I was wearing a bucket over my head. And the Bose are much more lightweight and comfortable to wear; the Beats exert a lot of pressure on the ears. Initially I shied away from the Bose because they aren't as pretty or fashionable as Beats, but it didn't take long after comparing the sound quality to choose Bose. I guess if you're concerned about projecting status and have owl-like auditory perception the Beats will be ok for you, but if you insist on hearing every nuance and feeling the energy in your music, as well as wearing longer with more comfort, then Bose is the choice.

I compared these to the other Bose headset with noise cancelling and to the Sony bluetooth with bass boost. At first, I felt that these would not have enough bass to keep me content, but after using them for a few months, I really like the sound I'm getting. Mind you, the Sony's gave me a headache after a short while so if you're a teenager looking for deep bass, don't buy these. But if you enjoy the sound quality and want to hear the sound as the engineers intended it, these are great. Bluetooth lasts a while and sounds is about the same with and without the Bluetooth adapter. Only weak point is the bag. I bought a Headphone Mate hard case for these.

Bluetooth actually works like it's supposed to on the iPhone. Battery life is good. Really light weight and comfortable. Doesn't make me want to take them off after extended wearing. Top 10 purchase for me. Keeping these!

Bose does an excellent job of making things sound the way they should, very balanced! Most comfortable headphones out there. Good range on bluetooth and battery life is good. These headphones are well made.

I am a computer database programmer and love listening to music while I write/analyze code. I have been very fond of earbuds simply because they provide quality music at high volumes without disturbing neighbors and they block out most external/environment noise. After fighting wires daily I started searching wireless options and purchased about 5 pair of the top headphones offering A2DP connectivity (to connect with my iphone and/or computer). I loved never missing a call since my headphones were directly connected to my phone, however it became inconvenient changing songs and volume on another screen (looking away from the computer). After testing the Sennheiser M550X, Logitech 9000, Monster Beats Exec, Bose AE2 and Bose QC15's... I really expected the Sennheiser to blow me away (priced highest at $500). But they didn't! I found myself reaching for the AE2's (wired version) more than any others. They were no doubt the most comfortable headphones compared to any I had ever tried, which was important to me since I planned on using these daily at work. Not only did these offer ideal comfort but they supply superb sound quality (I consider myself an amateur audiophile). However they didn't solve my wire frustrations... Then I came across these AE2W's and found the answer to all my problems! Connected via bluetooth to my Computer AND iPhone 5, I couldn't be happier! I never miss a call and found that connecting to my computer [for music management] has streamlined efficiency in my daily tasks for a much more pleasant experience! A++ Bose! If you can scrap up enough to afford these headphones I would highly recommend them!!

I had originally purchased Sony Bluetooth headphones, but return them after wearing them for just an hour, they were so heavy. These Bose headphones on the other hand were so comfortable and light. I can wear them all day with no fatigue. Thesound quality is good and I actually like the fact that you can take off the Bluetooth unit and plug in the headphones if your batteries going low.

I got these to listen to music when traveling on a plane. They are light weight and sound terrific. The Bluetooth and battery module (which is removable for charging or connecting a physical cord) is a bit awkward looking but not a deal breaker for me. i have been binge watching a few programs on Netflix and Amazon on my iPad recently so these are great in that by wearing them at night i don't keep my wife awake while watching. Connecting to both my iPhone 6 and iPad 2 was super easy...no issues. I haven't had much luck with trying to connect to my MacBook Air, but frankly haven't spent a lot of time trying...

Great sound with convenient controls on the left earpiece. Not noise canceling, but reduces ambient background noise significantly. Much more comfortable than in ear buds, with better bass. Bluetooth connectivity easy with Greta range. I've been more than 100 ft away from my iPad with no skips in the music.

I really wanted some Around the Ear Bluetooth Headphones so I could listen to my music, be free to roam around the house and block everything out while other family members were watching tv or playing video games. I went in store to "try on" what I thought I wanted and they felt clunky and uncomfortable. So, I started looking at other models and wondered over to the Bose section. Actually out of my price range but decided "hey, why not try them on" Instantly I fell in love with them. They were soooo comfortable and just felt amazing on my head. They sounded better than others I had been looking at also. I left the store and kept an eye on these and when they went on sale, I bought them asap. I listen to Dubstep occasionally and no problem with the bass. They also fold up really nice into the little bag they come with. Another bonus I wasn't expecting. I have extra room in the basket where I keep them to put other things. I love these and don't feel guilty about spending more than I normally would. No regrets !!

Been looking for a set of wireless headphone and these did not disappoint. Great battery life and good range. The sound quality is pretty good too. No overpowering bass, highs are just where they should be, but it could use a bit more in the mids. Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time and very light too.

Love the wireless connectivity, a bit looks like a character from Star Wars when wearing, but the sound is clear and crisp! I would kind of like it to sound louder, but it does sound great already! Can't hear a thing when listening at its highest level. Fits comfortably! Battery level so far is fine, it indicates when low and turns off when completely low. It comes with a wire if need be. Carrying the charging cable should be handy if your out for a while, I sometimes leave it on standby during work and it can lose juice, but so far it only happened once. I can wander around at home with one of the devices I have linked and have very minimal disruption when I'm away from the devices. Overall, a definite yes if you ask me to own a pair!

I bought the Bose headset and a Dre Beats headset. I preferred the Bose because it was a clearer sound (a little less base). The wireless feature is awesome...I walked through 3 stories of my house and had great reception. Would definitely recommend these!

Overall these sound great, these are light so they're really comfortable, they bend so you don't have to worry about them snapping. Could use a little more bass but overall happy with this purchase.

Purchased them for use while traveling to help block out the background noise while traveling by air. Accomplishes that task while being comfortable. Great battery life and sound quality.

After doing extensive research I decided on these blue tooth headphones and I was not disappointed. Quality sound which you expect from Bose and a very comfortable fit. They paired easily with my phone and tablet and the range of these headphones surprised me. They charge quickly and the carrying bag is handy. I bought these on sale and I am glad I did as I feel the only draw back is the price. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!
