Also had static sound over the movies on the plane. Very disappointed, expected better. The headphones my wife has from them, is far superior, though not Bluetooth.

Thank you for the review. We are sorry to hear of the disappointing experience you had with the SoundLink Around-Ear Bluetooth headphones. While they are great Bluetooth headphones, they are not noise-canceling. For that, we would recommend our noise-canceling headphones such as the QuietComfort 25.
You should not have had static from listening to movies on the plane though. If that is still occurring with other sources, please call us at 800-380-4831 so that we can provide further assistance. We are here to help Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 9pm EST and Saturday 9am to 7pm EST.
