Customers enjoy the SoundSport Free True Wireless Headphones for their excellent sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life. The charging case is also well-received for its convenience. However, some users have experienced connectivity issues, find the design to be bulky, and feel that the price is not justified by the product's performance.

Straight out of the package these buds look cool. The carrying case doubles as a charging port. Right away I think of how hard it will be to keep up with this little package. I dismis that excitingly removing the ear buds out and in to my ear. I noted they come with a total of 3 ear fitments. Small, medium and large. I used the medium and they fit. Push them into the ear and turn to secure in the ear. I jumped around, wobbled my head to see if they would fall out but all I got was a weird muffled noise, so I’m confident they won’t fall out while walking, running or playing. The buds are quite heavy. I actually don’t care for ear buds because they hurt my ear after a while, since these are heavier than the normal ear bud I found myself wiggling them around to adjust the pressure/weight of them. Howwwwwwwwever, the sound quality that comes from these buds are impressive for such a small piece of technology. You sit and listen in amazement that such a big sound can come from such a small device. So the size has a Pro and Cons. The charge life is pretty good. Syncing with my phone was easy as well. If these buds aren’t in your ear you have to place them elsewhere, they won’t hang anywhere, so don’t sit them down and walk off. I might lose them but I’ll try not to. Over all the sound is great

I bought these for running, so my review is based on a runner's perspective. I run 25-35 miles a week and try to do that year around.
The Pros:
1. Stay in my ears well. have tried many brands and these stay lodged in there better than most.
2. Great sound
3. Good battery life and they charge very quickly with their little case. Rated for 4 hours. I ran a slow marathon (cause that is how I roll) and they last the 5 hours.
4. They pair with several things. I use them with my iphone, my apple watch, and occasionally with my Surface. You can press a button and "scroll" through the devices with audio queues.
5. They take a beating. I sweat a lot. I run in the rain. I run in the snow. They just keep on going...MOST of the time. We will get to that in a second.
Cons
1. The button to skip a song is small and flush...I have a hard time keeping my stride and skipping to the next track. Only so much Eminem you can take on a 10 mile run.
2. There is no power button. Sometimes the pairing goes strange or something and you need to do a reset. The procedure is to put them in the case and then take them out again. I do not run with the case, so this is a disappointment when I start my music a ways from the car and they need a reset. Rare occurrence (and I think it often on the phone end), but frustrating when it happens.
3. They are not flush in the ear. Look kind of like Frankenstein bolts sticking out of your ear. I make them look good, but you might appreciate that.
4. Here is the weird one...When it is below freezing, and you have appropriate ear coverage that covers the ear and the headphone, they will cut out after 35-45 minutes. You just have to reset them by inserting in the case, and they are fine to go again, but it happens like clockwork in the cold. So, don't run in the cold for crazy long distances with them and you will be fine. I Have a pair of wired Bose I switch to for those days of fun.
This is my second pair. First pair lasted 2 years and I would blame user on their demise.
Be smart. Buy the Geek squad warranty. But also register them with Bose. Their support and warranty is top notch.

I have been using these headphone for a few weeks now. I have no complaints about the sound quality. It is very clear and powerful. Even the bass is really good for such small speakers. The convenient feature about these head phones are that they are sweat proof and comes 3 with different pairs of sport tips. It has up to 5 hours of play time with each charge. Given the size of these headphones, Its easy to loose these quickly, but, the good thing about the bose connect app is that you can easily find these using the find my buds feature. I have read in a few reviews that they are experiencing connectivity issues, luckily I havent had such issue. The reason why I gave a four star review is purely becasue of the form factor. They are very bulky and almost looked like something is hanging off your ear. Throughout my workout, I kept pushing the heading into my ears thinking they might fall off. Overall, I like the quality of the sound but not the form. I believe there are far better one in the market than these for a lot less cost.

Not a complete let down!!!
I have used BOSE products in the past. I have grown to love the "Noise Cancellation" feature and the great sound that BOSE headphones put out. When I purchased the wireless SoundSport headphones, I was already aware that these headphones did not have the Noise Cancellation feature, which is a disappointment, but makes a lot of sense given the amount of battery use noise cancellation requires.
BOSE SoundSport is great for sound, there is a bit of delay when going from song to song, as well as volume up and down, but despite what previous reviewers have said, it is not that big of a deal, and I am definitely not returning them for that reason. The wireless aspect is great. And most people aren't even aware that you are wearing headphones. You don't have to worry about wires snagging while running on the treadmill. Music can be changed by using the control buttons on the right earbud. I admit, I did have an issue with the headphones staying in my ear at first, but the headphones come with different size fittings. Previous reviewers say that they have experienced pain in the ear from wearing the headphones for long periods of time. I have worn earbuds in the past and I am used to the feel, so if you're new to wearing them, you may have to get used to wearing them.
Now for my favorite part: When charged, the BOSE SoundSport wireless headphones holds a charge for about 5 hours, which I thought was a complete let down until I discovered that while charging the headphones, this futuristic case that BOSE provides also charges itself. So when you put the headphones back in the case to rest, and whether you plug it in or not gives the headphones at least 10 more hours of charge. Too me, thats awesome, because I am always on the go. So far I have used the headphones for about five days straight, and every time I check my headphones are at 100 percent of charge, and I haven't plugged it in since the first day.
I was a little overwhelmed with the price, and the also overwhelmed with figuring out the headphones at first, but get used to the things you buy before complaining, especially this product. Bestbuy has a return policy. Don't return them on the first day just because you are overwhelmed with the price.
One thing I did not like was that one ear disconnected, but with one push of a button it fixed itself. The headphones are definitely not perfect, and neither are we. I haven't had to call customer service. Bose has great customer service...

Bose quality, questionable convenience and fit

The Bose SoundSport Free Wireless Headphones are basically two separate earbuds, they are very similar to the Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones (which has a wire between the two earbuds). Both versions connect via Bluetooth to your device. They sound identical, functioning the same as the version that is wired between the buds. These earbuds deliver the traditional Bose clear, crisp audio with good volume. I feel like they fit in your ear awkwardly, even with using different earbud sizes provided, they are what I would consider somewhat top heavy. The lack of a wire does not provide as much of a convenience as you would think. Although I have to admit that similar to the Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones these earbuds are quite big and feel that way in your ear. If there is a downside, it is the size, occasionally it will feel as they could fall out of your ear. I have used wireless Bluetooth earbuds before that are smaller and feel more secure in your ears, not sure how these would hold up during a spirited run. The earbuds come with their own case which is necessary for recharging, it a also a super way to protect them. However if you forget the case I don’t really see a way of charging them. As with other Bose models these are sweat and weather resistant. Overall I like these earbuds, however I am not sure I would pay the premium for the elimination of the wire between each of the speaker buds.
Pros:
- Traditional Bose sound quality and build
- sweat and weather resistant
Cons:
- Kind of big
- Could be more ergonomic (cannot lay your ear on a pillow)
- Case appears to be needed for charging
- pricey

I was looking for a set of true wireless earbuds that would be good to workout with. I wasn't expecting much from these when I got them, especially given Bose's reputation of only covering he mids as far as sound goes. At first look, they are huge, but they are surprisingly light and fit comfortably snug in your ears. I have worn them for runs/walks as long at 3-4 hours and find them very comfortable to wear. I do require the occasional readjustment, but I would expect that from any ear bud.
In addition to the comfort, I was surprised by the sound quality. These provide excellent full range of sound. As someone who enjoys the lows, these really are a nice set of ear buds.
The controls are primarily on the right ear bud. I find it easy to connect to phone calls when working out and listening to music with the middle button. Although, I did find it a bit odd that even with both ear buds in, phone calls only come through the right ear bud.
The ear inserts provide good seal to block out most of the ambient/surrounding noise without completely removing the noise. If you are a street runner, as I am, you can still hear enough ambient noise to pick up on traffic, hear birds or other animals, and carry on a conversation.
The storage case is compact and the magnetics ensure you get a good connection for charging.
There are a couple of items that took some getting used to, the volume controls were counter intuitive to me, with down being at the front of the ear but and up being at the back. The button are very firm and you really need to press firmly to adjust the volume or answer a call.
Overall, of the 5-6 different ear buds I evaluated, these are the one I kept and have been very happy with them.

Out of the box, I was impressed with these earphones and that doesn’t stop there. The carrying case is a very nice design. The case has you can see within the picture, cradles each of the earpieces and on the back, it has the usb port for charging. The pairing for each earpiece was a very simple process through the Bose Connect App. After the initial pairing, the earphones auto-paired every time I took them out of their case.
One of the features of the app I find very helpful, it has Find Your Earphones features. It stored the last location that I used them, and I could even make them chime if I misplaced them.
They hold quite well in my ears during heavy activity and it doesn’t requires much adjusting during activity as well.
The earphones deliver some really nice crisp mid and high frequency and it has a really “base” forward sound.

These Bose SoundSport wireless headphones are amazing. The sound quality was way better than I expected. You can hear everything and the bass is awesome. They last about five hours and you can click them back into the case for fifteen minutes and get another forty five minutes out of them. The ear piece clicks on and off and come in three sizes. The only issue I had was that I would need an extra small for my ears and I don’t think they have that size. They definitely will stay in your ear and they will not fall out. The seem sturdy and great for calls as well. I highly recommend these to anyone that wants the best in town cause these are it.

The Bose SoundSport Free earphones are expensive, but the design and operational details are better than any other pair of truly wireless headphones on the market. Solid sound quality. Perfect connectivity, no issues. Convenient charging case, decent battery life compared to similar products. These, for me, have a 1A ranking, slightly above a 1B ranking for Apple AirPods, given their water resistance and higher in-ear security during movement. The advantages that the AirPods do have is that the charging case is much more convenient to fit in a pocket and they connect effortlessly to Apple devices with their W1 chip.

So far I have not had any issues that I was worried about when I read other people's reviews. I watched different videos and there seems to be no delay whatsoever. I have own the Bose Soundsport Wireless (the ones that have a wire tethering the earbuds together) and if you like those, then you will love these new completely wireless ones.
They feel exactly like the Bose Soundsport Wireless in the ear and the sound from what I can tell is the same as well. I am not a audiophile so I'm not analyzing different songs to see the difference between listening with a 5/7 channel sound system.
I do have to say though, not having the wire connecting the earbuds is GREAT. Gives you more versatility. I usually can only have one earbud in most of the times because I'll also use my buds while at work and it's nice not having a wire at all dangling down or especially a wire with the weight of another earbud.
The case for the earbuds is top notch. Very solid and sturdy. It about the size of an aspirin bottle. When you push the button to open the case, it will shows little LEDs to give you status of the battery life of the case. Also LEDs to indicate that the earbud is inserted properly. They are magnetically secured in, so no worries of them falling out when you open the case. If they are paired up with your phone, as soon as you pull them out of case, they will connect and be ready to go. No need to do anything else.
Not really a con, but something to be aware of if only using one earbud at a time. There are only controls for volume and play/pause on the right earbud. The left earbud has a bluetooth button for pairing. Also, you can only take a phone call if you have the right earbud in because that is where the mic is located.
Overall, I'm really happy with this upgrade from the Bose Soundsport Wireless. The only thing I can hope for in future iterations is that technology allows for these to get a smaller profile so they don't stick out as much.

These were 99% what I was hoping they would be. I figured it was too early to go with this wireless technology but I work out a lot and sweat a ton and I am really burned out with wires of any kind - including the other “wireless” earbuds that still have that one wire connecting one bud to the other. The quality of the sound, especially the bass, is excellent. They buds gently lock in my ears. And the case recharges them which is hugely convenient because it means you don’t have to go plug them into a wall outlet after every workout. The only ding I have against these is that I wish they were just a little louder. Most people would probably be just fine with them the way they are. I personally love blasting music to what are guaranteed unhealthy levels. I used to not hear very well for a little while after my workout but that doesn’t happen with these. I’m guessing Bose figured out the maximum “safe” volume and I’ll probably be happy in 20 years when I can still hear. I’ve had these now for over a month with no issues. So far, so good.

Bose has done it again. Having been a long time fan of Bose products my expectations where high and Wow did they deliver once again.
Pros:
Sound is great, especially when listening to my music of choice salsa. Very clear sound and bass is awesome. Read several reviews of folks stating “no Siri”, I’ve had NO! issues when talking to Siri. Also read several reviews about YouTube videos not in sync with picture and there is a very small gap so small that had I not read those reviews I wouldn’t have been looking for those details and probably wouldn’t have noticed. They fit great in my ear hence my main reason I went with the Bose SoundSport Free instead of AirPods. My stepson owns a pair of AirPods so I gave them a shot for a day and they just wouldn’t stay in my ear, very annoying being that I’m a super active person. I even considered buying the ear hooks for the AirPods but was concerned with having to remove the hooks every time charge was needed and the longevity of the hooks doing this day in and day out. I’ve done a whole range of workouts with the Bose SoundSport Free from running, biking, lifting and these things just don’t move, just great fit for me.
They also have great range from device (20ft +-).
Cons:
ONLY REASON! I gave them 4 stars is the one earbud(right) only during calls.

On December 9th 2019 I received my bose soundsport wireless headphones. The packaging is beautiful and great quality. Inside the box was ofcourse the headphones and their charging case but also provided is the charging cable to charging you case, 2 more more sets of earbud replacements, one set for smaller ears and one set for larger ears. This was very nice to have as I could change out to not only a more comfortable fit but also a more secure fit that I didnt feel would fall out of my ears. The last thing included was the manual and a quick start guide. To start with you need to download the bose connect app. The app walks you though the use of the headphones and also provides a feature called find my earbuds. Something amazing to have.
Today is December 19th and iv had my ear buds alittle over a week, I AM SO INLOVE WITH THEM! They are so comfortable that I forget I even have them on. The sound is amazing. I love that the case has enough power to charge the earbuds multiple times before you have to charge the case its self. Since I had them alittle over a week I have only charged the case twice its self and only have the earbuds die on me completely once. The only complaint that come to mind is I cant get more then 30 feet from my phone before the bluetooth drops but that is a very small component as I'm hardly ever that far from my phone unless its charging. I would buy these headphones again and again!

These wireless Bose headphones are amazing. They come beautifully packaged and ready to use. I like to workout and I was having problems with my wired headset getting in the way. Bose is known for their great sound and these do not disappoint. I use them while on the treadmill and all the other equipment with no worries of them falling out. They come with StayHear+ tips that aids in keeping them in place. I cannot even tell the tips are there which is a plus. I mean who wants added discomfort. My only con with the headphones are that they stick out and don't fit in the ear. They can look a little awkward, but the sound makes up for this. The soundsport model is perfect for those that workout or do outdoor activities because they are sweat/weather resistant. The buttons can be a little stiff after you first start using them but they do start to work easier.
Battery life- I was about to use them for about 7 hours before they needed to be charged. The charging case they come in charges them completely in about 2.5 to 3 hours. I use them with my IPhone 7 with no issues. You just need to download the Bose app.
Bottom line is that they live up to what you would expect from Bose.

Prior to purchasing these headphones, I found the reviews to be dissapointing with issues of one earbud going out and bad connectivity, but these issues are clearly operator errors and not product defects. The unit comes nicely boxed and partially precharged ready to go. The volume outperforms the competitors and the quality is the typical bose sound with rich bass and clear tones. The only downside is taking calls and only having the left earbud functioning for phone calls. All other bose headphones allow for stereo phone calls, but not with these. I have tried the sony competitor version of the true wireless and bose truely wins in all aspects from size, battery life, connectivity, and charging case.

These Bose Soundsport wireless free headphones don’t disappoint they are awesome totally tune out all sounds even at the gym or walking my dog near a busy road. Although I’m surprised by the size of these they do come with 3 different size ear buds and they are very comfortable. While running on the treadmill I didn’t have one problem with keeping them in my ear that’s a big time bonus. I was able to use these while walking my dog and making some phone calls hands free that’s always nice. These are great price could be cheaper but the quality is amazing so I can see why they ask so much for these. They charge very fast and battery lasts longer than I would have thought they would. So long lasting batteries are a huge bonus. I would recommend these to family or friends. They also have a Bose app that can help you find them if you lose them. But that’s only if you download the app and enter the information it asks.

It's been so hard for me to find wireless headphone that actually stay in my ears. But these are perfect!! I feel like most are made for men and not smaller feminine ears. I used size small (it comes with 3 different sizes to switch out to fit your ears) and they fit perfectly. I've used these for so many kinds of activities: running, walking, weight training, even yoga. Seriously yoga and they stayed in for most of the poses.
Besides the fit the sound is outstanding. Nothing beats the sound of these headphones! Its hard to move from these to listening to the radio in the car or on alexa or anything else. It spoils you. The sound is perfect.
They also charge quickly, come with a compact carrying case, and have been the most reliable headphones I've ever owned.
This is a great buy for all lifestyles and if you enjoy quality sound you will not regret buying these!

I absolutely LOVE these! I had to switch to the smaller ear stablizers but once i did, i swear they dont move! Ive done running, jumping, flipping, catwheeling...they stay right in place even when im dripping sweat. The sound quality is top notch but of course its BOSE so it should be. They pair fine with my galaxy note9, never had an issue. The case is protective and even if it has lost all its charge the earbuds can still be 100% charged. I do find it a little difficult to open the case at times but i wouldnt consider that a big deal. The music is crisp and clear. It reminds me of being in a theater and the bass is awesome! I have small children so its really helpful that i can use just one earbud and still get the same experience as if i was using both at the same time. And if i decide to pop the other one in, the second i take it out the case it pairs up and joins in perfectly.
The only issue i have with it is the control buttons on the earbud itself. There are a ton of control capabilities with these and its great BUT the control buttons are very hard to actually push. I sometimes find myself shifting the earbud trying to push the buttons and it does get frustrating to have to reset it. I just switched to controlling the functions with my phone instead but...itd be nice if they could make it respond to a much lighter touch.
Still would buy them over and over again!

These Bose headphones are a great buy. The charging case is simple to use and convenient to carry. I especially like that the ear piece immediately tells you your charging capacity when first inserted. The Bose connect app is also easy to use and keeps track of all my Bose equipment. I use my headphones for running. I’m especially impressed with these as they do not jostle around in my ears making extra noise as I bounce through my steps. Also, the headphones do not move, so no risk of falling out of my ears, and no cord so sweat is a non issue. I was recently running in heavy winds and had no issues. The only thing I’m struggling to get used to is the fact that the headphones have a slight delay when pause is pushed on the right ear. I find that I press again to soon and subsequently end up pausing and immediately restarting whatever I am listening too. In spite of that, these are my favorite in ear headphones I have ever owned.
