Customers enjoy the SoundSport Free True Wireless Headphones for their excellent sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life. The charging case is also well-received for its convenience. However, some users have experienced connectivity issues, find the design to be bulky, and feel that the price is not justified by the product's performance.

    Amazing Earbuds

The Bose Soundsport Free wireless earbuds are amazing. From the time you place them in your till you hear the sound they produce. They fit comfortably and snuggly in the ear and can easily be worn during recreational and fitness activities. When paring them to your Bluetooth device it couldn’t be any simpler or quicker than Bose has made it. Once paired to your device the sound quality it replicates is far superior than any other earbud on the market. Specially better than Beats and Apple earbuds. The battery life is good for over 4-5 hours of usage, but they can be quickly recharged multiple times in the provided charging case. Thus allowing well over 20 hours of listening and enjoyment time. I like the fact that as soon as I remove them from the provided case they pair automatically with my Bluetooth device. It gets you up and listening to your music quickly. The microphone is very good when using them to make call and the buttons are easy to operate and reach on the earbuds. They have great range from your device before the audio or music starts cutting out. The only downside I have with these headphones is if you place your hand over the right earbud the left earbud will go mute, but how often does a person walk around covering their earbuds with their hands. I would definitely buy these again and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a superior set of wireless earbuds. They are well worth the price.

... Bose® - SoundSport® Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black, which I previously purchased, loved (& reviewed), but ultimately returned (was mad that BestBuy wouldn’t give me my 10% birthday coupon back to use after returning the item it was applied to after returning it since it didn’t work). I got Apple Air Pods (although I wasn’t a fan of the regular Air Buds) directly from The Apple Store! Ended up returning those because 1) very uncomfortable if left in ear for long periods of time (even hurts well after you remove them), 2) only 2 programmable feature w/o buttons versus traditional hard buttons to control all features, 3) not loud enough on train, bus, loud areas to hear voices (music wasn’t as bad). So I opted to get these since they don’t have the wire between the 2 earpieces like the Bose® - SoundSport® Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black I previously had (I like the idea to be able to take out of ear but still have them right there to put back in quickly instead of having to fish them out) but I found the dangling ends kept getting caught up in my backpack straps & my jacket (it was cooler then) which was annoying & I figured would end up damaging them faster from getting caught & yanked on. Although mad with Best Buy they’ve slightly redeemed themselves (had to omit why for length)! I also like these new Bose® - SoundSport® Free Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black (the only difference in name between the 2 is the addition of the word “Free”) so far for the same reasons I like the previous Bose® - SoundSport® Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black; except more so w/o the wire connecting the 2 ear pieces! It’s also nice that the hard case is a charging case versus having to have a charging cable with you (easily tucks into the smaller soft case) + carry a USB wall plug & find an outlet to sit by while charging them (never needed to do so while out & about, but if they had run down & I still needed to use them I’d have to have all that with me & waited for them to charge).

I bought these wireless headphones with reservation of whether or not they would stay in my ears. Boy do they! I had Beats by Dre earbuds, non wireless, for a few years, and the left one would stay in my ear pretty good, but not the right. No matter what I did, or how tightly I put it in, inevitably the right one would come loose. I use these when riding my road bike, bicycle, for an hour or longer at a time. With Beats, I had to use my helmet straps to pin the right headphone to my ear. With Bose Soundsport Free, no problem whatsoever. They stay in, nomproblem, every time. I'm also an Audiophile as I have Martin Logan floor speakers in my house. Sound quality for the Soundsport Free's are excellent. You can make it as loud or as quiet as you wish, and the clarity is very good. Battery life seemsnrwally good so far. They say up to 6 hours of continuous play, but I never ride for more than an hour and a half, so hard for me to answer. Don't purchase the charging case that the Best Buy App recommends for this product. They don't go with it at all. They are for the wireless but CONNECTED, to each other, not your phone, wireless headphones. Literally the ONLY gripe I have with these headphones is when I ride, my phone is in the middle back pocket of my riding jersey. When I turn left to check for traffic, I lose my connection. Every time. When I turn right, it's fine. My guess is the Bluetooth part is in the right earbud. I don't look left much, so a very small issue for me, but if for some re as son you always look left and your phone is in your back pocket, may be a problem. For me, not a deal breaker and I'd DEFINITELY buy it again if I could have a redo. No doubt. They are that good.

I had the previous soundsport wireless model, and these sound just as good. The concept and style of the fittings work just the same. They insert into your ear canal and "wings" secure it to your ear. The medium fit comfortably for me. The rubber plugs fit securely to the earphones as well so you don't have to worry about them falling out and losing them. They go in and out of standby mode when you remove and/or sync them from the charge case. The charge case also protects the earbuds, and can be charged by almost any micro usb cable (also included). I get 5 hrs of playtime per full charge as advertised. The case holds an additional 2 full charges totaling 15 hrs of play time. They also have rapid charging. 15 minutes gives you another 40 minutes or so. The earphones are sweat resistant. There are button commands for Android phones to control music and phone calls. You can also download the bose app. Works well on Android. Allows for further custom settings such as equilizer, standby mode timer, and "find my ear bud" in case you misplace them. My only con to these earphones are phone call conversations with sound only coming from one side of the earbud, and no power button. While yes, they do go into standby mode when not in use, it would be nice to turn them on /off manually because I don't like to always keep them charging in the case. Overall, quality is built well. Bose is reliable. Customer service is professional.

These earbuds are great. The charging case holds a charge for a very long time, the earbuds are loud, clear, and deliver great bass, and they charge quickly and last all day. I have no issue with them falling out of my ears; the rubber "hook" grabs perfectly and fits without discomfort. I am, however, upset that the price dropped so quickly after I bought them-- that's my only complaint! Overall, 10/10, excellent product, I would recommend these earbuds to anyone who asks.

I just tested these out this week. I think they are pretty awesome! They come nicely packaged and with everything you need to get started. The setup is super fast and easy with the Bose Connect app. They are very comfortable whether you're cleaning the house, working out or going for a run outdoors. They sounds quality is pretty amazing. As soon as I turned on my music I wanted to dance haha. The only thing that I didn't like and that could be improved is the appearance of the earbuds, they seem to look a bit large and stick out a little more so then I want. Overall though I really like these Bose SoundSport Free Wireless earbud headphones!

These have great sound and comfort. Which are the two main features I was seeking. They also are surprisingly secure in that they dont fall out with head movement. If I could add one feature that is missing is they aren't quite loud enough. The sound quality is amazing but the volume leaves a but to be desired. All in all they are a great product.

I really like the sound quality of these earbuds. The bass is deep and rich and highs are crystal clear. I have small ear openings and sometimes earbuds don't fit me well. I was pleased at how well these fit and stay in my ears. The only "big" drawback is that you can only connect one item at a time which is why I am giving the Bose SoundSport 4 out of 5

Bought this as a gift for a friend but tried it out as well. A little bit bigger than I expected but the weight of it seems to help stay in my ear. Comes with different size plugs and the Bose app also allows for tracking. The case is convenient for carrying and charging through it. Sound quality is amazing. Few troubles with connectivity if it’s in my back pocket and I bend over but other than that it works great whether in a jacket pocket or sitting out.

I use my headphones when I work out at the gym and when I work in my office. I don't like having to be bothered with straps or wires while I'm at the gym so the wireless is perfect for me. It is comfortable and hasn't fallen out of my ears yet while working out. The sound quality is great; it blocks out a lot of noise. The battery lasts about 3-4 hours straight on a full charge. The charge box is awesome as well. It keeps its charge for at least a few days

Great ear buds.these are probably the loudest in ear bose headsets I’ve heard thus far.that was surprising to me.connectiviry is great.i rarely have any issue in that regard.a little glitchy in terms of watching videos on iPhone.audio in videos can be a little out of sinc in terms of what you hear in the video and what is actually going on at that moment in the video.this isn’t a big deal for me, as Ide rather use my bose quiet comfort noise canceling headsets for casual use anyway.i brought these headsets specifically for working out, and they function wonderfully in terms of what I do excercise wise ( strength training ).im not a runner, so I haven’t tested these while sprinting, but I personally don’t think they are secure enough for that particular exercise.the outside of the earbuds are a little bulky therefore heavy, so I believe that too much up and down thumping, and they will drop out, though I haven’t personally put it to the test.for benching, push-ups, pull ups etc...they work perfectly.basically anything with a more stable movement, I can attest to for sure. One thing that could make these headsets near perfect, would be if they were noise canceling.that would have been wonderful.they can hurt a little after hours of usage as well.but as I stated, these are the best bose in earbuds in regards to sound.depending on the environment though, you can definitely still hear outside noise while listening to any audio from these.doesnt completely ruin your jam sessions, but after using headsets with the noise canceling feature, you can become a little spoiled and prefer those particular headsets for casual usage.but...after all is said and done...these are great quality headphones depending on what you want to use them for.

Great sound quality, battery life, and portability. In case you were wondering, the case acts as a charger in itself, I charge mine once every 4 days, and I use it every day I go to the gym. There are 3 earbuds available with different sizes. I've dropped them on a semi rubber mat at the gym multiple times, no problems with damage or anything. Make sure you get the perfect earbud fit. Get the warranty, it's worth the assurance and peace of mind.

Comfort- 5 stars: This is the single most important factor for me, as I have very sensitive ears. I can't use Apple's air pods or even the power beats pro for more than 5 minutes without intense pain in my ear. These Bose ear buds fit very comfortably in my ears, and I can where them for extended listening sessions with no problem. I was a little worried about them falling out, but their unique ear tips have kept a very secure fit. Battery and sound quality- 4 stars: compared to my previous Beats over the ear headphones, sound quality and battery is a little worse. However, I'm happy to give that slight knock up for the comfort and small size these provide. These also do not block out noise quite as well as other ear buds I've used in the past. Connection- 4 stars: I don't love that you have to use the app to connect the first time. Because of the need for the app, I haven't been able to figure out how to connect it to my laptop, and don't know if thats even possible. Worked fine with my iPhone and iPad. Once connected, I've had very little issue with drop off (unlike many other bluetooth headphones that I've had).

Great ear buds with good battery life, especially with the case which keeps them charged. Great features all around and phenomenal sound quality and clarity across the spectrum. Exactly what you would expect from Bose. Only 3 small down sides. First, they are a little bit bigger than some of the other options out there but they are still extremely comfortable and stay in your ears very well. Second, the volume level is good but I personally would like it if they could go a little bit louder as I work utilities/construction and like a little extra volume when operating loud power tools. But for normal average every day use they are more than great. Third and lastly, the water resistance rating on these is pretty weak at only IPX4. This is really the main reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5. For the price they should be at least IPX7 or better, like IP68. If they would make them at IP68 rating they would really be perfect and the other two little things could be totally over looked or disregarded. But these are just my thoughts and opinions. Over all a great product and would probably buy them again. I would recommend them.

I was unsure I wanted to spend this much for essentially what would just be my gym headphones. It was so worth it. These stay in my ear even during active workouts (even running), where other earbuds would fall out constantly. They are comfortable, easy to pair, and I couldn’t believe the quality of sound that came out of these little guys. Battery life is plenty long as well! If you’re willing to drop the dough, these are worth it.

I had previously ordered the Jabra 65T Active but they never fit and consequently, hurt my ears and the sound was tinny. Returned them given BB's excellent policy. Have used the Bose SS's for about a month for running and listening to music on my phone. Pros: Sound quality is very balanced and still allows some ambient sound in for when you need it. They also stay put very well in my ears. Cons: The buttons require a lot of pressure and every once in a while, the left bud cuts out for a second or two. I am not seeing 5 hours of usage per charge but close. Overall, would recommend as the sound and lack of wires overrules the small gripes I have had.

Love using these earphones for running and working out. They're very comfortable and they don't fall out despite aggressive headbanger attempts when initially testing them. The only downside is that the buttons to adjust volume are a bit challenging when wearing. The sleek charging case is awesome in that in stores the earphones when not using them and charges it too. Battery life is very good too. I would strongly recommend

Giving a five star for sound quality alone. It does occasionally drop signal in windy conditions - but I’m giving the product the benefit of the doubt. Plus it’s been during a long run. Just learned to position the device and the arm band without obstruction to the buds. It blows my previous Jaybirds away. Difference in sound quality is night and day and the Jaybird is highly rated as well. Rich bass and the fit is great for my ears.

I just picked these up today and have been using them for the past hour or so. I absolutely love them! I had a bit of a snafu with pairing but the Bose Connect app walked me through the process and was able to connect without an issue the second time around. There is a lot of helpful information on the app. The sound is AMAZING! It is not noise canceling but it blocks out a lot of sound. The bass is pretty good and the music is clear. I am strictly using this for music to listen to while walking/running so I will be using this for under 2 hours per day. I am still trying to see what fit my ears will tolerate as I do have small ears and my ear canals are asymmetrical as I recently found out. I switched out the medium ear tips/wings (they all come as one piece not separate like other brands) with the small and the sound wasn’t quite there in my right ear. I wore medium in the left and small in the right. That seemed to work better. I will continue to see what fit is best for me. There is a significant size difference between small and medium, mainly in the wing tips. It is a bit bulky (it’s not flush with my ears from the front view) but that does not bother me at all. The weight is not an issue. I can’t even feel them in my ears at all. It’s a wonderful product and I am more than happy with this purchase.
