The fit was great the sound was great. I purchased 5 different headsets tried them all. I tested comfort I didn't see how these would stay in my ears but i jumped up and down shook my head left and right. Normally ear buds fall out of my ears i have strange ears i guess but every set of ear buds i have ever owned i had to keep pushing them back in but not with these sound quality was great deep base sounds like surround sound hooked up to my tv and syncs with multiple devices at the same time. The best part is when i need to be quiet i can connect my headset to the tv with Bluetooth and have great sound and not bother anyone else in my home. Talking on the phone great everyone can hear me better then ever and when im talking to my phone to write and email or message it works 10 times better then using the phones built in mics. Then talking on the phone with background noise. There is none i vacuumed and the other party on the other line had no clue the vacuum was on but heard me perfectly. This headset has a 5 hr charge 15 minutes gives you an hr charge. It retails for 199.99. Its weater and sweat proof and has a heart rate monitor in it which works on a few 3rd party apps and bose app but its very accurate. Bose also has an app this headset can sync with. the bose that go in your ears are better smaller better sound and stay in your ears perfectly and i have never had a headset where the ear buds stayed in but these are perfect.

I had previously purchased JBL Contour headphones before purchasing these. My PowerBeats broke after 3 years and I needed something that would be comfortable and excellent for working out since I do a lot of interval training and running. I bought these yesterday, wore them to the gym at night and I'm not disappointed! I'm a skeptic when it comes to headphones having only the fins on them instead of sitting around the ear because I'm always afraid they'll fall out when I'm running. These stayed in my ears the entire time with no irritation and I had no problems with sweat getting in them. Battery life is also fantastic; they come pre-charged at 60%. I charged them to 80% before the gym and I have used them for about 5 hours total so far (they're only at 60%). The sound quality is also superb versus most other ones I've tried, but I definitely expected this from Bose. Although they aren't noise cancelling, I can hardly hear my surroundings with these on. One thing that I don't like is how bulky the headphones are, though. Nonetheless, the wire between the earbuds is lightweight and not very long to be bothersome and you don't have to adjust it like you would on PowerBeats. I have yet to try the pulse monitoring on these as I didn't download the app, but once I do, I will update my review on how well it is. Otherwise, amazing headphones. I highly recommend them.

I just bought the headphones today, so all I can comment about is my first day experience. The product was well packaged, and they came with a 70% charge. I was able to connect with my iPhone 7 immediately with no problems, and it began showing my heart rate. I also own a fitbit HR on my wrist, and the Bose product showed a slightly higher heart rate than the fitbit, but the ear reading is suppose to be more accurate, so all appears good with the heart rate reading so far. I then connected the wireless headphones heart monitor with the runkeeper app, and did a 30 minute jog. Everything worked flawlessly, and the only thing I noticed was a few skips in the music, which I assume is from just being wireless. This is my first wireless set of headphones, so I don't have anything to compare it with. The run keeper app. showed my continuos heart rate, and appeared to work very accurately, and Never disconnected or stopped reading my heart rate. I have owned several pairs of Bose ear buds, and the sound and fit is excellent as usual. The wireless ear buds never felt like they were even close to falling out. I also did a phone call using the ear buds, and they worked great on both ends. I know it has only been one day of use, but so far I LOVE THEM. $200 seems pretty fair for a wireless pair of head phones with a heart rate monitor. If they continue to work great, this will definitely be a X-mas gift for my daughter.

Premium Bose Audio in a Compact Design

If you are looking for high quality audio in a premium, mobile design for fitness related use, look no further. These wireless earbuds pack many features in the compact design. Bose products aren't as bass heavy as some others out there, can be a pro or con depending on the type of music you listen to. Of course, over-ear headphones are going to be more powerful and better sounding since they have more drivers, but these are very solid if you are looking for something lighter or compact. Pros: -Great Bose Connect app with clean, user friendly interface (on iPhone) -Lightweight and comfortable to wear in ears for long periods of time -Earbuds stay in ear and do not fall out -Wireless, can connect via Bluetooth or NFC -Built-in heart rate sensor -Works with other fitness apps -In-Line Microphone -Compact design, easy to carry -Carrying case provided -Rechargeable battery -No proprietary charging cable or dock needed, any micro-USB cable will work -Small and large eartips provided, in case default medium size does not fit in ears -Sweat and weather resistant, easy to clean -Battery life around 5 hours -Can pair with multiple devices Cons: -No noise canceling abilities, background noise is audible when volume is at mid-level -Have to keep the volume close to max on device to get sound at good level -Device in ear is not discreet, the black bulb connected to earbuds stick out.

hands down my new favorite headphones!!!! these headphones are great! i love how easy they are to use. they connect to any device through its own app then you wont have to connect them over and over again. it even displays the battery life on the connected device! i was really surprised on how comfortable and durable these are. they actually fit and stay in your ear during a run or intense work out, and i really put them to the test with all ranges of motion. they come with not one, but two extra fittings so they adjust to any size ear easily. the sound quality is amazing with all genres of music and even phone calls in a loud surrounding. the sound never cracks or ruffles during that heavy base music too. the only reason i gave these a 4/5 stars rating is the noise cancellation- they don't get loud enough to cancel out the loud gym in the background. i guess it can be considered a safety feature since they really make you zone out on your music, that way you can hear someone yelling at you or honking at you if you were outside near traffic. however, i prefer to cancel out all noises but my music. they charge up fast and the battery life is very strong. they will even verbally alert you when they need to be charged while you're wearing them, like siri on an iphone. I will never turn back to overhead or wired headphones again. Overall thought- VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT.

    Best Earbuds EVER!

I've owed many brands of earbuds and regardless of sound, which all turned out to suck now that I have these, they all fall out whenever I walk too long or bend over. It's pretty annoying putting one back in to your ear constantly when you just want to walk, run, clean up or whatever. The sound is AMAZING and being wireless is a super bonus! They have a clip to secure on your shirt to keep them centered. The button to increase and decrease volume also has a center button so you can hit once to pause, 2x to skip a song or 3x to go back when you realize you did want to hear that song after all. No longer have to take your phone out of your pocket, no worries about wires catching on anything, and you seriously will not believe the freaking amazing sound until you own a pair yourself! Super easy to pair and use. My only complaint is they seem to run out of power too soon, but I think that may be just me because once I put them on I don't take them off for hours upon end and then it tells me I need to charge them. On the upside, these things charge back up to 100% SUPER FAST! I have the Bose Q35 which has the same amazing sound and button options, and although I thought those charged fast, these charge SO much faster. Love these buds and you will too when you buy them. If you buy them for a gift for someone they will love you forever too :)

The Bose SoundSport Pulse wireless earbuds are great. I especially value tech that simply does what it says it'll do, and these earbuds hit the mark. The free companion app allows you to pair them with 2 devices so you can switch back and forth easily. I used them with with my iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Pro 9.7" and the pairing was effortless. Sound is solid. I used them for watching video on my iPad (in addition to normal use with the iPhone). The app also tracks your pulse (thus the name) and does a decent job of keeping a record, etc. The buds fit comfortably in my ears and have fins that keep them in while involved in running or other activities. It did take a little practice to find the best way to work with Siri, but I eventually got the hang of it (press and hold the on-cable controller and say "Hey Siri" and wait for the 'beep' before giving a command). I suspect that has more to do with Siri than the earbuds. The controls are a little high near my right ear on the short cable that extends from ear to ear, but there's not much choice on that. The included clip keeps them attached when you need to take one or both out and it comes with a handy carrier that clips on with a carabiner. All-in-all, the SoundSport Pulse are an excellent pair of wireless earbuds. For me, they also came just in time for my new, headphone jack-less, iPhone 7.

These are a good pair of headphones. I don’t consider my self an audiophile but definitely someone who is very particular about good sound quality. These headphones work great in the gym. They do not fall out while doing kettlebell swings or weightlifting. Their sound quality considering they are Bluetooth is very good. They provide a good range of highs lows and mids. I listen to a lot electronic and even at high volumes they do not distort at all. The volume is good enough for me but some people who really want it to be loud in their ear might find it lacking by a couple of points. The battery life is good lasts about 4 to 5 hours. Sweat doesn’t cause the sound to mess up. I do enjoy the heart rate feature especially when you install the ua record app it gives u a lot of good information. So overall I do really like them. If you are just interested in listening to them at home then I’d say look at something else since the sound is very good but it could be better. However if you want something that is steady, reliable, very good audio and the heart rate monitor it is a good package. Bose has a good overall sound standard which they keep and it’s noticeable in this product.

This is a great pair of headphones for those who want to monitor their heart rate while working out to track calorie burn. I matched these buds up with Endomondo, and the app picked up on them right away. They're just about as accurate as a chest strap. If you're not particular about getting your heart rate EXACTLY right while working out, this is about as close as it gets. I just love the fact that I no longer need an extra piece of equipment to know how hard I'm working. Plus, they're BOSE headphones, so you know they're going to sound amazing. Battery life is great as well. I charge them automatically after every other workout, but the life is as advertised, about 8 hours total listen time (for me, that's at least 4 workouts). The fins are pretty much a necessity if you sweat at all, as they help hold the buds in place. If the connection to the left bud is compromised at all, the headphones will tell you "heart rate not detected; adjust left earbud." There are different size buds, though, so play with them and figure out which size seals the best. They work with pretty much every fitness app out there, from what I've read. These are a great investment for people who are serious about their fitness.

I fell in love with these things the moment I opened the sweet box that they come in. They were super easy to pair with my Note7 and they sound great. I really like how secure they fit into my ears, and I have worn them for about 2 hours at a time and my ears do not hurt after wearing them. You do get three different sizes of ear things and I stuck with the mediums that came already attached. After about 1 hour of music playing (loudly) I had about 90% battery left after a full charge. These will easily last a few workouts. I really like how it will tell you how much battery is left when you turn it on. It will also tell you what device it is connected to, which might come in handy for some people. My only gripe so far is how far they stick out of your ears when you have them in. But its really not that bad. They also come with a nice little carrying case.

I am always impressed with Bose and their product quality and the Soundsport Wireless Pulse Earbuds are no exception. If you are familiar with or are comparing this pair to the Soundsport Wireless Earbuds, these are very similar. The main difference is the "pulse" or heartbeat monitoring capabilities in this set. The earbuds come in a small zippered pouch that has a carabiner clip, a couple different size earbud fittings and charging cord. The set up is fairly easy. Since they work using bluetooth, the linking process was quick and easy. My iphone connected with no problem. There is also a Bose Connect app that correlates with the earbuds. That is where the heart rate shows up and you can control your playlist to help streamline your use. The heart rate monitor is in the left earbud, so if you're looking to see what it is that has to be sitting in your ear correctly. It took a couple adjustments before it gave me a rate. The earbuds are very comfortable, even wearing them for a long time. The sound is great, just like I would expect a Bose product to be. I do not work out regularly, so for me, the heart rate monitoring is not a huge feature, but if you are an avid athlete, I would recommend this to anyone.

Two major issues and 2.5 stars

I will say overall I like the concept and when these are working right they are wonderful. However, there are two major issues caused by heavy sweat. I will say I tend to sweat heavily. I have had to return two pair and will return a third today because the earphones gave out. The first issue is that they tend to fall out after a lot of sweat has built up. They will not stay in place. Second, sweat tends to affect these in a major way. I am training for a half marathon and like clockwork around mile 4 the left ear piece starts popping and crackling and eventually they shut off. Eventually they come back on with more crackling. I usually can get 5 or 6 more workouts in after the problem first appears, but they get progressively worse. Thankfully I bought the best buy warranty and will be going on my fourth pair. When they do work the sound quality is very good and heart rate sensor pretty accurate. It did sync up to a couple of running apps as well. I wish I could give it a higher rating, but for me personally I have had a lot of the same issues over and over again. If you are not a heavy sweater I would recommend them. I obviously like them since I'm going on #4.

    Awesome Headphones

These headphones are awesome!!! It was hard for me to justify spending this much on a set of headphones, but after using them, it was well worth the price!! The sound quality is amazing. I listen to various genres of music and i was pleasantly surprised that they all sound great through these headphones. The set up was simple. I didn't have any problems downloading and using the app or setting up the Bluetooth connection to my phone and Ipad. I thought I would just use the headphones while working out, but I found myself using them instead of my over the ear headphones, as these are smaller and lighter with comparable sound quality. I was impressed on how well they stayed in place while jogging and working out . I don't workout too aggressively, so I don't know how they will hold up in those situations, but for the average person, they should hold up fine. The heart monitoring feature is nice, although it would lose the connection at times. Perhaps I needed to put in the smaller earpiece for a better/tighter connection. Although the headphones look bulky, they are very light and comfortable. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for quality wireless headphones.

The Bose SoundSport Wireless Pulse easily exceeded my expectation in the sound quality department. It bested my Beats PowerBeats 2 and my wired B&W C5. It has a full, balanced sound with excellent bass reproduction and wide soundstage. Frankly, I really didn't expect much as I am not a Bose guy, but these SoundSport Wireless are really quite good. They are a bit bulky in your ear, but overall comfortable and lightweight. Battery life seems reasonable for this style of headphone and I managed to get a solid 6 hours out of them. Construction seems solid and charging is done with a USB micro cable. The only real negative I have is that the pulse rate monitoring is pretty gimmicky. It would frequently have trouble reading my pulse and I would have to reposition the buds, but when it worked it was often pretty accurate. The Bose Connect app is OK I suppose. Pretty no-frills app that offers software updating, pulse monitoring, and a very basic music player. Overall, the Bose SoundSport Wireless Pulse exceed my expectation for sound quality, are comfortable to wear, and have a decent battery life. Just not sure the extra money for Pulse monitoring is really worth it.

At first glance with the design of these headphones one might feel they will be too heavy or bulky for the ears. I am here to tell you that's not true. Setup is easy with the Bose Connect app, these are "open" headphones in that they don't have to be shoved inside your ears, the downside is they don't block out noise but you really don't necessarily want that in a headphone set that you may be running or biking with in order to be able to react to your surroundings if necessary. They are also sweat and water resistant which is needed in a workout headphone pair. Speaking of physical activities the Soundsport Pulse headphones also have a heart rate monitor which is a cool added feature, the sensor for this is located in the left side headphone and is able to read your heart rate very easily. As for fit, with the ear tips on these headphones they fit very comfortably in the ear and absolutely do not fall out which was a concern of mine when I first looked at these. And now to what you would buy these for in the first place..music...Sound quality is really good with rich bass and nice highs. Overall a great set of headphones.

This is my first pair of wireless headphones, and so far they're fantastic. The set up is easy, and I like the available adjustments with the sound controls on the Bose app. They tell you the charge left when you turn them on (which is very cool)--as long as you use the correct size cover they should fit very snugly in your ears with little to no movement, even though they are a little bulkier than other headphones. The sound quality is totally worth it though. The added heartbeat monitor is a bonus. I use these while running and they are almost perfect for that purpose. They're NOT noise cancelling, and using them for running that is important since you need to be able to hear outside noise. I've also used them while mowing and can still hear with the volume raised a slight bit. Being wireless the clip is super important, as I'd be very upset if I lost these. You can use the clip to attach them to your clothes and I highly recommend doing that, though if you're forgetful like me remind yourself to detach them before taking off your shirt! These are fantastic wireless headphones with the sound quality you'd expect from Bose.

I have been pleased with the Bose products that I own so far and the Soundsport Pulse headphones did not disappoint. The sound is clear with music and phone calls. The headphones come with three different sized earbuds, which was definitely helpful since I am not the only one using them. The headphones also come with a soft, compact case, which the headphones fit nicely in. I like to use mine when doing chores around the house or when I go out for a walk. The headphones come with a clip and they stayed on well. The earbuds are not too bulky and since it has the heart rate monitor, they can't be too small. I used the heart monitor a few times and didn't have an issue with them. It seemed to work properly. I also like the clarity of the conversations I had when on a phone call. No one ever commented that they couldn't hear me. It came with some instructions but not a lot of details on its operation. The battery life could be improved to last longer since I usually had to charge them after about 5 hours of use. Overall, it's a good set of wireless headphones and the Bose quality of sound definitely comes through with this product.

    Great wireless option

Having wireless headphones has changed my workouts. I don't spend any time adjusting these and can focus on running or lifting. The sound quality on these are better than any other sport headphone I have owned. They're are loud enough and good bass. They stay in and are comfortable enough I barely notice they are in my ears. The clip on the back is a nice detail that keeps the wire from bouncing. One of the best improvements might be the controls on the wire. Skipping songs works incredibly well compared to any other headphone. The heart rate monitor proves very accurate compared to other heart rate equipment I have used. You do need to get the earbud in the exact correct spot for it to read when it starts up but after that it seems fine. The only caveat is how big these are. They do stick out of your ears more than other wireless buds. Personally, I'm not too focused on my looks when exercising. Being wireless you do have to get used to charging yet another device but that's non-specific to this product. Overall I would definitely recommend especially if you are switching from wired.

The sound is pure with full, rich lows and highs that don't get shrill. Fit is fine, but takes a bit of getting used to. They will not fall out of your ears, even though at first it feels they will. Just trust the design and roll with it. Make sure you realize these are not noise cancelling--in other words, you will hear the TV in the same room, or the dog bark, or the doorbell ring--you will just also hear excellent sound quality through the headphones. It only makes sense the HR would be super accurate measured through your left ear. It also syncs up with all the heath and fitness apps I had, including Apple Health. However, if the wire moves just the right way, the Bose Voice will warn you the HR is not tracking and tell you to adjust the earphone. This is fine, but gets really annoying after a bit. A simple beep would suffice, and it may keep me from actually using the new HR feature (you can turn it on and off in the Bose Connect app you are prompted to download at setup). If you have a wearable HR monitor, stick with it and the original Soundsport Wireless Earphones, and skip this gimmick.

The packaging and set up for the Soundsport Pulse earbuds is impressive. The instructions are easy to follow. The earbuds come with 3 different earpiece sizes. I am using the smallest size. The controls are great - in the perfect positions to easily find and operate, even when walking or exercising. There is a clip to attach to your clothing so you won't lose the earbuds when you take them out. The sound quality is really good. I connected to iHeart Radio and Google Music through my Android phone. The earbuds themselves are wonderful, so I was disappointed that the Bose Connect app did not work. I tried following their troubleshooting guide, but the app just kept saying it could not connect with the device, even though it was connected through Bluetooth and working. So, I was not able to view my heart rate (which is not a high priority, but would be an added benefit). The best feature for me is being wireless. It's nice not to deal with the cord between the phone and the earbuds. The charge time is significant (5+ hours). The earbud design is comfortable for long periods of listening.
