We would usually advise that you check the bass and treble settings for the source that you are using. If these are set to extreme high or lows, then this has a negative impact on your overall quality.
We would also recommend that you visit a Bose store prior to purchasing the headphones to trial these and ensure that you're happy with the audio quality and comfort!

Like the in-ear portion
