Yes, they are wired, but the sound quality and not having to charge them is worth the wire to me. I also have the wireless2 powerbeats by Dr. Dre, and those are ok but like these better

However, they only lasted a couple of months and i had to replace them twice. The second time i had to replace the headphones they were out of stock so now i dont have headphones

These are great earbuds and stay in my ears during my hikes or runs. I couldn't beat the price they were half off when I purchased. I actually replaced an old pair I had for many years.

I took them back, and bought some turtle beach headphones... what a huge differance, will never bother with bose again

I like the quality of their products and have not been disappointed. Some people gravitate towards other brands because they're new, but I've not been disappointed with Bose, yet.

I used these an entire deployment with no issues except the mic going out from so much sweat and condensation. Wish they would make a pair that would seal in your ear to block out sound and amp up bass; but that’s not what these were made for.
