    I bought a pair of these but after 2 months I started having problems with a loud static sound only out of one side and trouble connecting them to phone. Only good thing is I had the protection plan if not for that I would be very upset

    Good Sound, Uncomfortable, Bad Phone Noise

    Sound is very good, holds a charge well and has pretty good range but they become uncomfortable after about a half hour, even tried changing ear pieces. I don't normally use the phone with these but when I do it has terrible background noises, static, beeps etc.

    I purchased these shortly after they were released and within 3 days of working out, I began hearing left ear static. I thought it was a fluke so I returned them for a new pair, and sure enough, experienced left ear static on day 1. After reading other reviews, it is clear that these are not sweat proof as the left ear static started after doing cardio on the first pair, and yard work on the 2nd pair. I have been a loyal Bose customer for as long as I can remember and am considering going back to my wired Soundsport. The sound on the wireless ear buds is sub par to the wired version, but in my opinion, a slight trade off to go wireless. Hopefully Bose can correct the issue and get back to the quality that most of us have become accustomed to.

    Fast diminishing return on investment

    I firmly believe that Bose create the best sounds quality out there. I was just unlucky to have received a defect. The whole point of these earphones is for listen to music during workouts. The ones I ordered started to depreciate quickly (there was static noise due to the vibrations from running.

    I read the reviews before buying and felt that the good outweighs the bad. That is until I fell into the bad spectrum from my purchase. The sound quality was very good until after about 10 mins of use and I would hear static. The sound gets distorted from too much static. I will turn off the headphone to see if it would correct itself and it was the same thing after a little bit of use. Mind you I only bought this one day ago and just used it today. I have not lost hope though. I will return it back today to be replaced by another one and hope for the best on the second set. I will update this review if the replacement set is better. Bummer of a birthday present.

    Great sound, not durable

    Went through 2 sets in 2 weeks. Great sound and comfort, but had problems with earpieces after 2-3 uses. First time the earpiece only made a static sound and the second set failed to power up after the initial use. I reluctantly returned them for a refund.

    i love these wireless earbuds, but they end up dying on me within a couple of days or the left side goes out or I end up hearing static. I have gone through five pairs now going through five pairs and I dont wanna lose faith in bose and im hoping they fix it asap because I am a very active person and I need my earbuds for my gym workouts and my runs. Come on Bose step your game up and hurry it up and fix these earbuds asap!

    Disappointed

    I bought these because Bose has always created great quality products with amazing sound. The sound quality on these is good. My issue is that when I work out with them and sweat a lot I get a lot of static and crackling and the audio fades out and then comes back in. I purchased these on 8/3/16 and emailed boseappsupport@bose.com from the APp on the iPad regarding the issue and also regarding disconnecting on and off on FaceTime and the response I received was: "Hello, Sorry for the frustrations. We will want to clear the pairing list for sure. Hold the multi-function down for 10 seconds. On the Apple device go to settings > Bluetooth > and "forget" the device. Then restart the Apple device. After the re-pair, your issues should be resolved. Thank you for contacting Bose Corporation. Marc Product and Technical Support Team" Marc did not address the issue concerning static when sweating, which is honestly my biggest issue with them.

    Short lived happiness...

    I got these two days after they were released. I have owned the wired soundsport earphones and loved them and I was super happy when these wireless earphones were released. As a runner who sweats a lot, I was waiting for these as they were promised to be sweat resistant. Well, that was only through 20 minutes of my second run. I think I got about 100 minutes of total enjoyment from these before the left speaker started with a slow and then steady static. I turned them off and continued with my run. Hours later, at home, I turned them back on and made a phone call only to hear the static come up again within 5 minutes. Not happy. I took them back for an exchange. I have the new ones in the unopened box but I am taking them back today for a full refund. :-( oh well.

    The bose are very comfortable to wear but when making calls there is a great deal of static. I use them to work out so it does not bother me. They are hard to turn on and off, the button takes some time to get use too. Over all not bad but would not buy again. Average rating . The one thing Thing I do like the best is they are comfortable to wear when running and do not fall out like my Jaybirds.

    Died after a month

    When I first got these headphones they were great. Then after a month of using them they started to make a static noise in the left earbud during a run. Turned them off and the static continued to come out of the earbud. On the way home the battery was drained and I went to charge them and they would not turn back on. Very disappointed in these earbuds. I waited for the wireless Bluetooth headphones since the wired ones were comfortable and sounded awesome.

    Crackling sound, static (left) and connection loss

    What a shame ... Bose finally managed to screw up its reputation of being the best in the world to releasing a product that is worthless. I loved Bose products - QC 20 and now QC35 which I treasure. But this Soundsport is a disaster. In the first jog on a treadmill, within 30 minutes, I heard static on the left ear and then crackling sound and finally it stopped. I could not connect to the phone or whatever. After 20 minutes, I was able to restart it and again the same problem within 10 minutes. I went to Best Buy and exchanged for another unit. While speaking on the phone for about 10 minutes, it started crackling and dropped the blue tooth connection. The battery at 20% went dead within 2 minutes of talk time. I am now going to return and try a third unit tomorrow since the sound is awesome. Hope Bose will listen, and make drastic improvements. Hope the new one will not have the same two faulty errors. Maybe it is heating up and hence the errors or some software error. Whatever-- Bose technical staff, work out a solution fast !!

    Awesome sound and fit, broke with my first use

    I love Bose products and have them scattered around my house. I have several pairs of wired earphones and was thrilled to see that wireless was finally available. I bought them and took them for a run - fit was great, sound was great as well. Then, 30 minutes into the run, loud static started and got worse. I took them back and exchanged them for a new pair, and once again, 30 minutes into my first run with the new pair, static started, got louder and then the earbuds froze. So disappointed. Obviously not sweat proof.

    So I just about went crazy looking for a good set of bluetooth headphones for the gym. Being a college student, I was trying to try every cheap pair before getting these. Trust me, what a waste of time. I was specifically trying to replace a Bose Soundsport wired pair of headphones. They've been super-reliable, and the customer service is the BEST, but the wires were getting in the way and starting to twist inside the coating, causing static at high volumes. These headphones, although expensive (for me), are the BEST option out there. Completely comfortable, reliable, and awesome bluetooth streaming. Stop wasting time and get these.

    These are my first pair of expensive ear phones. I originally wanted to buy Beats since they were running a promotion. These ear phones are very comfortable in comparison to my older ear phones. @@@@@@@@ yur buds?? @@@@@@@ These also can be clipped to your apparel during your workout. There was a static the first time I used it, however that went a away within 10 mins. @@@@@@@@ I have the BB warranty so if it happens again I will return them). For the price, I thought the sound quality would be better.

    After trying quite a few Bluetooth headsets I find the Bose soundsport. I instantly liked them. They linked instantly and I did not lose connection like others. They did however start getting static with sweaty workouts. I called Bose and they had me send them back and they sent me a wired pair until the new soundsport comes out in September. I was pleasantly surprised and don't even mind waiting for my new pair as they gave me the $100 pair for free to keep for my troubles. Bose customer service is top notch! I am definitely a Bose customer for life.

    Awsome Sound but don't resist sweat

    I got a set of this wireless head phones for workout use. I was very impressed for the quality in sound. For that size of head phones I think they are the ones that sound the best. I even liked them so much that I prefer to travel with them instead of my QC 25s. My QC25 they still sound lot better but for space in my backpack, the nice neoprene case with carabiner makes it easy to take them everywhere. Sadly the first time I used them after 20 minutes of running in the threadmill, it started to do things that I wasn't commanding like trying to ask Siri something. Or like if I was holding down a button. So I had to turn off the bluetooth connection from my phone. I waited for next day to see if they would work normally again and they did. So I took them with me on my next business trip and I was happy. Next time a went to they gym again after 15 minutes I heard a constant static on my left earpiece like a shortcut and then the volume just was going down like if I was holding the button to lower the volume. Then I tried to turn them off and the power button didn't work. I realized that the side that has the battery was overheating, so again I decided turn off the bluetooth in my phone. I liked them so much that I went to store to exchange them for new ones thinking that those first ones were only a bad set. My second set lasted longer, 2 weeks, the problems were only the static on the left earpiece. I had to return them and decided to not get another set. I think I'm going to wait until a newer model that replace this ones come out. Also I will wait to see what people talks about after a while. So if you are not going to use them for work out, and use them for traveling or for having a small set in briefcase, I would totally recommend them but otherwise I would think on another choice or wait till the next model is available.

    Defective - Buyer Beware

    I bought these after a bad experience with Beats, and doing a school Marketing project on Bose. Saw the great CNET review as well. Bought them and loved them. After a few weeks, static would show up on my runs, and then the headphones would cut out. This happened a couple times and I charged them and then they worked again. Since the last time this happened, they have not been able to power on again. They look like they're charging (the light comes on when plugged in) but they will not power up. Very upset and disappointed. Have been unable to work out with bluetooth headphones now for 2 weeks.

    Neither Sweat nor weather resistant

    As other reviewers have stated, these headphones will begin to produce a high volume static noise if the earpiece gets wet, even just from normal summer sweat levels. Bose has long missed out on the market for wireless sport headphones so I was thrilled to know they had finally come out with this product. Nearly 2 years ago I had asked at a Bose store and was told that Bose will put all the needed quality and testing into a product and they will not be rushed to market. Well.....after losing the market for so long, they finally come out with a substandard and basically defective product. Amazing that they did not even test it under normal sweat type conditions. I have owned several cheaper and very cheap wireless headphones. None have gone bad after 3 or 4 times of use or even 50. This is outrageous really and Bose should consider pulling back all the products and correcting this issue or they will face the potential for longterm damage to their reputation. Really sad!

    Disappointed with Bose (Devoted customer of Bose)

    I have gone through 5 different manufacturers of sport Bluetooth Earbuds and when I returned the 5th pair I saw that Bose had finally marketed one to my relief. Without hesitation even after reading the reviews I ran to Best Buy and got one. It arrived late yesterday and could not wait to get on my bike today and ride with great sound to inspire me. The first 19 miles it worked great super comfortable, awesome sound, and was easy to use; I finally found what I have been looking for. After about 1 hour and 15 minutes I got the static in the left ear that I had read about and it would not go away no matter what I tried. Re-pair, reboot, re-charge nothing helped and it was there even when turned off. I am returning for a second pair tomorrow but I am not confident they will last since this is a well documented problem. I always buy Bose for my audio stuff in my cars, office, and home and love all ot them. I am disappointed in Bose this time and guess I will still have to search for a pair that will last and still work as well as Bose if the second pair fails too. Good luck if you buy these and have intense excessive workouts.
