    These are spectacular.

These are spectacular systems. I now own a SoundTouch 30, 2 SoundTouch 20’s and 3 SoundTouch 10’s. The 10 is the best value IMO. It sounds great, but it doesn’t have the display. To truly appreciate the *system* you need to have a couple of these. To be able to control all the system from my Mac/PC/iOS or Android device is simply the spectacular…. BUT, the 6 presets are the best, and when I compared the SoundTouch system to a Sonos system it was one of the deciding factors as I the price and sound quality was similar. Once the presets are assigned, I don’t need to find my phone or computer to access music. My favorite Pandora or radio station is on with the touch of one button. That’s it! Amazing! This is completely changed how I listen to music at home. It’s a great system and the SoundTouch 10 makes it affordable!

I bought this to work with “Alexa” amazon’s dot. It was pretty easy to set up but I am not very techie and had to spend some time setting it up with my WiFi. And Bluetooth. It will work with other online services for music but then will lose connection to the dot. Getting connection again is not very difficult but you have to use your Alexa app. I think it connect to Alex with Bluetooth. When I connect it directly to my iPad to play music, it disconnects from Alexa. It will connect via WiFi directly to a music service as well and there are presets you can keep so i5 finds these “channels”: I bought the Sonos first but when I lost connection to Alexa I couldn’t get another connection. Impossible to set up. Sound wise I think the Sonos has a slight edge but I couldnt get it to work the way I wanted

    My second unit (for stereo)

I was so impressed with the first one that I had to add a second unit to pair in stereo mode. We now have BIG spatial sound via Wi-Fi and Echo 2 on the main floor of our town house. Admittedly the bass is a bit overpowering so it needs to be moved out from the wall far enough to suit your tastes. I have mine about 6" from the wall (do not put it in a corner as the bass bounces everywhere) and the bass control in the app turned all the way down. We now also have two remotes which is handy (less shouting at Alexa) even though only one is required to control both speakers simultaneously. We have had the "system" for a couple of months now and have had to reconnect the main speaker to Wi-Fi with the app a few times, but the stereo and Bluetooth pairings happen automatically thereafter. Love the big sound!

I purchased this speaker to play music from my I-Phone, and that is what it does. It has a very nice, rich sound, as you would expect from Bose. I purchased it for inside use, so I don't mind that it has a cord to plug in (and I won't need to worry about replacing batteries every time I use it). It is small and light enough for me to move around from room to room with no problem, although I will probably eventually get an additional one to put in my office so that I don't need to move it as often. If I leave my i-Phone on pause for too long, the speaker does shut itself off. This is probably a good thing, and it is no big deal to turn it back on when I do return to the room and want to resume listening to music. I have not investigated all the features yet, but it definitely does what I bought it to do, and I am very happy with my purchase.

Stopped working - No warranty! Do not buy.

Purchased the SoundTouch 10, and it was *okay*. You need to use an app just to adjust the bass- but that is okay- that is a feature of the product. Problem is that the speaker stopped working after 2 weeks. (will not find any input source, cannot connect via bluetooth or USB). Took it back to BestBuy after 20 days- in-store warranty expired after 14. Attempted to return it to Bose- Bose does NOT provide a warranty if you purchase a product from another vendor (other than Bose). So- you are buying something with a 14 day warranty. Not a problem if things don't break...but this product is not just a dumb speaker...and there is a good chance it will break. It's ridiculous that Bose provides zero warranty. Do not buy this product unless you want to throw away $200 for a black box that does absolutely nothing. 0/10 would not recommend.

I have a really nice JBL Charge + portable Bluetooth and when I was testing speakers to determine which to buy it came down to the JBL and the Bose. Both were standouts so when I looked for a larger speaker for the home I came back to those two. And the best quality and value I found was this Bose Soundlink 10 Witeless system. It has the full sound I have to have that is missing from most Bluetooth speakers, it has the volume level I want to fill my house and to be able to hear it clearly upstairs in my office, and it has a complete bass sound quality not the tinny electrical bass you get with other systems. And if course set up was easy the Internet radio offered and the phone app to control the system easily are great. Definitely recommend this for value and quality

I got this speaker by a last minute change of heart. I was originally there for a Sony speaker that I've had my eye on for awhile to use in my home gym. Once I found the speaker I noticed it was huge, that's when someone who represents Bose approach me. After telling him what I was there and that I had a budget of $200 or less he suggested this speaker. I couldn't be any happier great sound and bass. I found a mount for it on Amazon and the rest is history. I can add more speakers if I desire to do so, but one is enough for now. Highly recommended

I purchased the SoundTouch 10 to add on to my Bose SoundTouch 300 Sound Bar, Acoustimass sub, and virtually invisible speakers.. The speaker is surprisingly powerful for its size.. works great for playing music while synced with the rest of my system. However after numerous attempts I cannot seem to get the SoundTouch 10 to sync with the rest of my system for Television and movies.. there is a delay. Hoping Bose will have an update that fixes this or one of my troubleshooting attempts becomes successful. In the meantime I will just be using it for music.

    Fantastic Speaker, Great Connectivity

I picked this up a little while ago from my local Best Buy, and I am still blown away by it. The old adage "No Highs No Lows, Must Be Bose" no longer applies. This thing produces a fantastic range of sound! Add on the wi-fi connectivity and the bluetooth, along with the presets, and I am absolutely in love. There is one thing, however, that truly bugs me about this speaker: It does not have a rechargeable battery. That is the one thing that would send it over the top to me. I can understand the 20 and the 30 not having them, but the 10 really should. But for now, it continues to fill my office with beautiful noises. I'll likely be adding a 20 or a 30 for my main floor in the near future.

We have many of these SoundTouch units in our home and love them, especially now that the software has worked out many of the frustrating bugs. Why in the world Bose would release their Revolve portable speaker without having wifi SoundTouch capabilities is beyond me. A huge miss Bose. I'd have 3 or 4 of those units right now if they would work seamlessly with my existing home filled with other SoundTouch units. Love the ST10's. This one goes in my daughter's room. Bose needs to make a wifi, bluetooth, lithium ion battery, IPX8, AC plug in capable Sound Touch networkable form factor of the free space 51 outdoor speaker, but in grey aluminum. I'd place those around my hot tub. These sound much better than Sonos. Go Bose folks.

I purchased this to use with my Amazon Echo. The speaker sounds fantastic with deep bass and good high notes. It paired with no problems. I was also able to get two of these speakers to connect together wirelessly for stereo sound. Unfortunately, I had to return them because the speaker goes to sleep if not used for 20 minutes. This means every time you have not used your Amazon Echo for 20 minutes you must walk over to the Bose speakers and turn them back on. I called Bose tech support and they acknowledged the auto shutoff feature of the speakers was a feature and it could not be disabled. The Harmon Kardan Onyx mini and Onyx Studio 3 to not suffer from this problem so I bought those. The Bose is a great speaker, just not ideal for use with the Amazon Echo.

Don’t waste your money or time unless you are buying one... the pairing is awful and cuts in and out. I called bose and they said maybe we’ll fix it with an update but as of right now sorry. And if you are trying to watch a music video forget it be the sound is delayed horribly with the the actual video. It’s not noticeable in just listening to music Bc you have nothing to compare it to. I buy bose everything but this was the worst purchase at Best Buy yet. I even went back to exchange it Bc I thought it was the speaker... It was NOT ... it’s all of them and bose could care less Bc their customer service was awful.

I purchased this for use in my bathroom as I had just been playing music from my phone while in the shower. The sound is great for the room I am using it in. I had intended just to use the Bluetooth capabilities however the speaker is much better served as a direct connection to your wireless network. It can be turned on from your phone using an app or via remote control or button on the unit. Preset buttons (6 of them) allow you to one touch your favorite song, playlist, or channel. Works with Pandora, Amazon, Spotify, or even from your computer library. I had considered buying the Soundtouch 20 or 30, but after using this the past week it is more than capable for the room I am in.

I've always loved Bose products. This one as well for sound quality. The internet radio stations were a plus. My only problem was I used it to connect to an Amazon Echo Dot. It would NOT stay connected. I would connect it in the mornings. When I came home in the evenings, I had to get it to reconnect. The only way I could get it to re- connect was unplug the unit and let it reboot. At that point it was discoverable and my Dot would connect. I returned it and got a regular Bluetooth capable sound bar. I haven't had the disconnection problem yet. I gave it 3 stars only because of the quality of sound. When it was connected it sounded great! I would recommend for listening to music, but NOT for connecting with Amazon Alexa products.

I love the idea of how I don’t always have to pull my phone or tablet out to hear a station. I like being able to walk up and hit the preset, honestly, that’s what attracted me to this... but the app is very finicky and I always have issues with having to relaunch it, an update happening and having to repair, or when I pair the two speakers in stereo mode, it doesn’t always work correctly. It’s not a bad unit, I’ve recommended it to a few friends who like the same idea simplicity of one touch, but not made for if you really want to build a system in the house like sonos can.

I wanted this speaker because I also have SONOS but that other system doesn't offer a way to listen to more audio sources via Bluetooth (only via Line-In by buying an extra device.) I like it overall, but I think it needs more options for configuring the audio preferences, like an equalizer. It has too much bass despite the fact that you can reduce it. When compared to the SONOS Play:1 unit, this one has more distortion, I perceive it's more prone to blowing than SONOS. Hopefully that doesn't happen anytime soon. The other thing that annoys me is that it doesn't allow for simultaneous playback of different devices, so if i connect my iPhone, my laptop disconnects and so on and so forth. I'll give it a few more days to fall in love with it, or return it.

When I purchased this Item I was actually thinking of using it as an enhancement speaker for a small TV similar to a sound bar. It would actually have been ok for that. In addition I knew it could be used as an independent speaker for music stored on my network as well as for interner radio like Pandora. It would also do that. While the sound quality is decent, it's not nearly as good as a Sonos 3 unit. The mobile interface is also not as easy to use and has no clear cue function which was a little disapointing. It also strains a bit to connect on the wi-fi and takes a little time. While not hard to set up, that could also be a bit easier. I would look at other options available but would purchase again depending on the need.

I had 4 of the older Soundtouch units, use them all the time. This one was for my daughter and now she listens to her music instead of watching TV, she loves it. I can't compare to the Sonos as I have never had one, but these little things sound great. Pandora works well, SiriusXM has been added. I am not sure if this newer version has 5g WiFi, the older ones are 2.4g, so you can get some gaps on high bitrate music such as the siriusxm stream, but overall, I would not have bought 5, if I did not think they were worth it. Sound quality is amazing for such a small device. I spend some years building Vacuum Tube stereo systems, ($50k plus speakers), at the end of the day, you have to be very picky to hear the difference, these have replaced the older HiFi system I had...

Positives: Sound is really pretty great. Crisp, clear, good bass. Was very pleased to discover that the app doesn't need to be open and running in order to access 3rd party apps like Pandora. Once set up you can simply click a preset and easily switch between stations even when they're different services. Negatives: A few times it's become disconnected and wouldn't reconnect unless I left it unplugged for about an hour. There have been several instances when I went to the app to add a new preset and the app can't find the speaker. Not sure what the workaround is yet as I haven't had the time to trouble shoot it but it's a recurring issue. If the app didn't have the issues I'd give it a 4 of 5 stars

I love this speaker. I tried a pair of Insignia Bluetooth speakers first. They were MUCH less expensive, but didn't pick up my Bluetooth transmitter's signal very well. Also, the sound quality, while pretty good given their price, was muddy. It took some doing, and a couple of calls to Denon, but now the Bose speaker works with my iPad just great, as well as working through a Bluetooth transmitter and my older Denon AVR. I wish I had the Bose Soundtouch wireless/Bluetooth Link, but I'd already purchased a much less expensive Bluetooth transmitter/receiver. For its size, this Soundtouch 10 speaker sounds great, and it's design is attractive, unobtrusive and handy.
