Easy setup if you have Wi-Fi. Wish I had bought the one with the screen though.
Sounds great.

We purchased this as a method of having music in the garage, but, it has been taken over by everyone in the family. Great sound, easy to set up, and saves on electricity from using internet TV with surround sound. Unreal quality for the price.

Recently picked up a pair of these speakers to stream my music via network connection from room to room. Great sound as you would expect from Bose. Bonus features (not offered in Sonos) is that they have bluetooth connectively and 6 preset hard buttons to store your favorite music channels / device settings. Rumors that Bose is working on a firmware upgrade to allow stereo / mono pairing for Lt or Rt separation. Give them a try.

I use this speaker for my garage gym and its awesome! Easy to set up straight out the box. Wifi was a little tricky just because of the need to be able to have device close to your wifi connection. Not impossible to do, but challenging nonetheless. Personally a bluetooth connection seems to be the best option for me. Bose does provide an app that you can use which allows internet provided services to be use with speaker like Pandora, Spotify, etc. I did buy a wall mount for it so I can have it own the wall. Overall speaker is loud compact may possibly buy a 2nd one to make a pair, but will see.

I purchased this for use in my bathroom as I had just been playing music from my phone while in the shower. The sound is great for the room I am using it in. I had intended just to use the Bluetooth capabilities however the speaker is much better served as a direct connection to your wireless network. It can be turned on from your phone using an app or via remote control or button on the unit. Preset buttons (6 of them) allow you to one touch your favorite song, playlist, or channel. Works with Pandora, Amazon, Spotify, or even from your computer library. I had considered buying the Soundtouch 20 or 30, but after using this the past week it is more than capable for the room I am in.

We already have the same sound system for our son and received such good feedback from him that we also got it for his sister. Sound is great - well it is Bose. Even though it has the preset settings for different music services she uses only Pandora or Internet radio station. Most use is through Bluetooth.

Love it. Can hear it clear even when turned up loud and sound is excellent. Programmed my stations and love the remote for when I need to turn it down fast (phone, door, etc.) Great Buy! Dancing around the house doing my housework.

I looked a lot before I purchased a Bose SoundTouch 10, and surprisingly the sound is great considering the size of the speaker. I have a white one and look very classy. I knew I could trust the quality of a Bose product. Very happy with my choice, definitely recommend.

The Bose SoundTouch provides high-fidelity sound through my wireless router from a wide array of sources. It was not hard to program, and provides surprisingly great sound from a very small package. The only thing I would change is to provide for more than six presets.

I'm a big fan of Bose and their latest product is beautiful and sounds amazing. Simple to setup and use. The remote is perfect! You can rate songs from the remote. Sleek, perfect size for a bookshelf. Syncing to iTunes via iMac was super simple. You can also save a playlist, artist etc iPhone Bose app. As long as the iMac is running, just pick up remote or iPhone app turn on SoundTouch and press the selected preset button.

I was surprised how full the sound is for Bose Sound Touch 10. Also how easy the bluetooth connects with phone, tablet and pc. The app is good, the Pandora feature is great. The only reason I didn't give it a five is the wireless (wifi) needed to be reconnected several times when I first used the speaker, better now.

Let me start by saying that I'm not a audiophile nor am I a Bose fanatic or any speaker brand fanatic for that matter.
My quest for a wireless speaker started at a friends house when he demonstrated to me his wireless Sonos system. It was impressive! He had a multi-room multi-speaker system that sounded great and Sonos came highly recommended by him. I had to have something like that!
I pulled up the specs for the Sonos Play:1, it was wifi only. No bluetooth and no auxillary input? Sorry Sonos, I don't want to purchase a device that is designed to be limited in capability. I wanted to be able to use my speaker as more than just a cloud music player and I had two main use cases to meet: playing music (DLNA, Pandora, Amazon music, internet radio, etc) and playing audio from my wife's computer while watching movies or Netflix.
I spent quite some time looking up ways to make a Sonos work because when a friend recommends something to me, I don't want to scoff at it without first having a good reason to. I came across a couple of different options for playing computer audio to the Sonos, but they involved running a piece of software on a separate computer and then introducing an audio delay into the video which works in VLC, but was not an option for Netflix. I wanted to like the Sonos system, but I just couldn't see any way for me to make it work. I'm too much of a power user to be satisfied with just being able to play music over my speaker.
So that brought me to the 'Sonos alternatives' search in Google.
For the same price as the Sonos I get a speaker that supports wireless, bluetooth, and auxiliary. Mind = blown. I was pretty hesitant at first after seeing how new of a product it was and how little it supported vs the Sonos system, but it had the basics that I was looking for, specifically the auxiliary option and Amazon Music support, which is the only paid music subscription that my wife and I have.
I did demo the SoundTouch 10 in store before purchasing it after reading the 'no highs no lows, must be a bose' on so many Bose reviews, but honestly it sounded great to me, much better than I expected for such a small speaker. So I walked out with the last white SoundTouch 10 (after paying for it, of course) that my local Bust Buy had a few days before Christmas.
Christmas Eve came and my wife queued up Its a Wonderful Life with some family over and we were having a terrible time hearing it from her laptop speakers. After a few minutes, I convinced her to open her present from me early and boy was she excited! It took a few minutes to get the app installed, update the speaker, and then get it connected to her computer (via a handy 3.5mm spare auxiliary cable I had), but it worked wonders. One speaker sitting on the floor behind her laptop on we heard everything plain as day. In fact, I'm sure that with every bell ring during the movie sounded clear enough that several angels received their wings.
Last thing: the app is missing a lot of key features that I think would significantly improve my SoundTouch 10 experience including using custom playlists in Amazon Music and being able to build playlists from a DLNA source, but I'm told that the app and speaker are under active development and I've already seen at least one update to the app since we purchased it.
I would gladly recommend this to anyone.

BOSE did not disappoint when they developed the sound touch system. I have purchased several for work and personal and they are fantastic! I can use them anywhere. On a WiFi network you can use them together or manage separately. I love the different sizes (and powers!) available, As with any BOSE product -- they are amazing! Highly recommended. My only suggestion: Add a battery so they can be truly wireless when needed (outside on a starry night anyone?!) Thanks BOSE! Great product!

This is my first Bose product. I love it. The sound is great and I can use it with my MP3 player, or my phone with blue tooth or the radio stations it can pull in on wifi.

This is a speaker that puts our crisp, clear sound. I'm really impressed! The bluetooth switches automatically from my phone to my husband's with ease. It's always on and waiting, I never have to turn it on or reset the bluetooth connection. The volume usually needs to be adjusted, but that's it...and with the app you can adjust the volume from your phone. I don't even know where the remote is anymore, because you don't really need it.
Bottom line, great sound for the money and super easy to use!

I have three sound touch 10's. They sound great, are easy to set up and all play together. No speaker wire to run, what more could you ask for. I personally like the Bose sound better than all the other competitors in this space. Go take a listen for yourself.

What amazing sound out of a small speaker, fills the room. Setting up the wifi connections was easy and quick. Only thing I had to adjust is the standard level of bass is too high for my taste but threw the app it was easy to turn down.

i love the full range of sound on this small speaker. the base response is unbelievable. it sounded great in the store with the big open space and even better in the home. i love the preset button on top i have individual artist set from 1-6 from my Pandora which allow me to have quick access to my favorite artist without the need to take my phone out. Bluetooth has great range. i wish it had a DC port so i can use a portable battery to take with me on the road. its hard to leave the home without them.
