One thing we would recommend doing is trying another Bluetooth device to compare the results. If it works okay on another device, we'd suggest deleting the Bose speaker from the list of available Bluetooth products on the first device and initiate a new pairing. Very easy to connect using either wifi or Bluetooth. The bad part is the system has trouble powering on. It is a known issue, as others have complained about on various sites. I would've returned mine but the Sonos doesn't offer Bluetooth connectivity. I would recommend because of the audio but be prepared.
