Compared SoundTouch with SONOS and sound quality was clearly superior with the Bose. More range, stronger bass, clarity - all better. Bought specifically to bring the speaker system into an Alexa multiroom environment. That's what Bose says it can do. But reality is a little different. Only works with Bluetooth pairing, which is spotty and often drops. Re-pairing is hit or miss. I've had to reset the speaker a few times to get it to re-pair.

This is our second Bose product purchase and I can say it is awesome for the small size. Trust me when I say this as my home theater is equipped with Definitive Technology and this Bose puts out the most amazing sound for being so small compared to the speakers in my theater!

The sound quality is excellent. I don't use the bose app much, I just stream music via bluetooth.

I had no doubt that it was gonna be good, but the system is incredible. The app can get a little hinky sometimes, and I wish there were more presets. Other than that, the thing is killer.

For its size, it has nice bass. It was very easy to set up.

Elegant design with the incorporation of carbon fiber and flush buttons. It has the ability to play music from all your sources of music located anywhere in your residence. Perfect bass at all volumes, not too much or too little, but just right.

I initially purchased a Bose soundbar and subwoofer for our new large screen TV in the Family room - I wanted immersive sound in the Living room so used this there for complete coverage and awesome sound. Works very intuitively and is user friendly.

I have had Bose products in the past, so it made sense to consider the Soundtouch 30 when shopping for a new music source. Sound is crisp and clear. No distortion at higher volume levels. Pairs quickly and easily with my iPhone. I'm extremely content with my choice.

Wanted to replace and update our old Soundock. One of the best things about that product was the internal battery which allowed you to charge up and go! Sadly, this version, while it sounds and looks great and has Bluetooth connectivity, lacks the true portability of the old one.

When you hear the name Bose we tend to think top of the line sound experience. I purchased the Bose SoundTouch 30, the sound is quality, and this bad boy really is loud, considering the size. Only minuses I have to convey is that it needs more base, I think this is to make you purchase one of their added base additions. Another disappointment is that it doesn't have a iTunes automatic connection through phone app, it takes you through a journey to connect with iTunes. I find that disturbing and annoying. Also that it doesn't connect to my smart tv, which gets the thumb down. I'm giving them a four star when it could have been easily a three is because the thing really does put out large sound, and clarity is excellent. Hope you enjoyed my review and it helped.

Love the sound quality, it was well worth the price

Been a Bose user for years, anything from AM10 home speakers to portables. I had already bought the Bose Wave soundtouch radio and soundtouch 10 speaker before buying this. I looked at this before purchasing the 10 but didn't know if I really wanted to spend the $500 or not. After listening to it one more time, it went home with me. So now we have a nice trio of Bose Wi-Fi sound and Bluetooth if we just want to connect to a phone or IPad. Probably the only negative I can find with this or the soundtouch line is you can't play music from the soundtouch wave radio through the other two speakers. Maybe a software update later on will provide that. I am by no means disappointed though because of this. The sound of the Soundtouch 30 is pure awesome!! Very clear highs and nice rich tight base. Sounds like a $1000+ stereo system. Great job once again Bose, very happy owner here!!!
