I went to the Bose store to decide between this and the Soundtouch Wave. I played some Metallica through both and the Soundtouch 30 was the winner. The Wave sounded really good, but this one had the better overall sound and volume for the style of music I enjoy. Setup was easy for wifi and Bluetooth and it works great with my Amazon Echo Dot. I do wish the Soundtouch app worked better with Amazon Music Unlimited, but with the Echo Dot I suppose it doesn't matter.

The Bose SoundTouch 30 speaker is a very good speaker. I read the product reviews on the Best Buy site and have not been disappointed with my purchase. This is my 6th Bose speaker that I have purchased over the last 10 years and the quality and sound have always been great. The connection to the Blue Tooth app. is seamless and able to easily connect with both my IPhone and IPad.

Awesome sound. Amazing how this little speaker can fill the room. Easy pairing with Blue Tooth. Worth every penny if you enjoy listening to music.

Bluetooth, WiFi, or Wired speaker can fill home with sound or be taken outside for full yard coverage (neighbors too !). Good bass. Sounds good at low volume, doesnt distort at high volume. Kinda fussy to setup, but works really well once that hurdle is cleared. Six pre-setable stations are really handy.

This speaker rocks my world. It is IMPRESSIVE!! Its build quality is also up to par. I would occasionally have issues connecting with my other Bose speakers to effectively broadcast throughout the house, but if you have a little patience and the ability to trouble shoot - you'er going to love it~!

Nothing equals Bose sound. This was easy to set up and fills my large living/dining area will full, rich sound. Excellent bass.

After much research we narrowed it down to the Bose SoundTouch 30 and the Sonos play 5. While we feel they are both great products with great sound, the Bose 30 was the choice for us. Cosmetically it is just a better looking speaker. It’s 6 preset buttons make it so easy to play your choice of music with a single touch. Also having WiFi and Bluetooth is a big plus. Couldn’t be happier with our Bose.

Own 2 of the soundtouch 30 systems, as well as 1 of the soundtouch 20 systems. The quality is unbelievably great as expected from Bose brododucts. And if you hook them up thru your home WiFi system and control them with your smartphone and or tablet you have a lot more control as you can now play them individually or all at once with unlimited quantity of connection on any current WiFi systems.

Really easy setup, clean full sound, and fills the room like a stereo system would without taking up the space. Simple design but outstanding look for formal areas of the home, yet small enough to remain low profile if preferred . Use ours in the dinning/ fireplace area, on the secondary shelf of our sever. Sound permeates the room, but hard to locate source by casual inspection. Like all Bose products, the quality you receive is worth the price..... treat yourself...........

The bose sound is wonderful. Crisp clear and deep bass. Hands down best listening over sonos. Easy install plug it in. App downloads easy but the bose app is quirky and sometimes drives me crazy.

I am a bit biased to Bose. Always have been, however, for good reason. Bose has never let me down when it came to speakers. I did go back and forth in the store turning up the music between this one and the Sonos equivalent and had my daughter walk far away to tell me the difference and the Bose came out on top. I did buy 2 10's to have a true wireless surround experience at home and it's wonderful. Very easy to control through the Bose app. I have a 2 story house and the 30 alone is very loud and crisp. I never turn it up all the way and it still can be heard outside. I use Spotify and it can be controlled through the Spotify app or the Bose app. LOVE IT! I would buy 100 more if I could and didn't care about hearing loss.

Sound is as good as expected. Setup was painless and quick. Links easily to the library on our media PC via WiFi and to my iPhone via Bluetooth. Was a little pricey but has the best sound of all wireless systems.

The speaker both Wi-Fi and Airplay compatibility supports various different music services like apple music, pandora really wish it also supported sound cloud, other than that best speaker I have ever owned. It is too loud just for to have it in a bedroom though but I'm not complaining about that...but my mom on the other hand...

Bose really knocked this one out of the park!! This Three-Run Dinger would have been an easy GrandSlam if Bose had made the Remote Control with back-lit buttons for viewing in dimly lit rooms. But other than that small addition this unit literally ROCKS!!!! Extremely easy to set up and link through your home WiFi system and/or through a Bluetooth connection. You can also easily navigate back and forth between WiFi and Bluetooth for use in music playback and media viewing on your computer or a network connected TV. The sound reproduction is pure Bose that pays great respect to their legendary sound quality through their patented Wave Music Technology. Multiple SoundTouch units can be combined to enjoy synced playback throughout the home or with individual play selection in any room with a Soundtouch unit. Highly recommend and know you'll be more than happy with this Bose SoundTouch System. Purchase with confidence and enjoy!!

Bought 30 series for living room, after one day listeing, wife asked to get another one for bedroom. Pro, Easy setup - no issue for pairing with wifi or bluetooth Great sound - good for different styles of music; classic/ Pop/ country/ Jazz... Selection- itunes/ Amazion music/ spotify/ local radio station ... Flexibility - easy to move around, as long as within WiFi or Bluetooth coverage Con, - Pricy - Bose App Overall very pleased.

The quality of my Bose 30 is undeniable. After a brief set-up period, I had clear, crisp, rich sounds flowing my my new purchase. Internet radio and bluetooth selections from my I phone are received effortlessly. Developing my I heart and Pandora stations has been fun and exciting!

This is the best sound system I’ve ever own, it’s practical & convenient just a little heavy in the negative side. I have program number one memory for my cell phone, number two for my Pc and number three & four for my wife’s and daughter’s phones. Over all is nice and the sound is exceptional.

I always wanted a Bose. The sound and volume on this is superior! I am so happy with my Bose! It has great bass and treble. I rate this with 5 stars. Very satisfied!

I'm a huge Bose fan. I am a bit disappointed in the shallow sound. I have a previous version, the sound dock 10 which has much deeper and richer sound quality. I do like the fact that it has Bluetooth and wifi capabilities as well as an app to control device from your phone.
