Already had SoundTouch 20, but wanted something with more clarity and base. The SoundTouch 30 is great.

Easy to setup, but be patient and follow the directions- not only for the SoundTouch 30, but for the source of the wireless signal - i.e. Alexa, Bluetooth, etc. Take some time to insure that the “volume” / strength of the incoming signal (especially with Alexa) allows you to increase and decrease the volume of the music using the Bose volume control. A lower volume at the source will yield better base and treble. Own two units purchased a year apart, both are rated 5 star

I really like this product. The sound is great. I like the ability to connect wirelessly. I wish this product was a little easier to carry. There is no handle or space for carrying the product. That would make it an excellent. I'd buy it again!!!

This speaker is great! Great sound. I can connect my tv or my phone with ease. My only complaint is that it takes a few seconds to start up.

Room filling bass. Crystal clear. Feels like it has a stand alone woofer. Multi directional sound. Unbelievable.

THIS SPEAKER IS PRETTY GOOD. STILL NOT ABLE TO GET IT TO PLAY WITHOUT THE POWER CORD. I THOUGHT IT WOULD CHARGE UP AND THEN I COULD UNPLUG IT AND IT WOULD PLAY. SO FAR IT'S NOT DOING THAT. WILL CALL THE GEEKS TO SEE IF I'M DOING SOMETHING WRONG.

I have several SoundTouch products and the sound quality of the 30 is amazing (much better than Sonos if you listen to them side by side). Unfortunately, the app leaves little to be desired and, with the new Bose speakers, continued development of the SoundTouch line seems unlikely - the app is clunky and not very intuitive but the worst part is that is crashes constantly. My SoundTouch 10’s are still working flawlessly and easy to group via the app but the 30, which is the main speaker in my living area, loses connection to the app daily and requires a total reset via usb cable and my computer. The speaker is still connected to my network and works fine with Alexa and shows on my router as connected and receiving a strong signal but, for some reason, it cannot be found in the app which is the primary way to control playback and the only way to stream to multiple speakers. Bose will NOT stand by this product and are now asking me to pay for repairs which require shipping the speaker in and may take 3 weeks. The speaker is only about 1.5 years old and for the price paid, I would have expected it to last longer but it’s basically unusable as I have to connect it to my computer and reconnect it to the network manually every time I want to use it. I would NOT recommend the SoundTouch system to anyone looking for a solid, reliable whole home audio solution which is really disappointing because I love Bose products and have been incredibly loyal to the audio centric brand for many many years but it’s clear that while they make amazing speakers, they will never be able to compete on a software or customer service level. It pains me to say it because I’ve held out for so long but save yourself a headache and buy a Sonos that will be dependable and supported by the manufacturer, which will eventually outweigh the difference in sound quality.

The quality of the sound is perfect! You can’t go wrong with Bose. Downside is this is very heavy and bulky.

I got this for my dad and hes very happy with the product. He told me the volume goes up very high (very loud) while maintaining good sound.

This unit was easy to set up and start using. I wanted a simple solution for streaming music in a game room/space but wanted nice quality sound. I tried the Klipsch R 15PM first and found they had little midrange and their bass was muddy. This unit has rich sound at lower volumes and sounds great with acoustic and vocals. It loses something when you turn up the volume or play music with more instruments and vocals (bands). I would up buying a Onkyo stereo receiver and Polk RTi A3 bookshelf speakers. The speakers are big for bookshelf but have a similar sound to Bose on vocals and acoustic but better handled higher volumes and broader range of music. Still would say the Bose is good for a single room, even large, if mostly for chill music for relaxation, dinner music, casual party listening.

I bought this over a year ago and it sounds absolutely amazing. Tight bass crisp highs. Clean all around sound.

I've always been a Bose fan. This speaker was added to my Bose home theater system. With Bose sound touch, I can play music from my phone on both system at the same time. The audio is clean and crisp and the bass doesn't overpower other elements of the music. Sometimes some speakers tend to go heavy on the bass but Bose has it tuned to a point where it enhances the sound but not drown it. In the app, you can adjust the bass volume. That's a great feature too.
