I have an Onkyo Receiver 626 hooked up to my Bose Speakers in the living room. I didn't want to get a new system to integrate my other Bose SoundTouch amp or speakers. The Bose SoundTouch Link is perfect. It took about 10 minutes to hook up. Now my living room entertainment system is able to hook into my SoundTouch system. I can now listen to my music throughout the whole house without spending thousands of dollars for a new system.

Initially was skeptical, but having now purchased, was worth it and then some. I like being able to link the speaker I have hooked to it to play though the Bose app/system. In addition, if I just want to play straight to the speaker on Bluetooth, which I often do with a sleep timer on my iPhone at bedtime, this has doing so covered, too. All-in-all, a very portable and versatile and (thus far) reliable addition!

I tried a less expensive Bluetooth device that was supposed to have a 30' range and had to return it. This unit works as described plus. It does everything I need it to and has awesome range. I can carry my phone all over my backyard and not loose connection. I even left for a boat ride and it continued to play. I would highly recommend to anyone. Simple to hook up, set up and use.

If you want to update the software in Bose equipment, this is the fastest and most efficient way to do it. It is a shame they charge you $120+ to get this accessory, but it is what it is. Worth the money. It is hard to download all the software and then load it...so spend the money. I give it 4 stars, because I think Bose should offer a less expensive manner to hook these systems together.

We ran speaker wires to 4 locations years ago from one receiver. Added Bose Soundtouch speakers to other locations last year. This unit allows us to connect it all together! Legacy speakers and Soundtouch speakers are all on the same control now. We can listen to all of them together. Or, split them. This was cheaper than a new Soundtouch and allowed us to use existing speakers.

I purchased this to accompany my Bose Soundtouch 30 system. I have it connected to an older Bose Soundwave system that doesn't have Bluetooth. I love the way it links up with my Soundtouch 30 to synchronize music in multiple rooms of my house. Easy to use system. The only slightly negative I've noticed is I have to turn the Soundwave system volume higher when playing music from the SoundLink.

Like many, I have a collection of perfectly good old devices that I hate to discard becuase of advancing technology. Many do not care for the SoundTouch application, but I find it a relatively easy way to concentrateaccess to a variety of services, internet radio and computer music files. The new adapter brings older, and in my case beloved, equipment back to usefulness. I am very pleased.

Easily integrated with my other SoundTouch products and allowed me to easily and affordably incorporate an existing stereo system with my SoundTouch products so I can now have my music playing throughout my home (inside and out) all easily controlled through my smart phone, iPad and home computer. Love all the SoundTouch products from Bose.

Bose saved my wired Bose speakers from Extinction. This Bluetooth device works flawlessly. It connects quickly. The sound quality is the same wether using the bluetooth or directly wired. I cannot detect any sound loss so I am very pleased. It is also much less expensive than buying a new blue tooth Bose speaker so again I am very pleased.

The Wireless Link was an addition to my Sound Touch 10 speaker. I am now able to listen to the same program in multiple rooms. My Hi-fi is located in the basement where radio reception is very poor. Using the Link, I am now enjoying streaming music from several favorite stations. Set-up was relatively easy for Bluetooth and Wireless streaming.

Don't listen to what others say about it not being easy to set up. The instructions are easy to understand as long as you have the littlest understanding of electronics. I set it up with my Sony system and had no problems at all. I have a complete set of Bose speaker systems and worked with everything! It is a great help!

Just shy of third the cost of Sonos preamp this unit delivers in spades and arguably is the best value in Soundtouch portfolio. This will make your old receiver / amplifier streaming capable. Analog/digital connection will make this happen. The app is fast and offers the most popular services.

If you want to add streaming capabilities, bluetooth/wifi and internet radio stations to your old stereo system, the Bose Soundtouch Wireless is the most elegant solution. We needed to add these capabilities to an old Bose Lifestyle system and this device perfectly satisfied our needs.

I have a Soundtouch speaker in my home office and wanted to listen to the same music in my den and patio. I already had a sound system with ceiling speakers and this does the trick. I can also play the same music in both rooms or choose to play different stations.

I bought this because I had an old BOSE 5.1 speakers at home. It definitely made me the old system more up-to-date because of the streaming function. It was pricy. I believe you could found a cheaper one with the same function such as chrome audio.
