We purchased this set of headphones for my 16 year-old son after reading many negative reviews of the quality of craftsmanship of the Beats, by Dr. Dre. I am so glad we gave the Beats to my other son's girlfriend for Christmas! The Bose headphones produce a much richer, clearer sound and keep out more of the outside noise. They are not the 'top' model for Bose, so they are not completely noise-canceling, but it's very close! The soft material around the ear cup could be worn all day in comfort. (And he would too, if I'd let him! ) The platic material that makes up the band is sturdy and in no way flimsy or in danger of cracking from regular use. Other than a higher class in the Bose family, I don't believe these headphones could be beaten!

I was looking for a good pair of headphones that are convenient for travel. I have a couple of different pairs by other manufacturers that sound great, but aren't as easy to use while traveling. These Bose headphones fill both needs. Good sound quality, comfortable, transportable and at a reasonable price.

I bought these because I was looking for lightweight earphones with good sound for my wife to use on long flights. These seem to fit the bill nicely, and she's been very satisfied with them, though they were not quite as loud as she would have liked with the iPod on the plane.

I bought the Bose True Sound headphones online without even trying them out in-store, based on good reviews. Well those reviews were correct because these are excellent headphones! They sound very good and have a nice natural sound on music or on movie soundtracks (which was the main reason l bought them so as not to disturb the neighbors when I play movies late at night). I got the around-ear style that I like and these headphones are so comfortable that I could use them all day (reviewers were right again). They are an all around great product and even come with a nice carrying case. Superb quality.

I was in need of headphones for my workplace to limit some of the distractions and after a few trips to Best Buy I settled in on these and I am glad I did. The sound is well balanced and nothing overpowers one another. They sound great with a wide variety of music, but most of all they are comfortable. Extremely so. Especially for those who wear glasses. I can easily wear these for hours on end without discomfort due to wearing eyeglasses like I have ran into with other brands. Also the cable is an excellent length and if you are using iOS products the volume control and play/pause is an excellent addition.

For me personally, having to wear headphones for hours at a time due to the combination of work and school, I found these to be very comfortable and the quality of sound was much better than other competitors headphones. My girlfriend has a pair of the Bose noise canceling headphones (which are also a great investment) and listening to those several times compared to my friends Beats, I was set on purchasing a pair of Bose. This pair better fit my budget and I couldn't be more satisfied.

I bought these since I travel all the time and needed to drown out the airplane noise (and side conversations!). Ever since purchasing I can actually get some work done on the plane. I can concentrate, but they are not so "cancelling" that I can't tune into someone if I want to. Also, very comfortable, and amazing sound. I've starting using them all the time for other things. The only disappointment was in the fine print which said you shouldn't use with the airplane armrest as they could overheat. Since I bought them for the plane, kind of a bummer but I can live without watching Madmen reruns, or whatever junk they show. Definitely lives up to the Bose good name!

These are by far the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. With my previous pair of over-ear headphones, after about 45 minutes of use the rim of my ears would start to hurt. However, these headphones are incredibly light and have great padding, so I can wear them all day, even with my glasses on. I've had better sounding headphones, but they were much less comfortable and more expensive. For me, the added comfort from these is well worth a small drop in sound quality. The headphones have been very durable so far. I keep them in the case when not in use. I have the white/blue model and there has been some slight discoloration of the white plastic in one area, but it's not very noticeable. This usually happens eventually to anything made out of white plastic anyway. While the fact that the headphone cable disconnects from the headphones is nice, it's worth noting that this end of the cable has a proprietary plug that's slightly thinner than the standard 3.5mm headphone jack on the other end. This isn't too big a deal as long as you don't mind using the cable that comes with the headphones, and as long as you remember which end to plug into the headphones (it's the end that's closest to the volume controls). Unless it breaks, I can't imagine wanting to replace the cable anyway--the wire itself is very thin, and the plug is as well--just enough so to fit through the small hole around the headphone jack on my iPhone case.

Not only are these comfortable and have great sound, but they are an attractive color. I took another less expensive brand back and got these, and I am really satisfied now.

Bought these to use at work (and try something other than earbuds). They're comfortable and have pretty great sound (as to be expected from Bose). I wasn't blown away by the sound, but I also wasn't expecting extreme bass/studio quality. The included carrying case and the inline remote/mic are nice extras. Overall I'm satisfied with this set of headphones.

I spent a lot of time reviewing and testing out different headphones. The Bose options were by far the most comfortable sets I tried out. There were others, like the Beats Solo and V-Moda XS that felt comfortable during initial tests, but got uncomfortable after extended period of use. So I went with those Bose which I can wear all day during work without making my ears soar. And these Bose headphones sound great. So if comfort and extended wear is a must, I would definately recommend these.

I listen to music and podcasts all day, and I've been very impressed w/ these headphones, even if the music that I listen to is compressed MP3s. Nice, but not overwhelming bass, and they actually have some noise canceling qualities, even if they're not billed as such. I wish that the cord was a little shorter, actually, but I can see how a long cord would be preferable for a more stationary listener. I haven't used it for making a call, but it's supposed to work.

The sound is great. As usual for Bose. The headset is incredibly light and fits very comfortably. The only disadvantage is that it feels bit cheap.

i would recommend this for any one. light weight and the sound is excellent. very comfortable on the ears.

I got these to replace my beats solo headphones. These are on another level, comfort over the beats solo are obvious instantly. Great sound, comfort and quality. I wont be going back to the beats after these.

These headphones are great! They are lightweight, comfortable and with the volume on the cord, easy to adjust. The sound is excellent!

Amazing headphones. Sound 10x better than Beats. Aside from sound, they are extremely comfortable. These will not hurt your ears after wearing for an hour like BEats. Only comparing to Beats since everyone loves them and I want people to get an item thats worth the price. Try these out before purchasing any other headphone, you wont regret it

These are really great headphones for the price. They are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time, great sounding and good for canceling external noise. I also love the case for traveling.
