These headphones are very clear and responsive. The sound is very balanced and each part seems distinct. The bass is by no means over powering but this allows for long listening sessions as they do not fatigue your ears. The headphones themselves are very lightweight and the cups have a nice cushion to them. Sound leakage seems minimal but is noticeable in a quite room when the music is at higher volumes. Definitely recommend to someone who wants to be able to hear each part of the music and not a muddy mess of bass.

These headphones are much more comfortable than my previous set which were the on ear type. The previous ones were uncomfortable after an hour or two. These are just right for me. And of course they have great sound since they are Bose. Only improvement would be Bluetooth at this price. Best Buy even matched a sale price, score!

These headphones are the most comfortable headphones I have ever had - and I have had 6 different headphones in the past 6 years. I can wear them for over 5 hours and feel absolutely no discomfort. The quality of the sound is excellent. I find they work better than any headset I have tried for long Skype calls on my cell phone. The quality of these calls is very good both on my end and on the other party's end. The cord is just the right length for me, and the inline microphone is well placed next to my mouth. I strongly recommend them for both listening to music and making calls.

Great sounding headphones and fit really well over my ears. I tried several other brands and these head the best fit. They are also extremely lightweight which adds to comfort. I would recommend trying these on before you buy a different pair.

Great sound quality. Light weight. Fits very well around the ear without applying much pressure. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I was surprised by the sound these headphones gave me on my pc. I had to turn down the volume which was nice compared to my old headphones.

Great comfort and sound. Use them daily. The wire is very long, and must make sure it doesn't get caught in anything while wearing.

I got this headset and am while I impressed with the sound quality, it is not nearly as loud as my Yamaha Pro 500 headset. One advantage of this headset is that the in-line controls work with my Android phone (Yamaha controls only work on IOS devices) and another advantage is that you get passive noise cancellation that is good enough for every day use. Also, the headset is far lighter and more comfortable than my Yamaha Pro 500 headset. Overall, a good buy, but Yamaha sound is noticeably louder and bass is more pronounced than this Bose headset.

They are very light and comfortable - I think this is their greatest advantage; no headache after much listening - a big deal for me. They look stylish too. I still have mixed feelings regarding the sound quality: they sound good, but, given the price, I feel like they could do even better - somewhat clearer/crisper in the highs. They should sound much better than my $20 pair from Koss and than Bose SoundSport In-ear phones that I enjoy even more. In other words, I had higher expectations for sound, but that might be subjective.

hard to find plug in headphones, wireless are all the rage...these are great if you want or need plug in headphones. Sound is great and they are very comfortable.

I bought these headphones for my partner for Christmas and he loves the quality of sound as well as the compact case that protects them when traveling.

The sound quality is awesome and the headset is very comfortable.

I use these for work, almost exclusively for video conferencing. The mic is very clear and works very well, which was one of my main drivers for this particular set because of the aforementioned video conferences. The headphones have great sound quality, to the point that I now use these over my original Sony headphones (no mic) when I do music editing for my daughter's ice skating routines. Between the improved sound quality and blocking out ambient sound it is a much better experience. The sound canceling quality is almost too good, as when there are quiet points in the meetings, or before people show up, I can't hear ANYTHING, and it almost drives me crazy just hearing my own breathing and heart beating. Not the headphone's fault though! just doing it's job. They are also very comfortable when I have to wear them for meetings that will run up to 2 hours or more. So far have never gotten fatigued from having them on for long periods.

These headphones sound really great, although they sort of shape the sound, so I wouldn't recommend them for a purist. If that's not a concern for you, then these are an excellent choice. The built in mic is no good, so if you're interested in it, look for another product.

I was looking for lightweight, wired headphones without enhanced bass. These were more than I wanted to spend but I have been happy with the purchase, great sound and comfortable fit. I have other Bose products and have been very satisfied with most of their products.
