As with most Bose products I believe they are somewhat overpriced. Although they came with a carrying case and appear to be adequately constructed, I have concerns of their long term durability.

Good quality headphones

good sound dampening in my tractor

They are comfortable on the ear and are therefore good for long plane rides. I havent used the iphone/ipod adapter buttons or microphone features yet.
