A good sound and soft headphones. The only thing to complain about is the price.

These headphones have been fantastic. My brother tried to convince me to get wireless and I wasn't keen on spending an extra $100 for something that wasn't important to me. I primarily bought these for airports and long flights instead of my iPhone earbuds, but I've used them for work and leisure around the house because they're so comfortable and compact. They are adjustable to different headsizes (length wise) and the only thing I dislike is that you have to "close" them so they fit properly back in the carrying case for storage. I'd like to be able to keep it at my adjusted length but it's not a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking to stay away from Beats' costs and want something comfortable and worth their money. (My boyfriend has even been borrowing them because they're so comfy - and he has a big head where most hat sizes don't even fit so this is a big deal!)

Great headphones to be used with your iPhone, iPad (they include Apple control). Also, they are excellent in the airplane (convenient pouch is included).

When it's that time to sit back and enjoy the music these are excellent headphones. I personally don't like in ear buds, although I have some Monsters that are pretty good for the occassional listen. I prefer being somewhat isolated from the outside world when enjoying music or a video. What makes these Bose headphones so superior is that they are wonderfully lightweight and very soft and comfortable on the head and ears. Of course the sound is what you would expect from Bose, very crisp, clear and rich. I also have some Beats that were more expensive. They aren't nearly as comfortable as the Bose, and I prefer the crisp Bose sound to the heavy over bassed Beats sound.

This is my second bose headset and I am always happy with the product. Bose makes high quality headsets and it's worth every penny of it. I highly recommend this headset if you want clear sounds with balance volume.

These headphones are some of the best i've ever owned. They are as good as the noise cancelling version and they don't have the technology. They are very comfortable, however you do realize they're there.

I absolutely love the headphones. Warm and Cozy! I haven't used them in a while. These are great for the winter. They keep my ears from preventing frostbites.

My husband wears these while vacuuming and doing yard work. You can't beat Bose sound quality and noise cancellation.

I've owned several different low to high end over the ear headphones over the years from Koss, Bose, Skullcandy and Beats, and I was genuinely surprised by the clarity these headphones provide. I have to admit, I read many reviews after my dog chewed up my Beats by Dre Solo on ear headphones... and didn't want to drop over $200 on headphones that would likely suffer the same fate, if not sound much better than my previous ones. I was very close to getting the noise cancelling Beats Studios from Costco for $240~, but couldn't justify it and went over to best buy to test out the competition. I was pleasantly surprised by these over ears! Firstly, these are very comfortable and lightweight. The design is more minimalist than many of the other "fashion" headphones out there, and its nice because they are low profile and very comfortable for long periods of use. The cord is a little long, but I'm tall so its much more welcome than the opposite problem... Everyone says these are a little on the flatter side, and don't provide the whopping bass that many of the Beats and other headphones seem to aim to provide... I would have to agree, but on a positive note. By sacrificing a little bass, just a little, these gain a ton of depth and clarity to where its less about "feeling" the bass and more about "hearing" it! I'm into many different genres of music and these tend to match any genre well, versus the beats being more one-dimensional. Another thing mentioned on the reviews I disagree with is the fact that these don't block out much noise. Maybe it is because I came from primarily using On-Ear headphones prior to these, but I find these (even without the noise-cancellation) to block out most if not all white noise around. I'm sure there are nicer headphones out there, but I doubt for the price there is much better. I would rather sacrifice on the "image" a tad to gain on comfort and sound clarity any day! And to be honest, the matte black ones are still pretty cool looking too (IMHO). If you like sound clarity and lightweight, comfortable over ear headphones you can wear for hours on end without sore ears, look no further. If you want pounding, heavy bass and a more rigid design, you might want to look elsewhere. But for $150, these "Beat" out anything close in the pricerange.

These aren't the greatest headphones ever, but they are good for the price and very comfortable.

When it comes to true sound, nothing (beats) Bose SoundTrue Headphones. While other headphones overpower you with heavy bass, Bose delivers all levels.

A recent reviewer mentioned not being able to get a replacement cord. Bose does sell this cord. That is one of the best features about the new SoundTrues. The previous version (AE1) you had to buy new headphones or send them in for repair. You can buy the new cable in matching colors to your headphone. The cost is high, though, at $30. These may not be the very best audio quality, but they are the most comfortable of headphones---even moreso than Bose QC25 which weigh more.
