I needed new headphones that were more portable than the giant, unfoldable ones I had. I was going to buy another brand, but my mom convinced me to drop more money on Bose because it's a brand she trusts, and I trust as well. It was a lot of money to spend, but it's been worth it. The only downside, is that they are not noise cancelling headphones, so you can still hear a lot of what is going on around you. Other than that, the sound quality is amazing. So much so, that I thought there might have been something wrong with them at first, but it was the upgrade from headphones that were good, to headphones that were great, and I could hear so much more bass and clarity from many songs. The biggest plus is the carrying case, and how portable they are in my backpack or bag.
