Great headphones, but pricey

These headphones sound great, but with a 30 dollar difference with the Bose SoundSport, these don't seem to be a great deal. I owned a pair of SoundSport which I accidentally destroyed and thus had to buy new ones. Being very pleased and happy with my SoundSports, I decided to take a chance on the Ultras, thinking that they would be even better than my previous ones.
Now these headphones are comfortable and sound great, like all Bose products, but they just don't seem to be any improvement over the SoundSports.

Sounds good, comfortable set. A bit pricey. Hopefully a lot more reliable from my last set of Bose.

Good Headphones, just ok microphone

After reading all of the reviews on this product, it has lived up to the headphone sound quality and compact size reviews but taking phone calls with the microphone is where it falls short. The call quality is just average and maybe a little below. If you only need these to listen to music then you will be good purchasing these, but if you want them for an all around phone and music headphones then you may want to reconsider.

I purchased these to use on a recent flight. They worked great. The noise cancelling feature was wonderful. The sound quality is what you would expect from Bose.

These were a great purchase if you can get used to the seal it creates for your ears. Sound quality is great, cord is long.

These headphones are just awesome. I wear them all day at work without ear fatigue. I do have to remove them slow as mine actually seal in my ear( but I expected as much since they are meant for running). I did have the slightly cheaper ones prior and love those a little but more. The main reason is these have a T shaped splitter that I'm still wary of though I have yet to have an issue.

Great headphones as you would expect from Bose... I'm not so into the earbuds, though, because they really do block out all outside sound. Otherwise, fantastic!

My Dad is a lover of music and anything that relates to it. For Christmas, he wanted a pair of in-ear headphones that had clear, quality sound and great bass. And these Bose headphones delivered just that and more... He can’t stop talking about how great they are! Whether you’re buying the headphones for yourself or as a gift, you won’t be disappointed.

You can get better earphones for the money. These had a slightly muffled sound compared to Sennheiser and Klipsch brands in the same price range. Overall, I rate them 3 stars or a B- , although depending upon your taste, you may like the sound and comfort level.
on that note, I would recommend these to others, after recommending the 2 other brands mentioned above.
I actually bought the Klipsch R6 Wireless at Best Buy and love the sound over the Bose.

these were comfortable in the ear (don't go near as deep in the ear as others). they provided ok sound isolation (good enough to mow the lawn with them).
i wanted to like these. ultimately, though, the cord felt flimsy, and i just didn't love the sound. i ended up going with another brand that provided far superior sound/features/build for the same price.

I am a musician and use these for in-ear monitors on stage and are liking what I hear. They are by far, the best earbuds I've used and though they're not the $400 3-way-driver buds I've used in the past, they are a reasonably close second. What I really like is the full range sound, good low end and exterior noise reduction they provide.

I have been buying these for the past 3ish generations of them. I love how they fit in my ear and I haven't really had issues with them other than occasionally misplacing them. They sound good and stay true to the Bose brand. I have already gotten my sister to buy a pair and I bought a pair for my mother as well.

For the reasonable $130 price tag, you are getting a very solid product. I owned the previous model of this mouse, the regular SoundTrue's. If you're familiar with that product, then you should feel right at home.
There are really only 2 differences between this and the old model. First are the ear tips, which isolate a lot more sound compared to the older version and are more comfortable to me in the short run, but after maybe a few hours of having them in, my ears will start to get a little sore. And second, the junction where the main cord splits off into the left and right ear pieces. Instead of splitting of forward, the new ones split off into a T shape, which isn't a very good design in my opinion. Even with the carrying case that comes with it, the shape of the splitter makes it difficult to wrap up very compactly.
