Extremely dissatisfied. I bought this pair of Earbuds on 11/24/20. The hook on the charging case responsible for holding the case closed so the Earbuds can charge, snapped off in the case. Now the Earbuds will not charge even when the box is taped closed. If you look closely you can see the piece that snapped off still embedded in the case. They lasted 14 moths. I bought Bose thinking they would be higher quality.

I am one of those people who struggle with finding earphones to fit my ears. I have been through all of the major brands, including Samsung, Apple, and JBL, but there was always something wrong. For example, only one ear fits while the other ear falls out, some are uncomfortable to wear, some don't fit at all, or the different sizes of earbuds don't fit right. This is even WORSE when I jogged. I'm happy that I gave Bose Sport Earbuds a try. The wing tips on them are excellent and they stay in even during strenuous workouts. The sound quality is great, and they are comfortable to wear (even though they can feel a little bulky). These are the best-fitting earphones I have had in my life. Here are the cons: 1. they don't have Bluetooth multipoint. 2. they take a while to connect to the device. 3. Occasionally, people on the other end of a call complain about not hearing me clearly, but despite this, I keep them because I mainly use them while working out. 4. It takes a while to learn the different actions to pause/play music, pick up/end call, volume, etc. Weirdly, the right side has most of the actions, while the left side has a few. Overall, they are comfortable, don't fall out during workouts, and the sound quality is great. The downside is that they could be more intuitively user-friendly and, at the price point and brand, lack some basic expected functionalities such as multipoint Bluetooth connection.

    Great noise canceling

I am always looking for a wireless noise canceling ear buds for my devices. I enjoy my AirPods but they are a little too big for my ears, and they seem to slip out at any movement of my head. I was excited to try these Bose Sport Earbuds and was happy tryst they fit well in my small sized ears. After a few weeks here are my thoughts. Pros: -Easy set up. So before I was able to use them, you download the Bose App to maximize the effects and usage of these buds. Connection to my devices (both Apple and Android) were effortless. -Rich sound: they offer such a nice rich sound, weather watching a movie, tv show, or listening to music, all around sound quality is amazing. When using for phone calls, the bass is not too high and I can hear the other callers really well. -Noise cancelling: this is where I feel they truly shine as an earbud. I was watching my Lakers on my tablet in the restroom because we have an air filter that turns on with the light switch, which can get rather loud. Testing them in that room, I was able to still hear the play by play without any straining (no pun intended). I then transitioned to watch a Star Wars movie and again was met with such clarity of sound, hearing the mix of dialogue and music while subduing that fan noise. Moving onto my music library I was able to get a great sound listening to some AC/DC guitar playing and not having to increase the volume to much because the noise cancelling was amazing. -Fit: as stated before, these Bose Earbuds fit really well in my ear. They feel comfortable and they come with two sizes for wingtips. The default wing tips are the smaller ones and they fit nice and I was able to do some light jogging with the, on, not feeling them loose or about to fall out. This is a major plus for me as my AirPods feel weird because of their size, along with the stem touching my cheeks. Mixed feelings -Wireless charging/battery life. They come with a charging case, the earbuds themselves gives you decent battery life. I timed it to about 5.5 hours of constant use before they needed to be recharged. I wish they were just a little more in the battery life, maybe an extra 2 hours for those who take cross country flights, a solid 8 hours would have been ideal. Overall, I am really excited at Bose’s Sport Earbuds.

Sound Great and Stay In Ear

These are great for what I wanted them to be: sound good and stay in my ears. I was using the galaxy buds+, which sound good and have a ridiculously long battery life. The problem was anytime I moved my jaw, they would be pushed out slightly, breaking the nice snug fit to my ears, then needing to be pushed back in. It's very annoying. I have a pair of wired bose earbuds with the stay fit connector and they are what I wanted to find for my samsung buds, but no such luck finding a third party attachment. So I got these knowing bose has great sound and for the stay fit. They work great! Exactly what I wanted. Only wish I bought these before purchasing the samsung buds, saving me the hassle and money. Also wish the touch inputs were as good as the samsung buds. With the bose you can't skip and pause using the same earbud, unlike the samsungs where you can pause skip and go back using only 1 earbud. Still, I got what I wanted so I'm happy. Bose also updated the app to support EQ adjustments and that is awesome!

I sometimes have trouble with them connecting and if I record anything the video will “stutter” before it actually records other than that they are great. They fit comfortably in my ears and they do not fall out when I’m working out. The charge lasts me about 4-5 days depending how many times I use them. They charge really fast so 15 minutes of charging will definitely give you about 3-4 hours of playtime. They do get rid of background noise. I had my girl yelling at me for a good 5 minutes cause I couldn’t hear her through my earbuds that were at half volume.

Bose Sport Earbuds Always excited to get my hands on a quality product like Bose. This was no exception. So out of the box you get a nice case that holds your earbuds very securely via a magnet and the case has a pairing button to pair to your phone. The case is durable and will charge your buds multiple times. Once the buds are drained of power, you can put into the case for a quick charge, (15 min. gets you about 2 hours) or with a full charge the case can charge your earbuds 2 more times (10 hr.’s of additional use) Paring was easy. Download the Bose Music app and it walks you through the set-up. You then hear a voice confirmation in your ear that you are connected and the battery level. The app is pretty basic. No EQ as some apps contain as Bose has built in Active EQ. Quite honestly, I don’t feel a need for a separate EQ as I can always go to the sound setting on my phone to change that if needed. (Samsung S20) No buttons on these, instead you have a simple touch interface. Right bud: Double-tap to play or pause music and to answer calls. Long press to activate your assistant feature. (Siri or Google Assistant) Left earbud: Double-tap to hear your battery level or skip forward (you can Choose in the Bose Music app). All Volume control is done on your device. I really would have liked an option to change the volume on the earbuds themselves. The touch sensors on each Bud work well and are not overly sensitive like others I have tried in the past. If the In-Ear Detection is on, (you can change in settings) once you remove the right earbud the music will pause and start back up once you return to your ear. I turned this feature off myself, so I could take out the right and leave in the left only to hear music in one ear. I often have the need to use my other ear for office calls etc. This brings me to a downfall in my opinion. The mic for phone calls is only contained in the right earbud. So, if I only have my left earbud in, I cannot use for calls. Call quality is truly clear on my side but a couple callers say if anything it is too loud on their side. Unfortunately, there is no setting to turn down the mic output. If I use throughout the day the charge lasts about 5-6 hr. (Not constant music use, but never turned off either). Sound quality is exceptionally good as you expect from Bose. High, middle and low end all sound very crisp and clear. FIT - this is not good for me for activity. I've tried all different sizes of the tips and I feel they really have to be pushed him in deep to get them to stay even for regular use. Perhaps this is just my anatomy and you will have better luck. I do have larger ears that do not have defined curves for the StayHear Max Tips to push against. (I will include pictures). If I use at my desk or simply walking around the house for the most part they stay in, but the minute I start any medium activity they tend to fall out. Not good since they are supposed to be for working out / sports. It would be nice to have an over-the-ear clip option of some kind for consumers in my situation. I would also like an option to hold them together somehow (string / cord), so if they do fall out, they do not land on the ground somewhere. Note that they are also on the larger size for earbuds, so be aware of that. They are comfortable for long use. These are not noise cancelling but do a real good sealing out surrounding sound. I see no need myself to have the noise cancel feature unless perhaps you fly with them. Sorry, no flights recently due to Covid. The Bose Sports are sweat / weatherproof. (Note these are IPX4, not Waterproof) Bluetooth is strong and has a better range than most others I have tried. I can walk almost anywhere in the house with no connection issues. Overall, it may truly depend on your ears for fit. I could not use for running / jogging that is for sure, so If you have ears like mine, I cannot recommend for working out. But if you have a more defined ear shape that allows the internal ear hook to fall into/behind, then you may be the consumer for these. Due to the fit for me, I had to remove 2 stars. ~Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews

Pros: -Case has a great battery life. Lasts for a long time and does a pretty quick job of charging. -Three pairs of rubber ear inserts to help dial in the fit so that you can wear these and fill confident they won't fall out while active. -Great sound with a good range from bass to treble that stays crisp. Cons: -You can listen to only one bud if you want, but only the right bud. I work 12 hour shifts and it would be great if I could use one bud and then when it died, switch the other bud out and charge the dead bud. You can only listen to the right ear solo, left but has to have the right bud as well. -The controls on the buds, which are just touch response, are not very good. I often have issues trying to get them to pause or turn up and down. While functional, it seems it could be more responsive in the touch. The other part is that you loose half of the function if only listening to one bud. If you only have the right bud in, there isn't a way to change songs. Summary: Overall, they are a good option to get quality sound from Bose. They offer a clean range of sound and for that they get 4 stars. If you plan to always have two buds in, then these are a fantastic option.

I love these headphones because they fit perfectly in my ears without falling out. There is absolutely no discomfort, I can wear these for hours, compared to other headphones, which hurt after a while. I have always worked out with Bose earbuds because they are the best. The only thing I wish it had were physical buttons because the touch gestures don’t always work for me. Sometimes the headphones don’t connect right away to my phone, that can get annoying sometimes but it’s not a big deal to me.

My wife purchased these BOSE Sports earbuds today 09-05-2021 for our 23rd Anniversary. I have been a BOSE fan for many years. Once I went BOSE I could never go back to anything else nor would I want to sacrifice my listening experience with anything less than BOSE. From BOSE surround sound speaker system to BOSE PC speakers to earbuds both wired and wireless and portable wireless speakers. It must be BOSE or nothing. The charging lid for my older model BOSE wireless earbuds broke but the earbuds were still good. My wife noticed that my case broke and decided to replace it with New and improved Sports wireless earbuds. She knows how I feel about my BOSE “anything”. I’m one happy man and blessed to have such a wonderful wife that cares enough to make me happy. I wouldn’t trade her for the world! I recommend this product. You pay for what you get, think about that. I am a King and I deserve nothing but the best. This King loves Premium sound. This King loves BOSE! They actually sound better than my older model BOSE SoundSport wireless earbuds which I treasured. The new BOSE Sports earbuds are smaller and so is the case. I like that. Love the Baltic blue she picked out for me. While we were at Bestbuy I also tried out the BOSE sunglasses with built-in speakers. Those are next on my list to purchase after I get my contacts. I bought this pair of headphones for workout, cycling, walking and running, it has been a good choose and I think it worth every penny I paid, here is my review. Pros: 1. Very easy to pair with your phone. 2. Battery life is good enough for me ( 1.5 hour workout) , don't be scared seeing 10% drop after 5 minutes use, this is how their software works. 3. Case has rubberized surface, and feels great. 4. It is comfortable to wear after a period of use, and stays in my ear during work out. 5. Multiple color choices, I love like lime color, it is unique. 6. Sound quality is good. Cons: 1. If you get it new, the headphones are loose because of the silicon is slippery. 2. It's hard to wear for new user, you need to adjust carefully to make sure it is seated in your ear. I use different size of silicons due to my weird shape of my ears. 3. Their software is not stable and sometime will disable your left headphone, you will need to reinstall the app to fix it. 4. Double tap could have more options, it is useless for me. 5. Left headphone does not have any sensor, it relies on the R to connect. You will experience lag under some circumstances when you put it on.

They are so close to perfect. For years, I have used the wireless Bose Sport Earbuds that have a cord holding them together so they could lay around your neck when not in use, and I loved them. I felt like I had the best of both worlds. They no longer make them, so I tried the completely wireless. The thing that makes them awesome is the ear design that hooks in and keeps them in place. I can actually run with them without fear of them falling out. They also have that rich, Bose sound. That makes them a 5 star, but… I miss being able to take them out without having to put them in their case. Also, the volume isn’t as easy to operate. Sometimes, it doesn’t recognize my swipe up/down. Then, if I accidentally bump my left side with my hand when I’m running hands through my hair or something, it advances to the next song. Sometimes, the calls aren’t as clear for the other person. I hear great, but sometimes I’ll have to rework them to their case to reset and then put them back in to get clear sound for the person on the other end. I love the set. I really do. They’re just so close to perfect.

I didn't expect these earbuds to truly live up to their claim that they would stay in my ear while I was working out. Good News! They really do stay in my ears while I workout. Additionally, they sound great too. Battery life seems to be outstanding. I'm very impressed. I have Galaxy Earbuds, which also sound very good, but fail to stay in my ear, even if I'm just sitting. Comfort is where the Bose Sport Earbuds really excel. They are comfortable in my ears, that I sometimes forget that I'm wearing them and that for me, is amazing. Controllers are another area where I feel the Bose did great. You can turn the volume up or down with a swipe, double-tap to pause, or end a phone call. This was a major sure fall for my Galaxy buds, the touch features are often intermittent or glitchy.

I bought these because I had worn out my last pair. I enjoy how low profile these are and the snug fit in my ears. They are very comfortable to ware and the sound quality is fantastic. However, the new touch controls leave a lot to be desired. Many times when I double tap to pause they continue to play and the volume controls are hit or miss.

These are extremely comfortable wireless earbuds that can be used over extended periods of time without cause discomfort. Sound is great, bass levels are good, better than other comparable brands. Fits snugly and doesn't protrude out as much either. Noise cancelling is great when listening to much although call quality does sound somewhat echoed. Overall great earbuds.

Absolutely love the sound out of these sports earbuds. The fitment options are spot on for me and way better than having to shove other styles into my ear. These feel better and wish I had these sooner. Other brands made my ear feel like there was pressure built up and would constantly fall out either sitting still or moving around. With these I don’t have those issues anymore! Connection was easy right out of the box and was up and running in just a few minutes. I tried playing all kinds of things through them just to make sure I had the right sound adjustments made to fit my hearing and that was easy to use as well. The sound quality is everything Bose stands for and highly recommend these for anyone who is constantly on the go.

I got these based on the Bose name for use when I travel to listen to movies or music while flying but after multiple uses I am not as impressed as I expected to be. They fit good and once they are adjusted in your ear they do not move. I used them for multiple hours on my last flight and I could still hear a lot of cabin noise even with them fully seated in my ears. I also had a chance to use them while exercising and they didn't move at all while exercising. The touch controls on the sides aren't as robust as other wireless earbuds I have had in the past and there is very little customization of this even when you install the Bose apps. They connected very easily to my phone as well as tablet and if they aren't quickly synched up I just hit the Bluetooth button inside the case and then can quickly select them on whichever device I am using at the time. Overall I think there are better earbuds available for this price if you want to use them for entertainment purposes watching movies and listening to music in loud places. They also don't offer wireless charging with multiple other pairs of earbuds my wife and I own does offer which has become a welcomed convenience.

    Underwhelming earbuds that underperform

In the box you get your Bose Sport Earbuds and 3 sets of eartips (S, M, L), the charging case, USB-C to USB-A charging cable, and recommended to download the Bose Music app from your devices' App Store. These earbuds are not at all what I would have expected from Bose, and trust me I'm a fan of Bose products. These are absolutely poor earbuds that don't perform up to the expectations of their selling price or to the rich quality of Bose. I have an iPhone XR and the earbuds were able to pair up quickly and I was ready to go. I like the pill case for housing and charging the earbuds because it keeps them protected well when they're not being used in my ears. The issues started to occur when I placed these into my ears. These can't stay put in my ears without constantly falling out. I know this is an anatomical issue that each person will have with his/her ear and shape. I have tried all 3 of the eartips provided and can't find a fit that works and I feel that is due to the poor design of these ear tips. The umbrella tip is far too bulbous, and according to Bose it's what they offer as the best suited fit for most to all ear types/shapes. The material used in these StayHear Max tips is not very good silicone. I compare the current tips on the Sport Earbuds to a pair of MIE2 Bose headphones that fit extremely well in my ears and never fall out. Not sure why the design team made such a flawed umbrella tip design that just doesn't work well, and has too much material to fit into/onto the canal area comfortably. These are supposed to be sport headphones for moving and running, but I can't trust these to stay in my ears when I walk from my desk to the fridge because they fall out. Let alone the design of these earbuds is just too bulky and not very form fitting or pleasant to look at. I feel like I look like Shrek when I'm wearing these because they look like bolts coming out of my ears. As for the simple touch controls on these headphones, the features are truly underwhelming. Your right ear bud gives you Siri with one tap. Also a double tap on the right earbud answers a call, since this also is the side with the microphone. One nice feature is that in the Bose Music app you can toggle on/off a feature to stop the music when the earbud senses it is not in your ear any longer. The double tap starts or stops your music when listening to music. The left earbud is next to useless because the touch feature you can set is either 1) to skip forward a song or 2) hear your battery level. As for changing the volume on your earbuds, you will need to rely on your device. I was baffled by this shortcoming for a pair of headphones like Bose. If I'm using Bluetooth wireless earbuds, I'm using them because I don't want to reach for my device to control the volume up or down, or to unlock my phone to replay a song or forward a song. Bose dropped the ball on the touch features because they are lacking severely on innovation and technology at this space and price point. You can activate Siri, accept a phone call, play/pause music, skip a track. That's all the features built into the touch capability. You are not able to adjust volume up/down, replay a song, active ANC (because it's not offered), or bring up a built in equalizer sound setting preference. So let's get to the sound quality next. The musical genres I listen to are various and I felt like these earbuds offer just mediocre sound. Nothing that is extra crisp for clarity allowing you to hear low tones or high tones. The bass capability on these is lacking as well, and it's quite disappointing. Bose packages these earbuds as "volume optimized Active EQ" earbuds for an overall quality sound. I think the sound is just ok, and I have found better sound and depth to the same music and songs I listen to on other wireless earbuds that cost less than half of these. I have noticed that there is a lag on these Sport Earbuds that when you click the volume up/down on your device it takes a second for the earbuds to respond with a delay. Again, since my device is the only way I can control any volume this is another poor user experience. Another glitch I'm seeing on a continual basis is the volume resets on the headphones to a higher volume setting than when you left the phone earlier. My iPhone has the ringer and device volumes set to low. Any time that I get a new email or notification the chime is coming in at 100% volume on my earbuds, which can be harshly loud when you're working. One good thing is that you can pull out only one of the earbuds from the case and have that work independently for listening to audio. If you want to have a chat, you'll need to make sure the right earbud is the one you pull out since that has the microphone on it. The Bose Music app allows you to see the battery levels for the independent earbuds so that's helpful to see visually. The app doesn't have many features to it that make it an app to accentuate the listening experience. Other audio makers have apps that offer listening customizations or preferred audio controls to space out your sound. This Bose Music app doesn't offer any advanced features at all besides being a place to see battery levels or to instruct what your left tap will do on the left earbud. As for making a phone call, the sound is acceptable and the microphone picks up my speech well so the other receiving party can hear my voice well. This is a great microphone for phone calls and using it for work conference video calls for example. I'm happy with the audio quality in phone and video calls. Overall I had high hopes for Bose Sport Earbuds. These carry the Bose name on the side of the earbuds so it portrays a high quality product and will impress others. As a user/owner of these I just was not impressed with the fit, sound quality, touch features, or the lackluster app. I'm hoping that there will be many app updates that will make these headphones better for audiophiles that enjoy listening to music or videos. Sorry for the long winded review, but I hope this helps to make an educated purchase. PRO: Nice charging case Good clarity on audio phone/video calls CON: Underwhelming Bose Music app Mediocre sound quality Poor comfort and fit Lacking buttons and lack of advanced touch controls Size and bulk doesn't look appealing

They sound good, really good sound stage for IEMs. They stay in my ears when active, which is very important for sport earbuds. I am able to wear them for long periods without my ears hurting or having a residual feeling of their impression in my eardrum after use. The samsung bud pros were really bad about this, with the sensation lasting for several hours after just 1 hour of use. Why 2 stars then? The connection experience is absolute trash. Sometimes only one ear will connect, which requires putting them back in the container, turning bluetooth off on all paired devices within 30 feet, waiting and then reconnecting. Staying connected is fine, but getting connected(especially if you swap between multiple devices) is such a horrible experience that I am showing real restraint in not giving these 1 star. I am actually really upset about this, despite them doing everything else really well. Maybe 2 stars is harsh, but it's 2023, bluetooth is not a difficult or blossoming technology, there is no excuse for making it this badly.
