Exceptional Sound and Unmatched Comfort!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Bose Ultra Open-Ear True Wireless Earbuds for a few weeks now, and they are absolutely incredible! The open-ear design is a game-changer, allowing me to stay aware of my surroundings while enjoying rich, high-quality sound. Bose has nailed it with their signature audio clarity—every note and beat sounds crisp and immersive. Pros: Comfort: These earbuds are so lightweight and comfortable that I sometimes forget I’m wearing them. Perfect for long listening sessions! Sound Quality: The bass is surprisingly robust for open-ear earbuds, and the mids and highs are clear without being harsh. Build: The White Smoke finish looks sleek and premium, and the earbuds feel durable. Battery Life: I’ve been able to use them for hours without needing to recharge, which is a huge plus. Cons: Noise Isolation: Because of the open-ear design, they aren’t ideal for very noisy environments. But that’s a fair trade-off for the safety and awareness they offer. Overall, these earbuds are perfect for anyone who prioritizes comfort and situational awareness without compromising sound quality. Highly recommend for daily use, workouts, or commuting. Bose has once again set a high bar for audio technology!

Great open ear headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headphones are great I hate wearing in the ear headphones and I can't wear over the ear headphones at my job. I won't lie my ears did hurt for maybe the first few days wearing them until I got used to them but after that they are fine. I have no issues with them staying on. I like how I can turn the volume up and still hear around me. Now if I have the volume to high I won't be able to hear around me. The battery life for using the immersive modes drains pretty quickly. I usually have it off while I'm at work and the battery life lasts maybe about 6 hours. If your case is charged then you can throw them on the charger for like 10-15 mins and get another 5-6 hours at of them so they do charge fast. I also like how they have a physical button to actually press for volume. The sound quality isn't bad. It's better in the still or motion but even off it's not bad. I have had a few issues with connecting to my phone. Every so often I would get static in the headphones but I would just turn them off or put them back on the charger and they would be fine. Like any wireless headphones they have disconnected on me once or twice without saying anything. I can only connect them to one device at a time but I have no problems with switching between them. There is a Bose app you can use to change your preferences and it's pretty simple and easy to use.

Bose ultra
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll go. I have 15 days with them and I like them too much but the defect is in the calls that people don't listen to you and although it's a free hearing aid in the environment it can help to cancel the voice for the calls , always struggling with the same , so it would be good to have a new update for a voice cancellation I get annoyed to struggle all the time with the calls and unfortunately I have to disconnect from them and they can listen me...

Posted .Hi Jonas, I'm glad you like the general sound performance of your Ultra Open Earbuds! If people aren't hearing you well on calls, be sure to download the latest firmware update via the Bose app. Firmware version 4.0.22 (or later) is designed to improve the customer's experience on calls. As long as the environment you're in isn't overly loud, your earbuds will help you make clear, understandable calls. I hope this is useful; if you need further assistance, our support team will be happy to help. Warm regards, Fiona M. - Bose Customer Support

Awesome earbuds for awareness
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying these are not for everyone. These are awesome earbuds depending on your needs. The sound is crisp, the battery life is great, bass is good. How they clip onto your ear is very cool and innovative. I can wear these headphones at work the entire 12 hours comfortably. They are very pricey but worth it to me because I need to be aware of my surroundings and the sound is amazing. I turned on the immersive feature and it’s like you have music playing in your head, I love it. Again, very pricey at $300.00 but what do you expect they are Bose. No noise canceling on these for obvious reasons. If you like to jog outside or want to use them for work these are perfect for you. If you’re looking for perfect sound/bass with noise canceling do not buy these. There are a ton of better options. These are specifically meant for people who want to be aware of outside noises/surroundings. If you have issues with real earbuds falling out or are hurting your ears, these are for you. These earbuds just clip onto your ear with ease. I love the premium feel of the case as well.

Best buds ive ever had!!!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I want to say as someone with bad ear fatigue and swollen ears from any earbuds that go in-ear this is legit the best thing to ever happen to me!! Now let me tell you why. First off sound quality, the sound quality is phenomenal but its not just ordinary sound. The sound is so hard to explain its like a movie theater is constantly following you around everywhere you go. Because its open and not inside your ear I feel like the sound is more natural and feels like you can touch the sound rather it being locked up in your head. I could go on all day long about the sound but lets talk about the comfort. As someone who can only use headphones because earbuds are so uncomfortable these really change the game. If you put these on right it fits perfectly and does not fall out. Ive worn these today for a total of 8 hours and a lot of the times I totally forgot they were even in. I tested them walking around the store doing some chores and even laying around and it didnt cause any problems. They are very lightweight so you dont have to worry about it weighing your ears down or falling down. Some more perks that are very nice to have are all the modes they offer I wont list them but the bose app offers different sound settings to choose from to enhance your experience. For the mic/phonecalls I don’t really know but I also don’t care. I give these a 5 star because of sound and comfort. I truly can’t explain how balanced and comfortable these earbuds are. Buy them and you will see

Like adding a soundtrack to your daily life
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love these earbuds! If you’re looking for something that will add a soundtrack to your daily life, this is it. You’ll still be able to hear everything around you while enjoying your favorite tunes. Perfect for hiking, biking, walking, onewheel, shopping, and just going through your daily activities. If you’re looking for something with noise canceling, this is not a product you should be looking at as it’s the complete opposite. My only complaints are the microphone is completely awful, in fact it’s unacceptably awful. Also, the charging case isn’t able to be charged wirelessly without a $49 additional purchase of a case protector to go over top. At this price point it should’ve come with a wireless charging case and a way better microphone.

Eh...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love having ear buds that i dont have to take out every time someone starts talking to me. The sound quality is good and the battery life is exceptional for small buds. These are wonderful for folks who may have had a hard time finding buds that fit their ears. These are not, however, comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. My ears start to ache from the way they squeeze to stay in place. But my ears are more sensitive than most folks. My biggest complaint is the connectivity. These constantly disconnect from my phone and/or the buds lose sync with eachother. It's incredibly obnoxious to have to manually reconnect them all the time and at $300 it's unacceptable.

Great sound, poor call audio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They are very lightweight and comfortable. Sound is amazing, as all bose sound should be. However, when you make a call, the person you call can barely hear you. I've adjusted every type of setting to try to make it clearer on the other end. Nothing works. Also, they pick up all of the outside noise from the person calling with these as well. I purchased two sets, one for me and for my husband. When wearing them and calling each other, we could barely hear each other, but I could hear everything around him. Sadly will be returning and trying something different. They are great, if all you use them for is listening to music. Not worth $300 to only listen to music.

They’re Great!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are great! For open earbuds, the sound is better than anything out there. They are cheaper ones that are $160 to $200 that get louder, and can be used in more daily activities, but they don’t sound as good. Bose bass is clear with music, and they sound great with videos/podcasts compared to others i have. The next most important thing is the fit is incredible! They are super secure and you barely feel them and it’s so unique and they look great. The button is very clicky. My issues with them is they don’t get loud enough, my ear pockets are a little bit bigger than any of the advertising so the speakers are millimeters further away from my ear canal. I also think for $300 it should have wireless charging. Other than that I recommend them for sure!

Sound great. Overall impressed with the design.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These new Bose open ear buds are pretty awesome. The only issue I've had is the first pair I bought had some static issues randomly. I meant to take them back for an exchange right away but thought maybe I'd wait for a firmware update. Once there was an available update, I installed it and it seemed to fix the issue. However, shortly after the update the right bud stopped charging and connecting. I exchanged for a new pair and have had zero issues thus far. The sound quality is absolutely incredible for being open-ear buds. They connect immediately and and are easy to pair. They charge to full fairly fast and seem to last for a few hours on a full charge. They take some time getting used to. At first they feel a little awkward to put them on but you get used to it pretty fast. I find that sometimes I forget they are even on. With that said, sometimes, after several hours of wearing them, they can feel like they are pinching your ears but a slight adjustment fixes it quickly. Overall I'm quite happy with them. On a side note, my wife bought a pair of the white/silver model and has had zero issues with hers. She uses hers with her Mac and iPhone and I use mine with an Android phone and an LG TV.

Unique execution
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The types of ways you can listen to audio is vast & many. Headphones, earbuds, & open ear buds all have a common goal: deliver audio. Everything else is a bonus that works or a flawed feature that needs a bit more time in the oven. Overall I am impressed with the execution of these open earbuds. I feel, after reading a few reviews, it’s being compared unfairly to tws earbuds that sit in your ear canal. Owning Bose Tenors, Sony LinkBuds, Shokz OpenRun Pro, & Shokz OpenFit; these Ultra Open Earbuds perform exceptionally. The way each company comes up with designs for their models never ceases to amaze me. It’s unique. These are secure once worn properly; shaking my head or jogging can did nothing to jar it loose. Sounds are just like my Ultra Earbuds & Ultra Headphones. Definitely Bose signature sound. The immersion mode somehow works in this open style. The app works seamlessly to tweak the EQ to your liking. Price is a talking point in what your expectations are for these style of earbuds; there are other options. If they go on sale, like the other Ultra options, give this a chance.

Lots to be Desired
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these headphones so I could hear while exercising and have a routine alternative to the ear wax collecting AirPods. I was very impressed with the sound quality of the open ear design upon initial listening in my car. The Spatial Audio sounded amazing and immersive when listening to voice audio and some songs. After some use, I found I was losing sound quality if I didn’t adjust the headphones just right in my ear, I could never seem to consistently find the sweet spot. Phone calls are absolutely horrible due to the low quality microphone. I contacted Bose about the issue and they had no resolution to the problem and could only offer to swap the device; the issue is the components not my item specifically. Needless to say, I talk all call directly on my phone when I’m using these. The case is built with surprisingly low quality plastic. The lid feels like it can be easily crushed or broken with the wrong move unlike the AirPods case. Sometimes the headphones will lose synchronization between each other resulting in audio in only one bud which can only be resolved by placing the pods back in the case. The battery life is sufficient and I can use the device all day without needing a charge. They are comfortable and it’s easy to forget you have them one. In loud outdoor spaces like walking downtown or in a mall the audio is very washed out. When I use these in quite location they are great for listening to YouTube, podcast and music. The audio profile is rather good when you have the on properly and there’s no excessive noise. I do use them for casual listening to audio content as I stroll around the house or in the city because I can still interact with people while I have background music playing and I avoid the ear wax magnets (AirPod). I would not recommend these for travel, gym or as wireless phone. They are great for running and casual listening in low to moderate noise environments. I personally would not buy them again unless Bose fixed the mic issue.

Posted .Thanks for your review of the Ultra Open Earbuds, Michael!
I'm very happy to hear that you like the earbuds' OpenAudio and Immersive Audio sound technology, as well as their comfort and battery performance.
The charging case is designed to be durable and to protect your earbuds; nonetheless, I would recommend handling the case with general care. If you're finding it difficult to maintain the perfect fit, the following article will help you to wear and adjust your earbuds correctly: https://support.bose.com/s/display-articles?productId=01t8c00000OlcI5AAJ&articleId=ka08c000001pWLKAA2&language=en_US.
As for phone calls, Bose has recently released firmware update 4.0.22 (and later) to improve the customer's experience on calls. Therefore, make sure you're using the latest firmware; the Bose app will announce all new firmware versions, so that you can download them.

Gentle on your ear/amazing sound & bass!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love them! Barely feel them on, in fact, I forget half the time that I'm even wearing them. Sound/bass is amazing for the fact that its not "inside" your ear and that I don't have to take them out to hear what's going on around me or the person I'm talking to. very gentle on my ear and stays on while running or exercising. very happy.

Comfortable and great sound
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When they work, they work great. I’ve had a few disconnecting issues, but nothing I couldn’t fix on my own. I don’t like that you have to use the Bose app to pair them. I can’t connect them to my kindle paperwhite. Other than that they are fantastic. Easy to put on, stay put, comfortable even with multiple piercings in each ear.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ever since i purchased these bose ultra open air earbuds they have been everything i was looking for in a pair of daily driver earbuds and more, i want looking for anything noise canceling because I have kids and also my job for working in a steel mill i need to be very aware of my surroundings, but at the same time i need to stay connected to my phone because my company uses Microsoft teams to chat and message with so these make everything convenient for me because i Wear a hardhat and safety glasses and these do not get in the way of either piece of equipment i Wear and are very very comfortable for all day and night use, the volume on these are loud enough and the call quality is good enough, we'll done Bose.

Decent 2nd attempt at open ear. Improvement needed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headset is very comfortable, lightweight, and easy to use while sounding great when listening to music. I tend to use them mainly for calls which is where it fell short big time. They let in way too much background noise to a point that had people asking me if I had a different set to use or they would get irritated by the noise they were hearing. This really made the price too high. Would love for Apple and Beats to try their hand at open ear.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these about 2 weeks back, and I went back to the store to return them 3 times because they were hurting my ears. Every time I went back, I would try different brands and just end up keeping them. Some won’t stay on your ears, others won’t sound as good. So I ended up keeping them and I am so glad that I did! I think they were just new, so they had to loosen up a little, because after using them for a while I can’t even feel them on my ears anymore. I am extremely happy and so glad that I kept them! Wonderful sound, great quality, and will never come off my ears when I run!!!
