    I was given the Bose Wave System several years ago as a gift. My now, adult son, decided he would like one for his home and I recalled what a wonderful gift it was when I received it so decided to buy one for him!

    First of all, my wife and I have no business ordering a $499 stereo system. It just seemed excessive and there must be other less expensive options that would be just as good. After scouting those options I determined- there's not. You get what you pay for. After the Bose Wave arrived we plugged it into our kitchen/ dining/ living room area and knew in the first moments- this was a winner. We both heard notes and background musical instruments we've never heard before on the same CD's we've listened to for years. Impressive- so much so that even though we had no business spending $499 on another one for the master bedroom- we did just that- and now we have TWO Bose Wave stereo's- and their worth every penny. Please do yourself a favor- BUY ONE- BETTER YET BUT TWO!!!

    There is no other sound more superior than Bose in my book!! The sound is incredible and the Wave is very user friendly! This made the perfect Xmas gift for my parents!! It's been playing since 12/25!
