    Latest update loses much Internet Radio capability

    I received my Bose Wave SoundTouch Music System IV yesterday and am seriously considering returning it. FM radio reception is excellent, as is the sound, hence the two stars, but I learned during setup that the latest update, #20, drops vTuner in favor of TuneIn, rendering my favorite station 97Five inaccessible. From memory, update #20 release notes say something like "Say hello to TuneIn, goodbye to Internet Radio". Unfortunately, I had no alternative but to apply the latest update when I had issues with Windows 10 not recognizing the SoundTouch USB connection, which is required for setup using a desktop. The update cured the USB issue, but took away vTuner. From the many complaints in the Bose Community site from around the world, I am not alone. I have doubts that the improvement promised by Bose for January, 2019 will completely restore previous functionality and believe that I may have bought an expensive bedside radio.

    Great sound for anyone who loves music

    The sound quality is great, and it is a perfect fixture anywhere in the house. I really love its capability to connect wireless and control by a mobile phone to other Soundtouch devices. The only problem I encountered with it is for the initial upgrade on the device software. I used all the methods indicated, with different device and platform, but finally, it only worked with the USB drive.
