Bose is our favorite brand when buying quality sound equipment. This SoundTouch did not disappoint. It automatically connects whenever we turn on the desktop, making it very easy to use. We travel with our computer, hook it up to our tv with HDMI and watch all of our Netflix, Hulu and Fire TV movies with GREAT sound! It's also the best Bluetooth speaker for playing music from our iPhones! The radio antenna is built into the power cord, so there's no additional FM antenna to worry about. You just hook the two components together and then plug the outlet into the wall and turn it on! It's great for low background music or a LOUD western. Of course, it does not deliver the sound of our Bose 901 speakers we have at home, but really, what does? You can't rattle the windows and dishes with the Wave like the 901s, but you can enjoy easily portable music with that great Bose sound wherever you go.

I replaced a Bose Wave Radio/CD that I got for Christmas in 2000 because the CD player no longer worked. Much has improved in 18 years - the sound is amazing, set-up was very easy, and by downloading the Sound Touch App I have linked my Sirius and Amazon Music accounts and easily used the preset buttons to store stations and playlists. I use the Wave Sound Touch as an alarm, a sleep timer, and to listen to music and CDs. The remote is easy to use and with the App, I can control the radio anywhere in the house. Many people spoke about the price in their reviews. In 2000, my Bose Wave Radio/CD was $499. That makes the new one a bargain!

It looks and sounds amazing. Got the 10% off Bose sale price, so it was $539. Worth every penny. The bass is just perfect. It gets AM and FM stations that many radios do not seem to get. I love the feature where you just touch the top of the unit and it turns on or off. Again, nothing replaces a Bose system. Nothing.

Had to find a replacement for our Panasonic micro system when we replaced the bookcases in our living room. The new system had to be low profile, capture a few FM stations and play CDs, so I picked up a newer and smaller version of our old Panasonic. Just for fun (and at my oldest son’s prompting), I purchased the Bose unit, as well. After setting up both systems, my son did some A/B comparisons using Bluetooth on his iPhone. I had always considered Bose speakers to be overpriced and overhyped, but listening to the sound coming from this unit had me re-evaluating those thoughts. By purchasing the Bose system, I had opened Pandora’s box, and knew that it would be difficult to go back to a conventional system. My final hurdle was the price. I NEVER would have considered spending over $200 for a bookshelf system (let alone 3 times that amount), but I was already addicted, and couldn’t imagine not having the Wave system. I now have a renewed interest in listening to my music collection, and consider it a worthwhile investment for that reason alone. If you have a smartphone, install the SoundTouch app for additional options, including internet radio.

WOW!! Bose has lived up to its reputation for fantastic sound systems and then some. The Soundtouch System IV is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Excellent selection of music sources from around the world, and the system fills any room with crystal clear music. Some reviews of the Bose app used to control the system have been negative. However, my experience could not have been better. Use it on 2 iPads, iPhone & iMac computer - all work flawlessly.

Easy to use. Great sound. Love the Bluetooth option. I would recommend this for someone technically challenged because of it's ease of use. And the size is perfect if space is limited in your home. I should have got one earlier.

I've been waiting for Bose to update their Radio System. When I got the email from Bose about the new Radio system, I just went to Bestbuy, pre ordered it and picked it up at the Store. Bose always has the best Sound Quality and I love the Internet Radio with a simple and elegant design. It's worth every penny I spent!

I've never been disappointed with Bose products although this would be my first Wave system. I wanted a Wave system for my office so I could listen to radio or stream music from my phone or the Internet. I was considering the previous generation Wave III system, but waited and got the IV instead. I thought the IV looked sleeker which was my preference for getting it over the III. The music is outstanding, great volume, bass, treble and the like. The build quality is outstanding. I was shocked at how heavy the system is for it's small size. But I like that...it feels very well built. This was a great investment even though it is much more costly than other table/shelf music systems.

High quality, but would like deeper basss

As with all Bose products , it is high quality with great features, but I wish the bass was deeper. There are only 2 adjustments for the bass, which is normal bass & less bass. The bass is okay, but I wish there was an adjustment for a deeper bass. The highs are nice and crisp, but for my personal taste, I like a lot of bass. That is my only small complaint. I like to sleep to music playing and like the sleep timer which be set in increments up to 90 minutes. There are 2 alarm settings which is nice. There is a CD player to play CDs, and which you can even set a particular song from a CD to be your alarm. I like listening to Spotify, Pandora, IHeart Radio, & Internet stations from all over the world on it from my wi-fi connection. I can connect to my Napster account through the Bluetooth connection. It is high quality & would easily give it 5 stars if I could get a little more bass. Bose has great products! As with most Bose products, this one is also high priced. I guess you get what you pay for! If there was a 4 1/2 stars that is the rating I'd give it. It is a great product, and I am glad I bought it!

This system is excellent. It has taken some hits from people having trouble connecting it to the app. This can be done using a common PC; you do not need a phone or tablet. The way to do this is first throw away the connecting cable which comes with the system; that little cable is worthless. Go to Best Buy and purchase a simple, inexpensive cable which was made for use with the X Box (it is blue and quite long...tell the helpers what you want. It is a good cable which has worked every time for me. When you get it connected (the directions are terrible, of course but read them slowly and try to figure out that "speaker" actually means the "Bose Radio"). On the back, there is a small and "feeble" connection which is VERY easy to "think" you have connected which you may not; you must do this VERY carefully and get it to fit perfectly. It will, but you have to be a kind of detective to see that it is done correctly; it is very easy to feel you have it connected when you actually do not). It you get a message which says "can't find your speaker (radio), you probably do not have it connected securely or are trying to use the piece of junk which comes with the unit. Be patient, REALLY, this does work and works well when you get it connected through your persistence. The radio is just superb in my opinion. The app works on phones, tablets and PCs (it tells you which one to download for a PC). The radio stations come from everywhere you can think of...all over the place including many locals. The playlists work perfectly from the streaming sources and it is unbelievable how they make the sound actually seem as if it is coming from a two-sided sound stage; stereo with only one sided source. Remarkable. As with most electronics, the directions and "help" comments are just TERRIBLE. If you do what I suggest, I would bet you will not have problems and things will work smoothly. When you get it hooked up, you will be in for quite an experience as the sound is incredible.
