There is no better sound from any other radio. The only thing I was disappointed in was, I purchased two wireless speakers and they work great but you cannot program them to play from a CD in the radio. Who would have thought a great piece of technology that would not play a CD to have sound available for the wireless external speakers. Bose needs to find a fix for this. The only way to play the music through the radio and the external speakers is to load the CD in windows media player and then download the "soundtouch" on your computer or iphone. that works great. Actually it works better on the computer. The iphone is little flacky.. Other than that it is fantastic.

I got this system to replace my Bose Wave Radio that I got in 2000. The old system still works great except that the CD is no longer reliable. My wife and I wake up to a specific CD each morning and so it makes it difficult. We love the sound of the Bose and so even though it is expensive, we knew that it would have great sound quality and the functionality that we want. We want to get our phones, iPads, computers etc out of the bedroom at night so that we have no distractions and this means that we need a reliable system to wake us for work. This system works great. There are two alarms, When the CD kicks in to wake us up the volume slowly increases so that we are woken up gently, The screen automatically dims when it’s dark and if we lose power, the alarm will still go off as a buzzer. The bluetooth works well allowing me to stream from my phone/tablet/computer to the Bose. I would have liked to be able to load MP3’s onto the Bose (32M memory or so) so that I don’t have to use the CD. The phone app provides limited functionality, basically volume up and down and is not real impressive. I’m happy with the purchase and the system.

I absolutely love my Bose Wave Sound Touch Music System IV-Black! This was a surprise gift from my children. The sound quality is amazing. The remote control, alarm clock, and blue tooth are state of the art! I highly recommend you run out an buy one.

Set up was a little confusing. However, I love the music system. We mainly use it to listen to the radio. We live in a rural area, and it picks up the stations well. Also, the sound quality is amazing---a nice, clean sound. Love the remote control and love that I can turn the system on or off with a tap to the top as I walk by.

Wanted a smaller sound system and was surprised to find for such a small device it packs a theater sound system. So easy to hook up to any device from the Bluetooth, practically does it for you. Why not spend the few extra dollars and get an amazing sound system, you won't be disappointed. I am very pleased with my choice!

Bose has the most beautiful sound of any system we have owned.Easy to set up and fully functional in all modes.

Our last Bose system wave radio lasted 15 years so decided to get another. This unit is great! Easy setup with easy to understand directions. Up and in use in 15 minutes. Able to connect speakers in other rooms with Bluetooth. SoundTouch has some great stations and is able to connect streaming stations from all over. Plus it sounds wonderful!

this radio has an amazing sound as well as look. its great that it also is Bluetooth compatible. Easy to use.

So we have about 100 CD's that we don't want to part with and dead set against stepping into the technology of the future, us old people still need a CD player. This little system is amazing for it's size, sounds great. Very happy to have found a quality system that still plays the CD's. Thank you Bose!

I am thrilled with the Bose Wave SoundTouch Music System IV. The sound is unbelievable and I am now able to receive radio stations I could never hear before due to my location. Is everything as advertised and more. Especially love the remote control and being able to control the system with my iPhone app. Love, love, love it.

The sound quality is great, and it is a perfect fixture anywhere in the house. i really love its capability to connect wireless and control by a mobile phone to other Soundtouch devices. The only problem I encountered with it is for the initial upgrade on the device software. I used all the methods indicated, with different device and platform, but finally, it only worked with the USB drive.

Very easy to set up and sounds amazing. App allows me to turn it on and off without going over to get the remote. So many options for music now.

My spouse wanted something easy but with great sound for the kitchen. The Bose Wave Sound Touch Music System IV was perfect. She wanted the CD player as she has a good collection. The wifi and blue tooth capabilities will replace the CDs in time.

I remodeled my kitchen and dining room and wanted a good sounding, good looking radio for the area. I especially wanted one with a CD player, which is hard to fine now a days since CD's are on the way out. I still have quite a collection of CD's and like to listen to them from time to time. This radio does not disappoint. The SoundTouch is an extra bonus as you can program satellite radio, plus Pandora and other stations through the SoundTouch app. I am very pleased with my purchase of this radio and do not regret purchasing it. Sound is outstanding, I have had no problems at all with the operation or sound of this radio.
