The Bose Wave has great sound in a compact design. I was very happy to find this product on sale for the first time. I bought it because it has a CD player option (hard to find these days).

Great product. Super easy to use. Sound is excelent.

We had to return our first Bose system due to a glitch in the remote and instructed by Bose tech to exchange. No problems doing that with BB as we were within the exchange/return timeframe. We enjoy the sound and ease of use. The soundtouch feature is very handy for quick turn on/off. We are in the process of moving the system around the room to find best sound location. It is light and easy to move around. The app was easy to use; it linked into our wifi ext smoothly. Overall we are very happy with this product. This is our second Bose product, we have Bose Wireless Quiet Comfort Headphones and are extremely happy with the headset.

Love this radio. Excellent sound quality and so many "bells and whistles", yet still simple to use. Requires little setup. Wifi capability allows streaming of music from almost anywhere. Incredible sound for such a small size. This radio was a gift and it has been used every single day since it was received. Highly recommend.

The audio is good with a great bass that has two adjustments. At night I like being able to turn the radio off with just a touch on top. The WIFI and Bluetooth is great too.

The sound quality is even better than I expected. It’s easy to set up and use. Dual alarm clocks. Bluetooth is a nice addition to these newer models. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought the equivent Sonos speaker. It had excellent sound. I found it very limited. The Bose has FM radio and CD slot. Plus it sounds, on average as good as the Sonos. Better for guitar and vocals, not quite the bass as the Sonos. Both are great. I just needed the radio and cd slot. It is a wonderful piece of gear.

Sound very acceptable for the size , airplay is a huge asset as well as a CD player . Radio works perfect even without antenna . Great for the bedroom and office !

The sound quality (especially bass) from this small radio/CD player is pretty amazing. If you have limited space and you want to hear high quality audio, this is your best bet. Bose quality is the best!

I had already purchased a previous BOSE radio and wanted another for elsewhere in my home. I love playing CDs on it and listening to the quality of the playing. It matches no other.

The sound quality is what I expected from Bose. It fills my open design home with ease. That said, there is no way to add remote speakers for the yard or basement shop. This wouldn't have been hard for Bose. It's clear they want to cash in by making you buy another radio. Would recommend - just know what you're getting.

I would definitely go with the Wave SoundTouch if you can afford to pay the extra amount. Setting the Bose with your Smartphone was pretty easy with the Bose App. It is so much more convenient to work off your Smartphone and WiFi. However, i’m Not sure if it is a cliche with the radio or probably my WiFi. It seems to break up during the music. Some times or days more than others. Very irritating. Any advise on how to stop that would be appreciated. I fortunately bought this when on sale and I had almost a couple hundred dollars in Rewards. Otherwise, the original price would have been too pricey for me.

I just bought my Bose Wave Soundtouch Music System IV a few days ago but I'm already loving everything about it. I'm a big Bose fan and have another Bose Soundtouch 30 system in the house but this one beats it on the quality of the sound. Bose's Wave Guide technology is superb and the sound you get from this small unit is outstanding. Setup was surprisingly very easy. I hesitated for a few days setting it up after buying it so I could watch the youtube videos on how to do so and also wanted to read the owner's manual. I had no problem setting up my first Bose Soundtouch 30 system but this was my second system and the youtube videos didn't help at all since they only talked about setting up the first one and not an add on. The instruction manual was also very confusing to me for setting up a second system and I consider myself fairly tech savy. Anyway, I went ahead and tried it and it was a very very easy setup. I was up and running in a matter of a few minutes. I have the new system set up in my bedroom and it fills the entire bedroom with fantastic sound. It's very easy to operate and the remote control can run everything. I moved it away from the bed and put it on a dresser so the speakers are facing the entire room. I can control everything with the remote control so it's no problem not having it by the bed on my nightstand. The owner's manual spells everything out very clearly for operating the system. And if you want to impress your friends, just pop in the demo CD that came with the unit and you will blow them away with the clarity of the sound. You have an AM/FM tuner and single CD player along with Bluetooth capabilities and, of course, WiFi so you can stream thousands of internet radio stations, Spotify, Deezer, etc. It also has an AUX connection in the back in case you want to connect something that doesn't have Bluetooth like an old iPod. It also has six presets on the remote control where you can preset AM or FM radio stations or, if using WiFi, your favorite playlists from Spotify, etc, There is also a Soundtouch APP for both IOS and Android phones and tablets that you use to set it up and it also has the same presets. With this app you can search your internet radio stations or Spotify, etc, and set up the presets off your favorite playlists. When I go to bed at night now, all I have to do is grab the remote, hit the preset for the playlist I want off Spotify and hit the button for the sleep timer. The system is expensive, as are most Bose products, but I consider it a good investment to my future music enjoyment. I have friends who have had Bose Wave systems in their home for over 20 years and they still sound and look great.

My husband and I bought this Bose as our Christmas gift to each other. We are so pleased and wonder why we waited so long to purchase it. They are pricey, but wow the sound is amazing. Highly recommend.

My wife wanted something with good sound for playing her CD collection. I figured if we were going to invest the $ let's get a good solution. The Bose provides super sound that is hard to beat. The fact that much of the functionality is only controllable via the remote or an app is a bit annoying. My wife uses the remote, I wanted to use the app. Wife is happy. I am frustrated. When I launch the app, more often than not it can't find the speaker even tho my router shows it is connected to the network and I end up going through the setup again. I realize that sometimes the problem is because I have both 2.4 and 5 GHZ wireless networks in the house and if the speaker is on one and my phone on another they don't interact. It is just frustrating especially considering the cost of the unit. You can't beat the sound. My wife is happy. Without the app/network issues I can't use all of the features. In hindsight I would have been happier with the non-wifi model. It's great when it works and the sound is super.

We had one little problem with our Bose--we played a cd that was "home made" and the paper label caused the cd to become stuck inside. It was difficult to get it out! But we were able to without taking the player apart. Don't use home made cd's in your Bose! Otherwise we are very happy with the quality of sound.

Bose has mastered big sound in a small package many years ago. What is so impressive about this system is how it connects to the internet, not just to your bluetooth device. We had other bluetooth speakers that sounded great, but we became frustrated by the limitation of bluetooth connectivity. For example: getting a text or phone call, limited range, time spent connecting and reconnecting, etc. With the Bose, it is always connected to the internet and you simply use your phone or tablet to control the radio. You can even connect the wave radio to all of the music saved on your home computer. This format means that everyone in my family has the ability to use their own device to play spotify, pandora, our music library, or other music service from anywhere in the house (and control volume without changing the volume on your phone). You CAN use the wave radio as a traditional wireless speaker in bluetooth mode, as well, which comes in handy if for youtube videos and the like. The fact that the wave radio IS and actual AM/FM radio is fantastic, as well

When I purchased this, I thought I would need to buy a speaker with bass, but this has excellent deep bass and the treble is great! The touch feature really makes things more convenient. The compact size of the system really opens up possibilities for placement. It is compatible with my Apple phone, tablet and my WiFi. This was a great buy and I will be purchasing more Bose products in the future.

This system had great sound along with many source options such as FM, AM, CD, or a Bluetooth paired device. I enjoy pairing by Smartphone and listening to my iTunes music.
