Seems to be a great product that lm only able to have a general speculation for performance due to some miscommunication and haven't had it installed yet and with the purchase l was told eligible for Free service it seems to have a reason Free won't be a definition lm waiting for correspondence currently.

Never heard of Boss before, not a bad receiver. It’s larger than what I expected but I like it.

I live the stereo. When i had it installed the person was very friendly and on time. My only complaint is that i have to have the balance over a little to the left side to hear my phone calls. Said he didnt have time to fix it.

Do not buy. I purchased this unit because it offered the features I needed (Apple Carplay and bluetooth) at a very cheap price and had an enormous screen. In reality none of the features work well and the overall build quality/funcionality of this unit is terrible. The Apple Carplay is virtually unusable because of a reverberating echo every time a call is made that is heard on both ends of the call. After calling support for both Boss and Apple, I found out that Boss isn't even an officially supported brand by Apple and from what I was told is not using officially licensed Apple software? Also there has not been and presumable will not be any update to the Boss unit's firmware. The bluetooth in this unit didn't even work. It was not available to any of the devices I tried to pair with it. Nothing there. Last but not least, the huge screen is still only 800x480. very low-res and looks blurry. The worst thing about that huge screen though is I could not use the dimmer/illumination function with my vehicle's lighting because anytime the setting was active the backlight of the screen would strobe and flash like it was trying to give me a seizure. So it's either manually change the brightness every time I drive in the day or night, or be blinded/distracted by a 10 inch screen at night because in the day it's unviewable in sunlight at lower brightness levels. Needless to say, I returned this unit two days after purchase and bought a Pioneer DMH-1770NEX. It has a smaller screen, but every single function works flawlessly in the same vehicle wired to the same harness by the same technician as the Boss was. Oh and it was also $70 cheaper than this dumpster fire (insert laughing emoji).
