I purchased this radio to replace the Aging cassette tape deck CD player that was factory installed. It's a 2004 car so I did not want to spend in lot of money on it but just to update the car. All of the options seem to work okay Bluetooth, the radio phone connectivity. The only issue is Ndrive for the GPS it badly needs to be updated and I'm having a hard time finding out how to do it I have contacted the folks at ndrive and I have got no response. I think you cannot go wrong with this purchase unless you're going to be totally dependent on the GPS system.

This is a much better radio than I had anticipated. I installed it myself in a 2004 GMC Yukon that previously had a different aftermarket radio (double DIN) installed. Install was straight forward. Navigation works well and radio sounds better than the previous higher end that was in there. Only draw back is the volume for the microphone when using bluetooth phone is hard for the other person to hear. I wish it could use an external mic or have a mic gain. Bought it on sale and so far it's a great value - CD player, nav, BT, even rear camera ready, equalizer, pre-amp and speaker outputs are all labelled. It can work with SWC as well all for less than $200.

This stereo has everything: GPS, Bluetooth phone, contact list & music streaming, programmable EQ, decent power, CD/DVD player, USB, video inputs (rear view camera, front camera, etc.) and all for a fraction of the cost of the big brand names. It even has a full function remote control and a Steering Wheel Control icon in the menu that you press so that it learns some of the steering wheel's audio controls. And for those who are wondering about durability, mine is currently only two months old (installed February 2019) but my mother's is a year and four months old (installed December 2018) and neither one has ever malfunctioned. Can't say enough good things about it!

The Boss was fairly easy to install, but not all of the parts came with it to connect it to my steering wheel functions. I spent another $125 on extra parts and still not all of the functions on the steering wheel are working...in particular the volume and phone. Needless to say, this has been a big disappointment with all of the extras I had to purchase.

It sounds clear and looks nice in my car. The navigation on the unit is a bit sketchy. It didn't recognize an address to a well known hospital when driving to Philadelphia. The dvd player plays really well and sound sounds great. The microphone is actually on the face of the unit so it can be a little difficult for others to hear you during a phone call if the heat or AC is blowing through the vents. Overall though, not that bad... not bad at all

Absolutely love it! The radio works great, the backup camera is a plus and on screen navigation has made it great for trips short or long. We don't have to use our phones and longer for our navigation which drained our batteries. It has several other functions on it also. We absolutely love it and free installation too. You can't beat it!

-Radio works well
-Best Buy advertises this unit as "Android Auto", not true
- Best Buy told me I must buy the steering wheel controller adapter to use that function, not true. This device will allow you to manually program your controls.
-GPS is bad in comparison to Google Maps.
-DVD works well

I’ve used this system for 2 months and my review on the product is very good radio and hands free phone conversation the gps is fine but takes longer then normal to receive a sa. Signal. I haven’t really tried the DVD functions but only once and it seemed fine I also purchased a rear view camera and that functions great. One this I wished that would be larger was the time of day when the unit is on as that’s the only clock for my vehicle.

Radio is good, unlike a couple of reviews, I haven't had any issues with the touch screen (ya know IA had a couple of cold spells, so -5° - 10° was common and NO issues with radio.
The installation, well its basically, well fake it.
Theres little to no instructions on how to mount it, or that you need to use the OEM bracket when swapping out a double DIN factory radio with this. I even went to the Boss website looking for help, but again another dead end.
Just a note, the Nav interface is a TomTom. Have yet to figure out how to update the map.
All in all, nice radio, but the documentation is a nightmare.

Wow... this thing really is super nice with sooo many features! I don’t think you can find anything close for twice the cost! Forget spending $600 or more to get in dash GPS with all the bells and whistles to work with your cell phone and more. Extremely easy to use as well. I plan to buy another soon for 2nd car!

This radio has been a great budget radio. This double din radio has a DVD player (not blue ray), GPS, and USB, aux, and SD card plug-ins with optional back up camera plug-in. I would recommend this radio to anyone looking to get their best for their buck out of a budget radio.

The average navigation receiver is in the $500 range. This was $200 and is just as good as the Pioneer that it replaced. The Boss has just as many features, is easy to use and the nav software works great. It also was an easy install.

I love this product so much that after the first and second ones stopped working after about a month, I went with a 3rd one. Fortunately, the units were still covered by the store warranty. And it is free installation. And the Best Buy auto installation team is not far from my house. And, by far, it is the least expensive radio/navigation system that I have found to date.
However, that said, the rule "three strikes and you're out"....

Navigation is good. Picture and sound is really good. However, when uYou turn the volume knob to the right, it decreases and then increases volume. Its poorly designed. But it does have a remote, which is a plus.
