Great distortion pedal for the money. Actually, you could spend more and might not get one as good. BOSS is a trusted name in pedals, with good reason. Yeah, if you have over a hundred bucks to spend on one pedal you might find a better one. But for the $50 range this is definitely the BOSS.

A little noisy, but good overall sound. Great for grunge

I recommend this distortion pedal. It's affordable and high quality. You can play music such as Hard rock, American rock, British Punk, Natural clip, Crunch, Mild and Warm, Fuzz, and Fusion. It's awesome and perfect for beginner guitarists (I speak the truth because I am one). I am performing soon and I am excited to use it for the first time in front of a big audience.

I enjoy this pedal. I have purchased two in the last five years. I felt i didnt need it then i wanted it again. The pedal gives a good range of distortion but lacks the heavy stuff. But thats why BOSS has the MT2. I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice british distortion or any range of chilled disortion. It really does the job.

A classic distortion pedal from BOSS. Works great and is truly affordable. Has been very dependable with no issues except for battery appetite so I use a power adaptor now.

This is a great distortion from BOSS. It is cheap, easy to use, and it sounds great! PERFECT for a new guitarist. I have been playing for 8 years and I wish I owned it a lot earlier. I started with a blues driver, but started wanting just a tad more meat to the distortion. This did it for me! Over all, a well rounded distortion. A+

This thing rocks and has a GREAT British distortion sound.
