The battery runs out fairly quickly. Also for a lot of monitors, the clip doesn't extend wide enough to attach but it should be more than enough for cell phone/tablets.

The battery is dead upon arrival and the light only turns on when connected to a USB port, which basically defeats the purpose of having it clipped on the phone for additional lighting.
