Microphone is small and compact. This is great for new camera users whether it is for vlogging or simple videos. Perfect choice.

If you're on a budget. This is a great mic. Sound quality is good. I still would suggest getting something like Rode though.

When I bought my camcorder, the sales rep assured me that this mic would be sufficient for my needs (20 feet away, outdoors or in a barn). It did not perform well at all. Weird buzzing noises, couldn't hear voice over the wind even with wind sock, etc. Don't bother. Buy something higher end (I got wireless bluetooth mic and receiver and love them).

For beginners and quick set up, this is ideal. Easy set up is key.

It does a little better than the actual mic on the camera.

The microphone works well although the only setback is the battery life and the battery cover is also problematic to change on the spot

It's simple to use, does what it needs to in controlled settings. Big plus for having a wibbly-wobbly springy stand, you can entertain yourself bopping it back & forth when you get bored.

I had to adapt the plug from 3.5 to 2.5mm, worked better than expected.

I bought this for both YouTube and other customer videos. This mic performs better than my other mics I have an more than TWICE the cost. Cuts wind and background noise without sacrificing sound quality.

This mic is pretty good it's compact so when you need a mic on the fly it's good!! Espically when you don't wanna use this big rode mics for vlogging or Jura recording video

This mic was very well priced for the quality of sound it produces. We have used it on our cell phone and our sony A77ii. It has worked better than expected on both.
